''I would prefer to stay here,i will help you to protect Talia,and the smallfolk'' Megan said,and Rodrik sighed. He started at the ground for a couple of seconds ''I understand,you don't want to be in enemy lands,go see if your father can make you do something useful. And don't worry about Talia,Mark is taking care of her.'' Rodrik coldly says and gestures Megan away,clearly disappointed by the poor choice she just made. Megan exits the castle and sees Duncan by the barracks,saddling two horses ''Father! Rodrik said you could have some tasks for me.'' Megan says in a saddened tone ''Yes i have! Is something bothering you,Megan?'' Duncan asks her daughter ''I think i might have angered Rodrik'' She says briefly,and Duncan throws his arm in the air in a shocked motion ''What have you done?!'' He asked with a shocked face ''He asked me if i could work as a spy in House Whitehill...and i refused him.'' She says,and both of them fall silent. ''You should have obeyed him.'' Duncan says,crossing his arms,breaking the silence ''Father! It's too dangerous! What if they-'' ''IT IS YOUR DUTY TO HOUSE FORRESTER! YOU SHOULD HAVE OBEYED HIM!'' Duncan yelled,and Megan looked down to the ground. Her father never yelled at her,but this time he did,and it left Megan heartbroken. ''We are going to the Wall to pay a visit to Gared.'' Duncan says,and Megan's face turns from sad to happy. She smiles widely ''WE GET TO SEE GARED! THANK YOU!'' She says,trying to hug Duncan,but he steps away and on his horse. ''We have to go now,we don't have much time'' Duncan says,grasping a map of some kind under his armor. Megan knew the reason of this meeting was something major,but she is an honest person,she didn't want to know what. ''Let's go then.'' She says and smiles,she gets on her horse,and Duncan starts to gallop towards the gates. She does so too,and she turns around to see Rodrik standing outside of his castle. She waves at him but she just stares back at her. Megan found it hard to find emotion in that gaze. She then starts to gallop faster ''Let's see whose horse is the faster!'' She says while galloping faster,towards the Wall,to see her cousin again.
They galloped for two days,stopping at various northern inns for the night. ''These beds are hard'' Megan thought while sleeping in those northern beds ''This inn is decaying'' Megan thought,stopping at one of the many northern inns for a drink with Duncan ''These man are grizzly'' She thought,looking at a group of northeners drinking horns of ale. In those days she came to a conclusion,that the North is a hard place,very different from the South,or Essos. She read books about the North,but no scribbled page could resemble the North at it's Truest. For how hostile it looked,and how sharp the cold was,Megan felt safe in the North. A sense of security and relax that even the finest Southern Castles,the warmest Southern breeze couldn't match. She was fiddling with the reins of her horse when Duncan yelled to her ''WE ARE GETTING CLOSER!'' He says,with excitement. She got excited,and started to gallop faster,but slowed down when the sharp cold torn off some skin from her hands. They were in front of the great gates of Castle Black,which were opened by a young looking man. He greeted Duncan,and he ran in the yard of Castle Black,he then stopped when he saw Gared,and hugged him. Megan started sprint to him,but the man stopped her ''I am Thomas Waters,a ranger of the Night's Watch,welcome to Castle Black,don't cause any trouble'' Thomas said and walked in the yard. Megan eyed Gared and Duncan,and saw Duncan take out his secret map from his armor,and show it to Gared. ''Should i greet Gared now? Maybe i can find out what the map is'' Megan thinks

[Greet Gared later,ask for the map] and [Brandon Thomas and Kevin's] The book is going on really well, I like how you tie in chapters well with past chapters as well with other characters and POVs. This chapter in particular is interesting, especially with Duncan reprimanding Megan. Maybe he also feels some guilt about sending Gared to away without telling Ethan, but seeing his daughter make a similar kind of choice could make him mad. My days been good, I actually also woke up recently. I didn't know about your other thread, what a great way to hone your skills as a writer! Chocolate or Chips? Well I like Chocolate Chips, but that is technically just small pieces of chocolate.

