  • That is the part that really got to me, she was my favorite POV :(

Watching Mira get beheaded is all too depressing.

  • Bowen appears during the battle at Ironrath.

I haven't read anything but question is Bowen and Erik in there.

I suppose at least 4 endings (let's imagine Mira will be not playable if she lives):
Asher retreats from Ironrath, battle is lost. Gared and company will come to help.
Rodrick retreats from Ironrath, battle is lost. Gared and company will come to help.
Asher retreats from Ironrath, battle is lost. Gared and company will not help.
Rodrick retreats from Ironrath, battle is lost. Gared and company will not help.
PS: I don't think marraige ending is possible, but I will test it soon.

If you have any ideas/info feel free to add more opinions.

I'm so confused with all the endings.. How many are there to each storyline?

  • That makes me so sad :(

Mira is my favorite playable character and we won't be able to play as her in season 2 if there's going to be one T_T

Goddamn it, Telltale ;-; So many feels in a single episode :'(

Well, you can watch Tom being beheaded instead :T I imagine that it is just as depressing though. What pisses me off is that we can't play as her anymore.

  • Yeah, I'm saving her just for the sake of knowing she is alive, which will put my mind at ease. But it sucks that we won't be able to play as her.

  • Yeah, but she will be Morgryn's slave. But I will save her, too because I really care about her :(

And looks like, the decisions were really hard to make on the finale... :|

  • I can think of worse people to be married to. Namely, Ramsay. And while she is alive, there is hope she can get out of it.

As I suggested before, playing as Morgryn on the next season would be pretty interesting. It would be like how I saw Jaime as a monster until he got his POVs. We could still have a cunning character playing the game in King's Landing, and could have either Mira show up on a few scenes, or another woman in her place if she died. We could pick how we treat her, and we can get Mira/other woman to kill him in the last episode depending on said treatment.

  • Actually, that would be pretty interesting. I would really love to see playing as him, even though he's a backstabbing arsehole :/

I would also play as some other of the Whitehills, like Gwyn for example. I actually want to know what happened to her x)

And a question for you: How much do you rate the finale actually, if you saw it?

  • Can't see that happen. "The Ice Dragon" revealed Morgryn as Mira's story arc main antagonist and I don't think we are going to play as him. No doubt, the Forresters are going to be the main characters again in Season 2, cause the ending was displayed in "to be continued" style.

  • I'm not really sure. I kinda liked Gwyn and she had her reasons to attack Asher... I mean, you pretty much killed her father by poisoning the wine. And I would do the same thing. Also, I can't hate Gwyn because she's been voice acted by Laura Bailey (who also voice acted as Fiona from Tales From the Borderlands) :(

I hope Gwyn will have painfull death.

  • 7/10, mainly for making Mira determinant, because that really pissed me off. I wanted to keep playing as her, and I feel like after so much neglect making her determinant was a pretty bad choice.

I enjoyed the rest of the episode though.

  • I don't know. I pretty much enjoyed the episode even with that choice. The thing that makes me upset is that Elissa may actually die no matter what you choose :| I rate it 9.2/10 but I still think episode 4 was the best episode of the series.

And I actually gave an extra 0.2 cuz of the "Too much gore" xD I mean... Cotter and... ew... just ew...

  • Mira may be dead for some players, but if Season 2 is a go, we'll most likely get to play Talia, which should somewhat redeem for her loss.

  • You see, if Mira had only got more screen time throughout the season, I wouldn't be so pissed off at that. But she didn't. She was absolutely neglected, and then someone decided making it impossible to play as her on the next season was a good idea.

Man, I really wanted to play as her in King's Landing as Cersei gets crazier with Tyrion's escape. I just hope they introduce another King's Landing POV or do something on the lines of what I suggested regarding Morgryn.

  • So is it the Traitor or the Sentinel who's with Rodrik/Asher at the end?

  • edited November 2015

The Mira choice was the most Game of Thrones-y part of the game so far. We've had painful choices (Asher/Rodrick still gets me), and we've had political choices with lasting consequences, but this was the first time that no matter how you justify your decision, the choice leads to awful consequences. It feels like the sort of thing GRRM himself would wince at playing.

My other thought is that god damn it's really nice to see the pitfighters kicking some Glenmore behind after all the buildup and disappointing performance at the ambush. Great to see that they're really as good as they claimed to be.
Really wondering how the mind control zombie stuff is going to play out in season 2, with Ironrath burned and the Foresters in ruins. Seems like it'd have made a big difference if he'd gotten there sooner, but now it's just too late.

  • It is a Sentinel if traitor is dead / Traitor if he is alive.

So is it the Traitor or the Sentinel who's with Rodrik/Asher at the end?

  • So, as I understand, there's absolutely no way to save Ironrath from being conquered by the Whitehills?

  • So what happens if you call the plan off and try to accept marrying Gwyn? Anyone know?

  • edited November 2015

I agree! Morgryn's behavior reminded me a lot of Littlefinger's behavior since the beginning, but now more than ever. I just wish that Mira's choice didn't make her determinant, as I would like to keep playing as her on the next season. That's really a shame.

The pitfighters did a great job too, but I wish that the conclusion was more... uhh... "conclusive". Yes. I mean, the end felt like any other episode's ending, not as a finale's ending, to me. Spoiled by Tales's ending? Maybe. Probably. Still gets a 7 out of 10 from me, which is much more than episode 5 got :)

  • I see, thank you.

Does the traitor get there sooner?

Well, it ends with Sentinel/Traitor and Talia approaching wounded Lord of Ironrath. Royland says ''We do not have much time!'', helps Lord to stand and then they walk away. Duncan says smth like: ''This battle is over, but not the war!''. And then black screen welcomes you.

  • When I saw UGamer's Rodrik playthrough, Traitor!Duncan had Rodrik up on his feet.

In UGamer's Asher playthrough, Sentinel!Royland just squatted down next to an unconscious Asher and started moving to pick him up.

I'm wondering if this difference is because of Rodrik/Asher (showing Rodrik's strength, like when he lifts his head a little more than Asher if left behind), or if it's because of Traitor/Sentinel (if the Traitor's alive he gets there faster)?

  • edited November 2015

I still think it is the second one.

UGamer used different safe files for different heroes. Gryff was beaten / not beaten, different Lords, some other small changes, but a Sentinel was the same - this fact made a conclusion for my previous post. But this detail can be a reason too. I will check this out just of curiousity.

  • The battle isn't lost I think they all have their silver-linings because Beskha, R/A, Talia, Ryon (Depending) and Traitor (Depending) survive to fight another day. maybe Mira.

  • Yes I really want to know if this choice exists.

  • TFTB's was lame not enough death in it.

I hope there will be one. I wanted another season for TFTB too, but that cliffhanger was so great, and they still have a lot of games on their plate. I'm way too hyped for MC:SM remained episodes right now! But, this game was aMAZing!

  • Did you romance her, or not???

Is there any way to save Elaena, or she goes into the fight anyway because why the fuck not.

  • As long as it is in King's Landing, it's all good for me. My only problem with the episode is that they made Mira determinant, and I really enjoyed playing the game in King's Landing.
