Episode Discussion 'Here's Not Here'

So 90 minutes long, Morgan focused, and maybe, just maybe, we'll get an answer to Glenn's fate.

And reminder, no talking about stuff from the spoiling dead.

  • Heard that it will partly be about Morgans past and stuff and how he got so ninja-like.

  • Starting now, hopefully it picks up the pace, I disliked the last few episodes for the most part

  • 90 Minutes (60 minus commercial time) of Lennie fucking James just doing his thing? I've been waiting 6 seasons for this shit.

  • Knew they were gonna go this route. He was a ruthless killer and now he doesn't kill because he is afraid he will start killing again or something like that

Kinda hoping the backstory stuff doesn't take the entire episode. I just don't really like it because there's absolutely no suspense about the character, because you know they survive.

  • Only episode I've disliked was the last episode. I loved it at first, but after multiple watches I noticed all the plot holes

  • This guy has electric ??

  • PROTECT THE GOAT

  • "What's your name"

    "Kill me"

"That's stupid, you should change it"

    10/10 writing.

So this whole episode is about a balding man teaching Morgan the art of the Ninja and Morgan trying to eat that goat.... ok then.

  • Anyone else notice that the bald guy who has Morgan in a cell is the barber from Gran Torino? When I realized that I was like "OMFG YES"

  • Also he played a couple serial killers on American Horror Story

  • American Horror Story

btw, that any good? People keep talking to me about it

Lol just tuned in and watched that whole convo between Morgan and that bald guy... then he let him out and Morgans like "Nope" and rushes him. Guessing this is the past otherwise Wat

  • What the hell is this Into The Badlands? It looks like a cross between a western and some kind of ninja action show lol. May give it a watch when it comes out

  • Pretty good, super graphic with stuff though.. and really weird sometimes. lol

  • What the hell Morgan. The hell man.

  • It has it's ups and downs, but I've really been loving the current season and the last season was decent. You can start from any season you want though. It's an anthology series so each season is a completely different story though there are a few small references to other seasons here and there

  • Also, judging by the beginning of this episode, it seems like Morgan didn't kill that Wolf guy after all. Pretty sure he's the one that's hearing this story from Morgan's mouth.

  • This is an okay episode, but I've never been a fan of the episodes that only feature one main character like The Governor or Beth episodes. Just kind of boring and takes you out of the mood because they always happen right after something big happens.

  • and that children

is how morgan got his stick

    fin.

  • This episode was really not what I wanted. I wanted to see what happened between the time Morgan and Rick parted ways and this point in the show. dissapointed.

  • Stan from Volcano! I finally remembered where I know the fat bald guy from. It was killing me.

  • Compared to the other episodes, it's boring. However, I still love this episode so far and find it pretty well written.

  • The 2 surprise guest on talking dead is John Caroll Lynch and the Goat. My sources have confirmed.

  • Deeeeeepppp

  • That was fucking dark.

Another unrelated comment, but just gotta say that Preacher trailer it looks freaking sweet.

(Oh also I hate that they are gonna kill off The psychiatrist. Lynch is such a good actor I wish he was a regular.)

  • Well, dat speech about that crazy guy was fucked up...

  • The episode itself is fine. I just question the placement of it. You really don't want to have a slow character building episode after an unresolved thriller like last week. It almost feels like this should been in Season 5 before Morgan got into the thick of things with Rick and company.

Also, what the fuck is an oatmeal burger?

  • "Here's not Here" on a rock

  • I KNEW HE WAS GOING TO DIE. I knew it. I KNEW IT I KNEW IT. I told myself many times.

  • They've done this before with The Governor mini arc a couple seasons ago and last season with the Beth mini arc. They always do these episodes at the worst time.

    Damn, I liked him.

  • Well duh. Was pretty obvious being he isn't with Morgan in the present.

  • True as hell though. There was absolutely no need for him to push Morgan, he could have simply pulled him...