Megan walked over to where Gared and Duncan were talking,as soon as Gared saw her his eyes widened,and he went to hug her ''COUSIN MEGAN! I MISSED YOU!'' He said with a surprised face and Megan hugged him back ''I missed you too Gared!'' She says,and caresses his hair. Her gaze then fixates on the map,she then pulls away from the hug and gets the map ''What's this?'' Duncan's eyes widen,and then they roll. He knew he had been discovered ''A page from our Lord's journal. But one he tore out...Why i don't know'' Duncan says,his voice lower than a whisper,Megan gets closer to him,she already knew of the North Grove,she was one of the few who knew it,but the map caught her attention anyway ''Talia gave me this,it could be the key to solving the map!'' Gared said,taking his necklace off. He then started to look at the necklace ''There's a clasp!'' ''It must open!'' Gared opened the necklace to find that the inside of the necklace was the painting of a weirwood. He then put the open necklace over the weirwood drawn on the map. ''A perfect fit.'' Gared says,and then he puts the necklace over a river,but he doesn't see nothing. ''Megan have you got any clue?'' Gared asks Megan,who shrugs. He looks at the map for another minute ''It's the whole map that has to turn!'' Gared says,and he turns the map 90 degrees to the left,and he sees that another weirwood is formed by the necklace,and the river's scribbled waves. ''Wherever this must be,the North Grove should be near it.'' Gared states ''I know that it's too riskful to ask you,believe me,i wouldn't if i had another way.'' Duncan starts,Gared turns to him ''You must find the North Grove,go North of the Wall.'' Duncan says,and Gared's eyes widen ''That would be deserting the Night's Watch.'' He says,and Duncan sighs ''I know that this is hard for you,but you must do it for the good of House Forrester'' He says,and Gared nods ''I will find the North Grove,uncle. I won't let you down'' Gared says,determined. Duncan chuckles ''You're the son i never had.'' He said to Gared,who smiled and hugged his uncle. ''I'm going with you.'' Megan said to Gared ''No you aren't,Megan!'' Duncan says and pulls away from Gared ''Yes i am! Rodrik ordered me to be useful,and this is my duty to House Forrester'' Duncan's face saddens ''But Megan,no...-'' ''I should have obeyed to Rodrik when he ordered me to become a spy of his,i didn't. I won't make the same mistake again'' Megan said,her face determined,to serve House Forrester,and Lord Rodrik. Duncan's eyes are filled with sadness,but pride. The most important people in his life were standing in front of him,and he knew they loved him very much. That's why he smiled ''I hear you.'' He says,and before going away,he kisses his daughter on the top of his head ''Gared will protect you,be safe please.'' He said,and Megan smiled ''I will,do not worry'' She reassured him ''I will be going now,stay safe!'' Duncan said,before stepping out of Castle Black,Gared waved at him one last time,Duncan waved back and got on his horse,and galloped away,to Ironrath. ''I hope he will tell Rodrik about this'' Megan told Gared ''Why?'' Gared asked her ''I disobeyed Rodrik,but it was a mistake'' She answered him briefly. Gared could see that she was still kicking herself for that,so he changed the subject. ''Tomorrow we will go to Craster's Keep!'' Gared said ''Can i come too?'' ''I'm afraid not,just stay here in Castle Black'' ''What if these men break their VOWS?'' Megan says,and Gared sighs ''You are right,i can't leave you here.'' ''So that settles it then?'' ''Yes,you can come.'' ''Yes! I can't wait to be North of the Wall. The Real North,the wildlings call it!'' Gared nods,and he escorts her to Castle Black,unseen by Frostfinger's watchful eye. ''You'll sleep here,you'll find me in the yard,tomorrow morning'' Gared said,escorting her to a small storage room. Megan looks around,only to find a crumpled up bed in a small room. ''I know it's not much...'' Gared trails off ''This is more northern than all the inns i've slept in!'' Megan says,remembering the decaying places. Gared lets out a small laugh,and by the time Megan settled in,it was evening. She decided to undress herself and get some sleep,to recover from the exhausting journey she just faced. Little did she know,that the journey she had ahead of her was much more exhausting,and that this night her cousin would've had a faithful encounter.
She woke up the next morning with a back ache,she slowly got up ''I am becoming a northener'' She says,and she chuckles to herself. She picks up her surcoat and light padded armor,and dresses herself. Her armor allowed her to move fast,and soften crushing blows. It was one of her favourite's. She exits the small storage room,making sure not to be seen,and she steps closer to the castle's door,when she smells burning meat. It was a rancid odour and it almost made her puke. She peeked out of the door to see a Pyre ''Someone must have died,and they are keeping them from coming back'' She thinks. She studied a lot about the North,and it paid off. She then saw her cousin with his hands bound. The man who called himself Frostfinger put Gared into another small shed ''The axeman will find his way soon enough!'' He said before slamming his door,and locking him in the shed. ''He is in trouble!'' She gasps,and she closes the door. She had to get him out of that shed ''I will wait for the night'' But how she could spend the daytime? She gets back to her room but she sees Jon Snow cleaning one of the many tables in the canteen of Castle Black ''Should i go talk to him? I must tell him i am an ally of House Stark.'' She thinks ''But someone could be watching him,i was told he wasn't liked here.'' She then made up her mind...

Merrik hesitated,but he exited the small wooden house in which he was guarding the place. His eyes met Sylvi's,and Merrik shivered ''Her eyes never changed...'' He trailed off,staring into her light blue eyes,they almost were bright white. He rubbed his hands together and he gripped his bow,then he started to walk towards the woods. Sylvi walked towards him and they were face to face,in the deep woods. ''Thank you for not shooting me'' She says ''I'm Sylvi'' She stretches her arm forward,shaking Merrik's hand ''I know you,i've heard stories of you.'' She then immediately glares at him ''The White Tree community had no right to kick me out of my village'' She says,and Merrik nods ''I know,i don't understand why they did,but they made a mistake'' He says,sweetly. She smiles,surprised ''Thank you'' She says. The two start to walk in the deep woods ''Where do you live since they kicked you out of the community?'' Merrik asks,out of curiosity ''In the wild. This is the life i'm doing since i was a kid.'' She says,and looks down at the ground. ''Wow,i've been out here for just a couple of hours and i am already exhausted.'' Merrik says,and she embraces her spear ''You'll get used to it. Your village knows that you're out here?'' Sylvi asks Merrik,who nods ''Yes,they told me that they saw you around our village,so they sent me here,i should be capturing you'' Merrik says,and Sylvi winks at him ''I guess you won't be returning to your village soon.'' She says ''What are you sa-'' Sylvi hit Merrik on the head with the back of her spear,knocking him out instantly.
