  • That's great to hear, I loved it myself and would say it is one of my personal favs out of the franchise so far.

  • Just finished Episode 2 and still loving it!

  • Honestly I kind of like the idea that like little kids and new technology these days, growing up in that world would make you more proficient at surviving in it than someone thrown into it in their thirties or forties. You can make the argument anyway.

  • Season Two wasn't as good as the first, but let's face it, nothing was going to be.

Well, I can't lie or deny that. That's true.

  • :3 I'd like to here your final thoughts when you complete episode five! Pretty pleeeease ~

  • This is when opinions usually get really interesting.

I personally like Amid the Ruins, but it does... well, you'll see. :)

    These endings are insane!

  • Or maybe because Season 2 was just bad (imo)? Its not about what we want or don't want, its about what works. I haven't met anyone who actually wanted Lee to die in Season 1, but I think we can all agree that it worked for the story and made S1 the legendary masterpiece that it is.

and don't get why people say it completely sucks Because they're salty that Telltale didn't do what they wanted

  • Awesome.

Just that the episode's tone is distinctly despondent and macabre. I think that it's depiction of death is something more focused on shock rather than emotional impact, it comes from such a cold and nihilistic place that a lot of players felt alienated.

But, I think if Telltale had focused more on pushing people to their wits end rather than whatever they tried doing in No Going Back (you'll see, ugh) a lot of people would've taken more out of the season. It was just so dark and I think for a lot of people, that translated to being unenjoyably.

No one is trying to ruffle your feathers. It just really seems like you seemed upset that people disliked Season 2, like the reason they disliked it wasn't valid and just silly.

Nope, I don't really care if someone has a different opinion than mine, though it did kind of look like you were trying to rustle me conside

  • Guys, lets not ruin the experience for the OP. It's up to them to decided whether Season 2 is good or not.

Only 13% left with Kenny at the end?

  • I left with Jane. So, how tough was it for you to decide to enter Wellington or leave with Kenny?

  • edited August 2015

The decision between Kenny/Jane was tough. The decision to not enter Wellington was easy for me because I wasn't going to split up with Kenny after all that. What about you?

I chose Jane without hesitation, but I won't lie, Kenny's words after had me pretty sad. I don't regret choosing Jane though. I have 1 non canon playthrough where I left with Kenny. My thought was: we made it this far together, let's not split up now. But seeing Jane die broke my heart. Never. Again. Lol

  • I liked Amid The Ruins as well, one of the few that did. Sadly though at the same time i was very disappointed that the episode didn't relate to the Ep4 slide at all as i was looking forward to a hatless, blood on face Clem and during a night time setting. It gave out a really creepy, eery feeling which i had looked forward to but was let down. However, i did like the episode, it had some very intense moments. Like with all of Season 2 though, it lacked what Season 1 had such as more hubs, clem looking at something and commenting to herself like Lee did in Season 1, also character bonding, episodes longer to explore and get familiar with.

There are lots of other things but i'd be here forever haha
