  • When they say the game is larger than any of the others I wonder if that means your choices will actually matter? If this IS the final chapter to the game it could mean genuine choices that truly change the game. I'd be so happy if this were true. If it's not the final chapter then I doubt it. However more game play is good regardless.

  • Me too.

I see what you mean. Telltale's episodes of GoT and TftB are at least 2 hours long or shorter. TWD S3 will definitely create episodes longer than 2 hours! Just kidding. Honestly, I don't care how long the episodes will be. As far as their quality is on high level. Chances are that Telltale will follow the same rule with Season 3. They always say that they want to create an episode that we will be able to finish in first take, for example while we wait for dinner or something or when we return from work and we want to just relax. (Relax? With TWD? I'm stupid!). Anyway, 90-120 minutes is their current length for episodes so I doubt they will expend it again like in Season 1. Not that I wouldn't mind longer episodes but reality is different, unfortunately.

Don't get your hopes up about this last idea of yours. Endings of Season 2 are part of Season 2 so Telltale won't place them in Season 3 so you could have a chance to chose again. Odds are that if someone didn't had a chance to play previous seasons and he/she don't want to do this then all of his/her previous choices will be randomly generated by game itself, like in Season 2 when it had an option to generate Season 1 choices.

But this is way too big. What if someone chose Jane ending in PS3 and got Kenny ending in PC? Lol, I guess it would just randomly generate the choices, but it seems like a bummer..

Also I don't think S3 will have generated your S1's choices in the game. Maybe it will but it seems farfetched.

  • Doesn't matter that it's way to big. It's very unlikely that Telltale will do it, no matter what. If someone chose Jane on PS3 and wants to continue the story on PC then he/she has to either find a way to import his/her saves or play through the entire game from the beginning. Why do you think S3 generating S1 choices seems farfetched to you. Telltale have to assume that maybe there will be players who will discover S3 and play it but didn't had a chance to play previous seasons before. Yes, I know. It's kind of stupid playing S3 without playing previous ones but I know people who started with Season 2 without playing Season 1. Of course, they tried the original later but you know what I mean.

  • I think you misunderstood me. Point was, Season 1 is a bit too far away from Season 3, and what if there is someone (cough Lilly cough) thats from season 1 and comes back in season 3, and says the alternative way of how things happened or whatever. Such as Clem mentioning how she left Lee or shot him, or something like that. I know, it proabably sounds stupid. But I just think its farfetched. Game already glitched the hell out for me on Season 2, when trying to pick a different save file.

Hm... then maybe Telltale should create something similiar to what BioWare did with Mass Effect 2 when they released it on PS3? They created a comic mini-game where you were able to make choices from Mass Effect 1. If, as you say, generating Season 1 and 2 choices in Season 3 is a bit farfetched then maybe Telltale should think about creating something similiar to what BioWare did?

  • will Lee back in season 3? or is there any possibility in further seasons....because lee was cured by someone.

  • I'm a bit apprehensive about the fact that they're still figuring out the protagonist going from S2 to S3. I had hoped that they ended S2 with a pretty clear vision of where to go next with the story. I guess we'll just have to see how things turn out.

  • Even after Season 1 they had "things" to figure out, even protagonist itself so it isn't nothing new or surprising.

  • Maybe they're referring to the final choices that are very diverse. and each player will actually start from where it left off. I hope :D

  • I hope they do something like you playing more than one character. I wanna play more than just one protagonist, TWD builds off with multiple protagonists all the time, with one being the main (rick, lee, clem, etc etc.) But just playing as the main in a zombie apocalypse can sometimes get a bit one dimensional, getting the perspective from other peoples eyes can be fun and challenging sometimes.

This was a strong case for me going from S1 as Lee Everett, him dying (as if the main character dying in something wasn't enough) and then playing as Clementine in S2. Excluding 400 days.

Lets say we play as some random dude in the beginning of S2, and then as it progresses we go into playing as Clem maybe? I don't know, it would be better than doing the stereotypical opening with you playing as someone and they are all ok and stuff. I want something completely new.

  • No, Lee is 100% dead and there is no cure for the walker disease, if there was we wouldn't still be living in a walker infested world after 2 years.

  • Here's a thought. Let's say Season 3 has Clem as the only PC. What if all the different story lines met up at a common point but with different perspectives? For example, one ending would have Clem with a certain group and see others as dangerous, another could have the groups swapped, and another would have Clem by herself seeing everyone as suspicious. It blurs the lines between allies and friends and make no real clear and/or obvious antagonist.

  • nah, 2 much work 4 'em

  • I think that season 3 will have certain things that make it less "Cinematic" and more game -like. Season 1 felt like a video game TV show and season 2 felt like TV video game. Make interactions with the envoirment.

  • Still a great pic,even if it's a fake :)

  • I'd hope it'd go back to the exploration days of Season 1. It always felt like there was so much to inspect in the environments. Took me back to the good old days of Resident Evil and a couple of older titles with that mechanic of 'let's read the character's thoughts about this particular object'.

  • As I said previously, Telltale is deliberately aiming to make their games more cinematic and less like a typical game. Don't get me wrong - I'd definitely love for more meaningful hub areas to return as well, but I really don't think that Telltale is going to go out of their way to add more traditional game elements is what I'm getting at. They've been trying to simplify their games a few years before Walking Dead: Season 1, even.

  • Haven't seen this one in a long time. It's an awesome picture and it fooled a bunch of people into thinking it was real, when really it was made by fan who was excited for the game. Whoever did create this had done a good job tricking people...including me.