When Merrik awoke from his deep slumber,he saw Sylvi dragging him. He got up instantly,and noticed that Sylvi was taking him to a small tent camp ''Wh- WHERE ARE WE?!'' Merrik yelled at Sylvi ''This is my place,now you'll be under my command and rules. If you try to run off,i will cut both of your legs. You don't like the idea,do you?'' Sylvi said to him,smiling. She knew he wasn't going to run off,so she wanted to play around with him. ''How did you drag me here? I am not that scrawny!'' Merrik said,and Sylvi threw her arms in the air ''I guess i am quite the strong girl.'' She says and walks over to the small unlit campfire ''I need you to get a branch,to start a fire'' ''How am i supposed to get you a branch?'' Sylvi rolls her eyes ''WE ARE SURROUNDED BY TREES! SNAP IT OFF OF ONE OF THEM!'' She yells to Merrik and he runs off to a tree,he tries to snap the branch but it's too sturdy,he then takes out the shortsword he brought with him and cuts off the branch,then he walks over to Sylvi and gives her the branch ''Thanks. I assure you that by the time you will get back to your village,you will know how to ''survive'' '' Sylvi looks at Merrik and smiles ''So...i will go back to my village?'' Sylvi nods ''When i know you won't tell anyone about me.'' She says,and picks the branch up,and starts to strike it with another branch,to create a fire ''I understand. I might as well go hunting for some food'' Merrik says,and when Sylvi lights up the fire,he looks at him surprised ''You know how to hunt?'' ''Yes i do. I have a great aim too. Do you want to see?'' Merrik says and takes out his bow,and Sylvi gets up from the ground and follows him ''Let's not go too far'' Sylvi whispers,and Merrik nods. They walk for a couple of minutes when they see a small bunny far from them. ''We have to get clos-'' Merrik shoots an arrow and kills the bunny,the arrow now stuck in his throat. ''You're not a shit shot,at least!'' Sylvi smiles,she didn't want to admit that he had a great shot. The two go get the bunny and they get back to the small tent camp. Merrik sits by the fire,and puts his hands close to it. ''It's too cold here.'' Merrik says,but he knew that he couldn't do nothing about it ''Maybe i could get you in the village again and you'll have the satisfaction of sleeping somewhere warm!'' Merrik jokes,but Sylvi's face is serious ''Don't talk about that'' ''Right,sorry.'' He says and looks down at the ground. ''You should cook this bunny.'' Merrik said to Sylvi and got up ''No,you need to learn.'' She says,and gives him the bunny. ''What would you do now?'' Sylvi asks him ''Skin it'' ''Right,do'' Sylvi says and gives him a small knife,he then starts to separate the skin of the bunny from his meat. He tears off a piece of meat from the bunny,but he skins it all anyways. ''Not bad for a first try!'' Sylvi said,and stuck the two branches that she used before in the ground,on the sides of the fire,then she snapped another one off a tree and put it on the two branches. ''Give me the skin you cut off.'' She says,and Merrik gives it to her. She cuts off two long strips and hangs them on the branch,then she hung the bunny over the fire,the two strips of skin holding it's legs and head. ''The skin will melt.'' Merrik says ''The meat will cook faster than the skin,we will be able to get it off,don't worry'' She reassured him ''If you are tired,go in one tent,get some rest. I'll come to bring you some food,later'' She said and Merrik went over to a tent,when he entered,he felt the less cold air and he felt relief washing over him. He saw a small bed with heavy blankets,and what seemed to be a heavy fur coat. He laid down on the bed,and pulled the covers over his head,his body was feeling warm. His eyelids felt heavier,and he eventually fell into a deep dream. Merrik sees a white wolf with light blue eyes,alongside a cub,being kicked away by a pack of brown wolves. They were snapping their teeth at the white wolf,who took the cub in her mouth and ran towards Merrik. The wolf was howling and the cub was yelping. ''YOU'VE DOOMED US!'' The wolf spoke to the brown wolves,what disturbed Merrik the most,was that the wolf had Sylvi's voice. ''MERRIK! HEY!'' Merrik then woke up to see Sylvi shaking him. His eyes were sore,almost as if they rolled in the back of his head ''You are a warg! You are special!'' Sylvi shouts to Merrik. Then Merrik gets up and Sylvi grabs both of his shoulders and looks in his eyes ''What did you see?''

