If you waste too much time in choosing betwwen carley and doug...

Will they both die and the story from there on is screwed?

  • They both die and it's game over. You respawn and get to choose again.

  • Both will die but you will restart from checkpoint and try to do the decision again.

  • Nope. It's a game over and you restart.

  • I let doug die because I was hoping Lee got to bang Carly,

  • WTF

  • No way. If Lee wanted a dude it would have been Larry... True his heart was weak... But he was big.... and strong.

  • could have fooled me with all the people who love playing a game as a little girl. Young women, or even adult women... alright... But guys who want to play as Clementine... Don't see the appeal but that's just me.

Well that truly is something and I intentionally let Carly die just to be different, because I knew you and about 80% of other players would had chosen to save the hot chick in distress cliche. Kind of funny when Lily thwarts that anticipated and popular romance agenda a couple episodes later. Hmm wonder if that is why she got left behind on the side of the road in so many play-throughs.

P.S. Also was because Doug appeared to be in the more grave danger at that decision moment.

I said women because I could understand why a woman, or especially a young woman wouldn't mind playing a young female character. Although I would not like to play a young male character either I could understand why some young men, or men wouldn't mind.

  • I saved Carly because my silly, obvious instincts are silly and obvious. But yeah, in hindsight, Doug was in way more danger.

  • I understand. You want to play as someone you can relate to. But all in all, it shouldn't matter. As long as it's a good story then I don't care who we play as. Most people on here didn't like playing as Clementine, but not because she was a girl.

  • I find her character limiting mostly because of age. She walks a very fine line between being a mature kid, and being too unreal because adults don't really put much weight into the opinion of someone so young. Playing an older character allows for more story possibilities. Romance, leading a group, making adult decisions that a child doesn't have the maturity to do ect.

  • I agree. She was also a bit boring but I still like her. Would you mind playing as an adult female?

  • I saved Carley because she had the gun, and I thought that she would save Doug. Sadly, I was wrong.
