Commando Carol at her finest! Both Morgan and Carol were destroying the Wolves and were so boss in the process. It had a great transition from character development to chaos. Really loved this episode!
Also, that sniper or lookout SUCKED at his job! Sasha would have taken a lot of them down. It's no wonder how the wolves easily got in...
On an unrelated note to the episode, apparently Kirkman is writing the season 6 finale
Given the speed that they're going at, and given a certain casting call that came out earlier, I am almost 100% certain that someone's going to be batting 1000, if you know what I mean
How is it that Morgan was able to get back to the community + help out before Rick and the rest of the group could get there? Doesn't really make any sense.
Like I said. Morgan is there when the horn is blowing. Hes partly responsible for turning it off. He left right after Rick killed Carter and then the next scene when the horn blows clearly some time had passed.
Rick kills Carter, Tells morgan to go back
Next scene the horn blows (probably an hour or two AFTER morgan leaves). Michonne and Rick are together without morgan when the horn blows

[ORIN] 30s to mid 40s. A physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men. He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he’s a brilliant strategist, he’s pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful id, that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He’s truly one of the strongest personalities ever…
I mean come on, there just isn't anyone else that can fit that description.
How is it clear that any significant amount of time had passed between Carter dying and the horn going off? As far as the real time in the show itself, a couple of minutes had passed. They were back to back incidents. The scenery was more or less exactly the same. From what we could possibly tell as the viewers, it was a matter of minutes.
All things considered, it's not like they could have been that far apart, considering Rick's group could easily hear the horn. If they were a long ways away, there's pretty much no way they would have heard it as clear as they did, right?

I understand that's what you're trying to say, I'm just trying to tie the episodes together. We don't even know how far away everyone was from the community when the horn went off, other than the fact that Rick's group was close enough to easily hear it go off. Given that there didn't seem to be a transition last episode from Morgan parting ways with Rick to the horn going off, it's kind of hard to believe that Rick was so far behind Morgan that he couldn't even manage to arrive by the end of the episode. The continuity just seems off there. I mean.. was Morgan absolutely gunning for Alexandria even before the horn went off..? I just don't see how a 30+ minute gap could have been created.
Maybe I shouldn't be looking into so much, it just seemed like a weird episode overall.
Michonne says the exact words "Whatever that is, it's far." Also Rick tells Morgan "we have a good hour before we have to hand them off to Abraham and Daryl" so I'm assuming that good hour went by without us needing to see anything :P until the horn blows that is which I assume is enough time passed for Morgan to arrive just as its blowing.

Morgan ALWAYS sees someone get executed now that he's all "life is precious". First it was Pete, then it was carter, then he sees Carol point blank execute a wolf who is tied up and no longer a threat. Would of actually been smart to keep one alive for questioning but I guess she's in the "who gives a fuck who they are" mindset.
The wolves are much more threatening than the "DC scavengers". The guy who Morgan spared twice now said to him "we didn't choose". Leads me to believe that they are going to regroup outside and say "Nobody tell Negan shit, this didn't happen".
I also am pretty certain that the "Alpha Wolf" with the long hair is definitely alive.

I have to agree on them being more threatening. By this episode alone, I already like them a lot more than the scavengers. The scavengers really only served to die and bring the herd to Alexandria. The Wolves just ran in, killed a ton of Alexandrians, have helped further the development of a bunch of B-team characters + Morgan, and still helped bring the herd to Alexandria.
They've really only been in this episode, but they've already had a lot more of an impact than the scavengers ever did.