Largonis asks her ''The reason you've been called here in King's Landing is because the Crown needs you.'' Largonis shrugs,he knew the reason why he was called,but he learned over the course of the years, 'not to know anything'. ''The king has asked for someone to teach him the basics of sword fight. I trust you with this task,cousin. You teached...Joffrey,but he never learned,Tommen could be different.'' Cersei says,smiling to her cousin. ''I will,Cersei.'' Cersei smiles and thanks Largonis ''Come inside,you'll be sleeping in the Red Keep's finest rooms.'' She says,while walking towards the castle's rooms. ''I thank you for your warm welcome,your grace. I will do everything in my power to help Tommen with his sword skills.'' He said,and he meant it. He wanted to prove to his family that he wasn't just a 'Long Lost Cousin' but someone important. ''And i hope Tommen will learn.'' The two then stay quiet,a heavy silence. Cersei then opens the door to Largonis' room,which was right next to Tommen's. She then looks down at the ground ''I miss him.'' She says,her voice cracking ''I am deeply sorry about what happened,Cersei. I hope you will catch who did this.'' He says,and bows. She then hugs him and cries softly in his chest. He knew she was dangerous,and hated by all of King's Landing,but she is a strong woman,and Largonis hoped to help her. She then wiped off her tears,her voice returned to normal ''Enjoy King's Landing,Largonis. Because you'll soon start to see it's flaws.'' She then walks off,leaving Largonis to his room. He entered and saw that the room was pretty big: It had a small table at the center,and a few chairs,a big bed and he could see all King's Landing from his room. ''The fortunes of being a Lannister'' He chuckled to himself,and sat down on a chair. He took off his armor and dressed with a dark red surcoat,with the Lannister lion on the front. He then laid on the bed and slept for some hours.
When he woke up he thought about having a first lesson with Tommen ,he got up and dressed with a heavy golden chainmail armor,and he walked to Tommen's room. He knocked on his door and the young king opened it,he rubbed his eyes and stared lazily at Largonis ''Welcome to King's Landing,cousin. My mother said you would be my teacher,and that i should be glad. I would like to start my first lesson now,if you don't mind.'' He said ''You are polite,i like that. Can i come in?'' Tommen nodded and held the door open for him,then he went over to a sword rack and grabbed a sword. Largonis unsheathed his,a shining longsword,with the golden hilt. ''First lesson is,hold your sword with only one hand.'' Largonis said to Tommen,who was wielding a shortsword with two hands. ''It's too heavy.'' ''You'll grow muscles. Now,hold your sword with one hand.'' He said,and Tommen followed his advice. ''I dare you to strike me.'' Largonis then challenged Tommen. Tommen walked around and then he lunged at Largonis,who easily parried ''WHAT!? HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?'' Tommen yelled ''It's good to run around,but your eyes betrayed you,they were looking at the target long before your hands could act.'' Largonis said,and he wondered what was sharper: His sword,or his words,but it was probably the former. ''Try again!'' Largonis said,and Tommen started to walk around Largonis,looking at him in the eyes. Largonis now couldn't read his eyes. Tommen then swung his sword at Largonis,who still parried. ''Now it's perfect!'' ''How come i didn't hit you?'' ''I have more experience than you.'' ''Well,it's true,but-'' Tommen then swung his sword again at him ''Again,i have more experience than you,these little tricks don't fool me anymore.'' He said,parrying Tommen's sword perfectly. ''You always fight with your free hand behind your back?'' Tommen asks ''When i know i am more experienced than who i'm fighting.'' ''You really are a true knight'' Largonis knew it as well,to give a chance to the weaker,to always equal the chances. ''I am glad that my mother sent you as my teacher,i will let her know that.'' Tommen said,and swung at him. Largonis parried ''Third lesson,parry my shot.'' Tommen prepared himself and Largonis swung at him,Tommen parried but his sword fell from his hands ''You need to have a solid grip on your sword,or that is going to happen.'' Tommen picks up his sword ''Try again.'' Largonis then lunges at him and Tommen parries the shot,then he swings his sword at Largonis. Largonis dodges the sword ''Good! Keep at it!'' He said and slashed towards Tommen,who was clumsily dodging the shots. Then Largonis lunges at him and Tommen's sword falls from his hand,and Largonis holds his sword to his throat ''This is a good first time,you actually parried my shot one time.'' Largonis said and shook Tommen's hand. ''I will tell mother of you!'' Tommen said before Largonis exits the room,he bows at Tommen then goes to his rooms.
Largonis passes the rest of the morning drinking dornish wine and bedding a whore that was sent to his room. He was caressing her hair when someone came knocking on the door. He got up and dressed himself,then he opened the door. ''Cousin,Tommen has told me of your great skill. I am surprised!'' Cersei says,and smiles at him ''It's a great honor to teach the King how to fight.'' He said,and Cersei entered his room,not caring about the whore on his bed ''I want to reward you for accepting to come here.'' Largonis' eyes widened ''What would you like to have?'' Cersei asks,getting a cup of wine from his table...

Okay, I just binge read all of the previous chapters, and my lord. I think I'm addicted.
In all seriousness though, I absolutely love this story! The characters and everything are so fantastic. I'm so excited to finally get to see the POV of a Lannister, this is surely going to be a hell of a ride. Honestly, I don't even know which choice is the best. I mean, after all it's Cersei, and she's very unpredictable. Loved this chapter a lot though!

''I would prefer to stay here,i will help you to protect Talia,and the smallfolk'' Megan said,and Rodrik sighed. He started at the ground for a couple of seconds ''I understand,you don't want to be in enemy lands,go see if your father can make you do something useful. And don't worry about Talia,Mark is taking care of her.'' Rodrik coldly says and gestures Megan away,clearly disappointed by the poor choice she just made. Megan exits the castle and sees Duncan by the barracks,saddling two horses ''Father! Rodrik said you could have some tasks for me.'' Megan says in a saddened tone ''Yes i have! Is something bothering you,Megan?'' Duncan asks her daughter ''I think i might have angered Rodrik'' She says briefly,and Duncan throws his arm in the air in a shocked motion ''What have you done?!'' He asked with a shocked face ''He asked me if i could work as a spy in House Whitehill...and i refused him.'' She says,and both of them fall silent. ''You should have obeyed him.'' Duncan says,crossing his arms,breaking the silence ''Father! It's too dangerous! What if they-'' ''IT IS YOUR DUTY TO HOUSE FORRESTER! YOU SHOULD HAVE OBEYED HIM!'' Duncan yelled,and Megan looked down to the ground. Her father never yelled at her,but this time he did,and it left Megan heartbroken. ''We are going to the Wall to pay a visit to Gared.'' Duncan says,and Megan's face turns from sad to happy. She smiles widely ''WE GET TO SEE GARED! THANK YOU!'' She says,trying to hug Duncan,but he steps away and on his horse. ''We have to go now,we don't have much time'' Duncan says,grasping a map of some kind under his armor. Megan knew the reason of this meeting was something major,but she is an honest person,she didn't want to know what. ''Let's go then.'' She says and smiles,she gets on her horse,and Duncan starts to gallop towards the gates. She does so too,and she turns around to see Rodrik standing outside of his castle. She waves at him but she just stares back at her. Megan found it hard to find emotion in that gaze. She then starts to gallop faster ''Let's see whose horse is the faster!'' She says while galloping faster,towards the Wall,to see her cousin again.
They galloped for two days,stopping at various northern inns for the night. ''These beds are hard'' Megan thought while sleeping in those northern beds ''This inn is decaying'' Megan thought,stopping at one of the many northern inns for a drink with Duncan ''These man are grizzly'' She thought,looking at a group of northeners drinking horns of ale. In those days she came to a conclusion,that the North is a hard place,very different from the South,or Essos. She read books about the North,but no scribbled page could resemble the North at it's Truest. For how hostile it looked,and how sharp the cold was,Megan felt safe in the North. A sense of security and relax that even the finest Southern Castles,the warmest Southern breeze couldn't match. She was fiddling with the reins of her horse when Duncan yelled to her ''WE ARE GETTING CLOSER!'' He says,with excitement. She got excited,and started to gallop faster,but slowed down when the sharp cold torn off some skin from her hands. They were in front of the great gates of Castle Black,which were opened by a young looking man. He greeted Duncan,and he ran in the yard of Castle Black,he then stopped when he saw Gared,and hugged him. Megan started sprint to him,but the man stopped her ''I am Thomas Waters,a ranger of the Night's Watch,welcome to Castle Black,don't cause any trouble'' Thomas said and walked in the yard. Megan eyed Gared and Duncan,and saw Duncan take out his secret map from his armor,and show it to Gared. ''Should i greet Gared now? Maybe i can find out what the map is'' Megan thinks

This chapter in particular is interesting, especially with Duncan reprimanding Megan. Maybe he also feels some guilt about sending Gared to away without telling Ethan, but seeing his daughter make a similar kind of choice could make him mad. My days been good, I actually also woke up recently. I didn't know about your other thread, what a great way to hone your skills as a writer! Chocolate or Chips? Well I like Chocolate Chips, but that is technically just small pieces of chocolate.

Megan's POV
Megan walked over to where Gared and Duncan were talking,as soon as Gared saw her his eyes widened,and he went to hug her ''COUSIN MEGAN! I MISSED YOU!'' He said with a surprised face and Megan hugged him back ''I missed you too Gared!'' She says,and caresses his hair. Her gaze then fixates on the map,she then pulls away from the hug and gets the map ''What's this?'' Duncan's eyes widen,and then they roll. He knew he had been discovered ''A page from our Lord's journal. But one he tore out...Why i don't know'' Duncan says,his voice lower than a whisper,Megan gets closer to him,she already knew of the North Grove,she was one of the few who knew it,but the map caught her attention anyway ''Talia gave me this,it could be the key to solving the map!'' Gared said,taking his necklace off. He then started to look at the necklace ''There's a clasp!'' ''It must open!'' Gared opened the necklace to find that the inside of the necklace was the painting of a weirwood. He then put the open necklace over the weirwood drawn on the map. ''A perfect fit.'' Gared says,and then he puts the necklace over a river,but he doesn't see nothing. ''Megan have you got any clue?'' Gared asks Megan,who shrugs. He looks at the map for another minute ''It's the whole map that has to turn!'' Gared says,and he turns the map 90 degrees to the left,and he sees that another weirwood is formed by the necklace,and the river's scribbled waves. ''Wherever this must be,the North Grove should be near it.'' Gared states ''I know that it's too riskful to ask you,believe me,i wouldn't if i had another way.'' Duncan starts,Gared turns to him ''You must find the North Grove,go North of the Wall.'' Duncan says,and Gared's eyes widen ''That would be deserting the Night's Watch.'' He says,and Duncan sighs ''I know that this is hard for you,but you must do it for the good of House Forrester'' He says,and Gared nods ''I will find the North Grove,uncle. I won't let you down'' Gared says,determined. Duncan chuckles ''You're the son i never had.'' He said to Gared,who smiled and hugged his uncle. ''I'm going with you.'' Megan said to Gared ''No you aren't,Megan!'' Duncan says and pulls away from Gared ''Yes i am! Rodrik ordered me to be useful,and this is my duty to House Forrester'' Duncan's face saddens ''But Megan,no...