Holy shit! What an episode. Carol is my hero! Hoping Enid comes back, was pretty cool to get some backstory on her. And she does have a point, Alexandria needs to seriously tighten their defenses. Pretty ridiculous for the Wolves to pillage that easily.
EXACTLY! I honestly loved Holly in the comics (Assuming it's the same holly right now), I read Volume 7 on Friday just because, and the fact that they brought her in and outright killed her was un-fucking-believable.
Sadly, this is the first episode of the main TWD series I haven't enjoyed in a long time. (The last one being Season 4 Episode 6 and 7) This whole thing with Holly is stupid, Denise looks nothing like she did in the comics, Eugene was acting almost completely out of character, Carol has never been so stupid as to kill a hostage able to reveal some info, Morgan annoyed the shit out of me, the CGI with the Molotov made me laugh so hard, and just how the fuck did the Wolves even get in?!
Do we have nobody watching the gates in this show?! The Governor snuck up on them at the Prison twice because no one watched the gates, Carol took down Terminus because no one watched the fences, ALEXANDRIA FELL BECAUSE MOTHERFUCKERS DON'T KNOW HOW TO SHOOT OTHER SUSPICIOUS LOOKING MOTHER FUCKERS.
This episode was infuriating, annoying, downright ridiculous, and not required. However, I would have actually given it a pass if they had fucking killed Ron. I hate him so much, he's such a little fucking bitch about everything, and I hope some Walkers find their way to him, and Rick, Jessie, Michonne, Carl, or ANYBODY aren't around to save him. The fact that they're keeping him alive for this long is insane.
I'll give it a 3/10, and it only gets that much because of Carol's badassery, and Enid's interesting story and inspiring "JSS" thing. If Carol wasn't around and Enid had already left, I'd have given it a 1/10.
Sorry for this harsh review, I just felt infuriated with the whole damn episode.
I find it funny how Morgan was considered to be one of the fandom's most favourite character in the show, and people were excited to see him join the cast after several years once Season 6 came around.
Then we have an episode or two with him and suddenly people can't stand him now.

Writers...where did it all go so wrong?

But I'm saying that's how they got in, the majority of the fighters had gone, pretty much everyone else in the town is complacent and not on alert (why should they be aware they are worrying about pasta). They had only that one tower guard keeping lookout as everyone else was gone.

You know, I would love for you to tell me exactly where the joke is. It's a pretty fair comparison if you ask me. Plus, if you've heard any Walking Dead related news at all in the past few days you would know Andrew Lincoln said something about a side of Jessie we have yet to seen or her character going in a direction we're not expecting.

Well, maybe I exaggerated a bit with the amount who can't stand Morgan, but I did find it bizzare that we had this reaction:
"Woohoo! Morgan is alive and he's about to join Rick's group! Can't wait to see him in action when Season 6 comes."
One or two episode later and we have these two comment from the Walking Dead Forum:
"yea guys I'm REALLY starting to hate Morgan. I thought he would be the perfect compliment to Rick because of what we saw him do in earlier season. He's become a total bitch and a huge liability. He will get himself or other people in the community killed again because he refuses to slaughter the wolves. just sucks Rick was not around - he would have killed every one of the wolves, found out where they live and killed the remaining members by himself"
"So I guess the writers have decided to ruin the Morgan character like they did with Tyreese... They have turned Morgan into a complete ZA Idiot.....this is what they waited 5 year for...an Asshole? "
I mean good grief, when you have a fan-favourite side character turn into one of the more disliked character once they're upgraded to main character status, something has gone wrong with the writing.
WOW! This was a fantastic follow up to The Walking Dead Season 6 premiere. I wonder if Aaron will later admit that his lost backpack with photos inside at least partly led the Wolves into the camp.

Yeah I'm kinda disappointed too but I wouldn't say that I "cant stand him". He's my second favorite after Rick. Maybe a flashback episode could help us understand why Morgan changed so much.

ALL HAIL QUEEN CAROL!!! HOLY FUCK SHE"S BADASS!!!!!!
Rick told Morgan to head back after Carter died. When the horn blows clearly Morgan had already been gone for quite a while.
Both of those events happened at the very end of the episode.

Morgan sparing the dude again will come back to bite him when he escapes

hahahaha........
The long-haired guy? Maybe...If it's him then he escapes.
Probably but i see morgan finally breaking his role by killing him later
He is. Don't think they are saviors though probably the scavengers

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that gun will Ex-Machina it's way into the Season somehow.
The pictures were the ones what's his name showed to new groups.
Oh god, I'm praying that the writers don't fuck up his storyline in this season. He's one of the few characters left whom I find likeable.
Rest in peace Richards (the sniper on lookout), you went out in a blaze of glory.
Not really I mean Carl and Enid have snuck out plenty. It isn't that hard to climb the walls