-'' ''I should have obeyed to Rodrik when he ordered me to become a spy of his,i didn't. I won't make the same mistake again'' Megan said,her face determined,to serve House Forrester,and Lord Rodrik. Duncan's eyes are filled with sadness,but pride. The most important people in his life were standing in front of him,and he knew they loved him very much. That's why he smiled ''I hear you.'' He says,and before going away,he kisses his daughter on the top of his head ''Gared will protect you,be safe please.'' He said,and Megan smiled ''I will,do not worry'' She reassured him ''I will be going now,stay safe!'' Duncan said,before stepping out of Castle Black,Gared waved at him one last time,Duncan waved back and got on his horse,and galloped away,to Ironrath. ''I hope he will tell Rodrik about this'' Megan told Gared ''Why?'' Gared asked her ''I disobeyed Rodrik,but it was a mistake'' She answered him briefly. Gared could see that she was still kicking herself for that,so he changed the subject. ''Tomorrow we will go to Craster's Keep!'' Gared said ''Can i come too?'' ''I'm afraid not,just stay here in Castle Black'' ''What if these men break their VOWS?'' Megan says,and Gared sighs ''You are right,i can't leave you here.'' ''So that settles it then?'' ''Yes,you can come.'' ''Yes! I can't wait to be North of the Wall. The Real North,the wildlings call it!'' Gared nods,and he escorts her to Castle Black,unseen by Frostfinger's watchful eye. ''You'll sleep here,you'll find me in the yard,tomorrow morning'' Gared said,escorting her to a small storage room. Megan looks around,only to find a crumpled up bed in a small room. ''I know it's not much...'' Gared trails off ''This is more northern than all the inns i've slept in!'' Megan says,remembering the decaying places. Gared lets out a small laugh,and by the time Megan settled in,it was evening. She decided to undress herself and get some sleep,to recover from the exhausting journey she just faced. Little did she know,that the journey she had ahead of her was much more exhausting,and that this night her cousin would've had a faithful encounter.
She woke up the next morning with a back ache,she slowly got up ''I am becoming a northener'' She says,and she chuckles to herself. She picks up her surcoat and light padded armor,and dresses herself. Her armor allowed her to move fast,and soften crushing blows. It was one of her favourite's. She exits the small storage room,making sure not to be seen,and she steps closer to the castle's door,when she smells burning meat. It was a rancid odour and it almost made her puke. She peeked out of the door to see a Pyre ''Someone must have died,and they are keeping them from coming back'' She thinks. She studied a lot about the North,and it paid off. She then saw her cousin with his hands bound. The man who called himself Frostfinger put Gared into another small shed ''The axeman will find his way soon enough!'' He said before slamming his door,and locking him in the shed. ''He is in trouble!'' She gasps,and she closes the door. She had to get him out of that shed ''I will wait for the night'' But how she could spend the daytime? She gets back to her room but she sees Jon Snow cleaning one of the many tables in the canteen of Castle Black ''Should i go talk to him? I must tell him i am an ally of House Stark.'' She thinks ''But someone could be watching him,i was told he wasn't liked here.'' She then made up her mind...

Merrik hesitated,but he exited the small wooden house in which he was guarding the place. His eyes met Sylvi's,and Merrik shivered ''Her eyes never changed...'' He trailed off,staring into her light blue eyes,they almost were bright white. He rubbed his hands together and he gripped his bow,then he started to walk towards the woods. Sylvi walked towards him and they were face to face,in the deep woods. ''Thank you for not shooting me'' She says ''I'm Sylvi'' She stretches her arm forward,shaking Merrik's hand ''I know you,i've heard stories of you.'' She then immediately glares at him ''The White Tree community had no right to kick me out of my village'' She says,and Merrik nods ''I know,i don't understand why they did,but they made a mistake'' He says,sweetly. She smiles,surprised ''Thank you'' She says. The two start to walk in the deep woods ''Where do you live since they kicked you out of the community?'' Merrik asks,out of curiosity ''In the wild. This is the life i'm doing since i was a kid.'' She says,and looks down at the ground. ''Wow,i've been out here for just a couple of hours and i am already exhausted.'' Merrik says,and she embraces her spear ''You'll get used to it. Your village knows that you're out here?'' Sylvi asks Merrik,who nods ''Yes,they told me that they saw you around our village,so they sent me here,i should be capturing you'' Merrik says,and Sylvi winks at him ''I guess you won't be returning to your village soon.'' She says ''What are you sa-'' Sylvi hit Merrik on the head with the back of her spear,knocking him out instantly.
When Merrik awoke from his deep slumber,he saw Sylvi dragging him. He got up instantly,and noticed that Sylvi was taking him to a small tent camp ''Wh- WHERE ARE WE?!'' Merrik yelled at Sylvi ''This is my place,now you'll be under my command and rules. If you try to run off,i will cut both of your legs. You don't like the idea,do you?'' Sylvi said to him,smiling. She knew he wasn't going to run off,so she wanted to play around with him. ''How did you drag me here? I am not that scrawny!'' Merrik said,and Sylvi threw her arms in the air ''I guess i am quite the strong girl.'' She says and walks over to the small unlit campfire ''I need you to get a branch,to start a fire'' ''How am i supposed to get you a branch?'' Sylvi rolls her eyes ''WE ARE SURROUNDED BY TREES! SNAP IT OFF OF ONE OF THEM!'' She yells to Merrik and he runs off to a tree,he tries to snap the branch but it's too sturdy,he then takes out the shortsword he brought with him and cuts off the branch,then he walks over to Sylvi and gives her the branch ''Thanks. I assure you that by the time you will get back to your village,you will know how to ''survive'' '' Sylvi looks at Merrik and smiles ''So...i will go back to my village?'' Sylvi nods ''When i know you won't tell anyone about me.'' She says,and picks the branch up,and starts to strike it with another branch,to create a fire ''I understand. I might as well go hunting for some food'' Merrik says,and when Sylvi lights up the fire,he looks at him surprised ''You know how to hunt?'' ''Yes i do. I have a great aim too. Do you want to see?'' Merrik says and takes out his bow,and Sylvi gets up from the ground and follows him ''Let's not go too far'' Sylvi whispers,and Merrik nods. They walk for a couple of minutes when they see a small bunny far from them. ''We have to get clos-'' Merrik shoots an arrow and kills the bunny,the arrow now stuck in his throat. ''You're not a shit shot,at least!'' Sylvi smiles,she didn't want to admit that he had a great shot. The two go get the bunny and they get back to the small tent camp. Merrik sits by the fire,and puts his hands close to it. ''It's too cold here.'' Merrik says,but he knew that he couldn't do nothing about it ''Maybe i could get you in the village again and you'll have the satisfaction of sleeping somewhere warm!'' Merrik jokes,but Sylvi's face is serious ''Don't talk about that'' ''Right,sorry.'' He says and looks down at the ground. ''You should cook this bunny.'' Merrik said to Sylvi and got up ''No,you need to learn.'' She says,and gives him the bunny. ''What would you do now?'' Sylvi asks him ''Skin it'' ''Right,do'' Sylvi says and gives him a small knife,he then starts to separate the skin of the bunny from his meat. He tears off a piece of meat from the bunny,but he skins it all anyways. ''Not bad for a first try!'' Sylvi said,and stuck the two branches that she used before in the ground,on the sides of the fire,then she snapped another one off a tree and put it on the two branches. ''Give me the skin you cut off.'' She says,and Merrik gives it to her. She cuts off two long strips and hangs them on the branch,then she hung the bunny over the fire,the two strips of skin holding it's legs and head. ''The skin will melt.'' Merrik says ''The meat will cook faster than the skin,we will be able to get it off,don't worry'' She reassured him ''If you are tired,go in one tent,get some rest. I'll come to bring you some food,later'' She said and Merrik went over to a tent,when he entered,he felt the less cold air and he felt relief washing over him. He saw a small bed with heavy blankets,and what seemed to be a heavy fur coat. He laid down on the bed,and pulled the covers over his head,his body was feeling warm. His eyelids felt heavier,and he eventually fell into a deep dream. Merrik sees a white wolf with light blue eyes,alongside a cub,being kicked away by a pack of brown wolves. They were snapping their teeth at the white wolf,who took the cub in her mouth and ran towards Merrik. The wolf was howling and the cub was yelping. ''YOU'VE DOOMED US!'' The wolf spoke to the brown wolves,what disturbed Merrik the most,was that the wolf had Sylvi's voice. ''MERRIK! HEY!'' Merrik then woke up to see Sylvi shaking him. His eyes were sore,almost as if they rolled in the back of his head ''You are a warg! You are special!'' Sylvi shouts to Merrik. Then Merrik gets up and Sylvi grabs both of his shoulders and looks in his eyes ''What did you see?''

''Ser Largonis! The king asks for you.'' A messenger says to Largonis ''I must go now,at once.'' The messenger bowed to him and Largonis started to walk towards the Red Keep. He was the son of Kevan Lannister,barely someone in the Lannister Family,but he was the most truthful one. His little brothers Willem,and Martyn,were killed by Lord Karstark,and since then,he swore to hunt down every last one of them. He was the most skilled sword in his family,the only member of his family who beat him in a duel was Jaime Lannister,his cousin. He had a good relationship with his cousins,and he swore to protect them. He despised his brother Lancel,though,and he would do anything to throw a spanner in his works. He was calmly walking to the Red Keep,taking in the smells of King's Landing: The sweet spices that merchants were selling,the wines that some Kingsguard were drinking,the familiar warm breeze. He was raised in Casterly Rock,by his father Kevan. ''You seem to have talent'' His father always said ''But Father,Lancel is the eldest one!'' He always would answer ''I don't see the same light in him.'' His father always answered. This gave Largonis the right amount of confidence needed to become a good warrior and knight. He arrived at the Red Keep and he was greeted by his cousin Cersei,he hugged her ''Cersei! It's good to see you!'' ''It's good to see you too,cousin Largonis.'' ''So,what brings me here?'' Largonis asks her ''The reason you've been called here in King's Landing is because the Crown needs you.'' Largonis shrugs,he knew the reason why he was called,but he learned over the course of the years, 'not to know anything'. ''The king has asked for someone to teach him the basics of sword fight. I trust you with this task,cousin. You teached...Joffrey,but he never learned,Tommen could be different.'' Cersei says,smiling to her cousin. ''I will,Cersei.'' Cersei smiles and thanks Largonis ''Come inside,you'll be sleeping in the Red Keep's finest rooms.'' She says,while walking towards the castle's rooms. ''I thank you for your warm welcome,your grace. I will do everything in my power to help Tommen with his sword skills.'' He said,and he meant it. He wanted to prove to his family that he wasn't just a 'Long Lost Cousin' but someone important. ''And i hope Tommen will learn.'' The two then stay quiet,a heavy silence. Cersei then opens the door to Largonis' room,which was right next to Tommen's. She then looks down at the ground ''I miss him.'' She says,her voice cracking ''I am deeply sorry about what happened,Cersei. I hope you will catch who did this.'' He says,and bows. She then hugs him and cries softly in his chest. He knew she was dangerous,and hated by all of King's Landing,but she is a strong woman,and Largonis hoped to help her. She then wiped off her tears,her voice returned to normal ''Enjoy King's Landing,Largonis. Because you'll soon start to see it's flaws.'' She then walks off,leaving Largonis to his room. He entered and saw that the room was pretty big: It had a small table at the center,and a few chairs,a big bed and he could see all King's Landing from his room. ''The fortunes of being a Lannister'' He chuckled to himself,and sat down on a chair. He took off his armor and dressed with a dark red surcoat,with the Lannister lion on the front. He then laid on the bed and slept for some hours.
When he woke up he thought about having a first lesson with Tommen ,he got up and dressed with a heavy golden chainmail armor,and he walked to Tommen's room. He knocked on his door and the young king opened it,he rubbed his eyes and stared lazily at Largonis ''Welcome to King's Landing,cousin. My mother said you would be my teacher,and that i should be glad. I would like to start my first lesson now,if you don't mind.'' He said ''You are polite,i like that. Can i come in?'' Tommen nodded and held the door open for him,then he went over to a sword rack and grabbed a sword. Largonis unsheathed his,a shining longsword,with the golden hilt. ''First lesson is,hold your sword with only one hand.'' Largonis said to Tommen,who was wielding a shortsword with two hands. ''It's too heavy.'' ''You'll grow muscles. Now,hold your sword with one hand.'' He said,and Tommen followed his advice. ''I dare you to strike me.'' Largonis then challenged Tommen. Tommen walked around and then he lunged at Largonis,who easily parried ''WHAT!? HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?'' Tommen yelled ''It's good to run around,but your eyes betrayed you,they were looking at the target long before your hands could act.'' Largonis said,and he wondered what was sharper: His sword,or his words,but it was probably the former. ''Try again!'' Largonis said,and Tommen started to walk around Largonis,looking at him in the eyes. Largonis now couldn't read his eyes. Tommen then swung his sword at Largonis,who still parried. ''Now it's perfect!'' ''How come i didn't hit you?'' ''I have more experience than you.'' ''Well,it's true,but-'' Tommen then swung his sword again at him ''Again,i have more experience than you,these little tricks don't fool me anymore.'' He said,parrying Tommen's sword perfectly. ''You always fight with your free hand behind your back?'' Tommen asks ''When i know i am more experienced than who i'm fighting.'' ''You really are a true knight'' Largonis knew it as well,to give a chance to the weaker,to always equal the chances. ''I am glad that my mother sent you as my teacher,i will let her know that.'' Tommen said,and swung at him. Largonis parried ''Third lesson,parry my shot.'' Tommen prepared himself and Largonis swung at him,Tommen parried but his sword fell from his hands ''You need to have a solid grip on your sword,or that is going to happen.'' Tommen picks up his sword ''Try again.'' Largonis then lunges at him and Tommen parries the shot,then he swings his sword at Largonis. Largonis dodges the sword ''Good! Keep at it!'' He said and slashed towards Tommen,who was clumsily dodging the shots. Then Largonis lunges at him and Tommen's sword falls from his hand,and Largonis holds his sword to his throat ''This is a good first time,you actually parried my shot one time.'' Largonis said and shook Tommen's hand. ''I will tell mother of you!'' Tommen said before Largonis exits the room,he bows at Tommen then goes to his rooms.
Largonis passes the rest of the morning drinking dornish wine and bedding a whore that was sent to his room. He was caressing her hair when someone came knocking on the door. He got up and dressed himself,then he opened the door. ''Cousin,Tommen has told me of your great skill. I am surprised!'' Cersei says,and smiles at him ''It's a great honor to teach the King how to fight.'' He said,and Cersei entered his room,not caring about the whore on his bed ''I want to reward you for accepting to come here.'' Largonis' eyes widened ''What would you like to have?'' Cersei asks,getting a cup of wine from his table...

Okay, I just binge read all of the previous chapters, and my lord. I think I'm addicted.
In all seriousness though, I absolutely love this story! The characters and everything are so fantastic. I'm so excited to finally get to see the POV of a Lannister, this is surely going to be a hell of a ride. Honestly, I don't even know which choice is the best. I mean, after all it's Cersei, and she's very unpredictable. Loved this chapter a lot though!
Oh, and also, I submitted my own character. This is too cool to pass on!
