UGamer streams now alternative way - Mira said Yes to marry. I will upload Tom last words and any info about Mira's appearance in Episode 2 after this choice.
I love how the power of the North Grove wasn't so insane, it had just the amount of magic suitable for Game of Thrones unlike the theory of riding a Ice Dragon back to Ironrath.

I watched the walkthrough online - Mira's execution was the most depressing part. I do wonder though - in an alternative walkthrough where she agrees to marry Morgyrn, does she still die?

Goddamnit... I kept expecting something to pop up and save her, right to the moment the guy lifted his sword... I literally did not believe she would die. I can't believe her death was the one that shocked me the most. Man... I hope we'll get to play as Tom if we saved him. We can't just go through Season 2 not even having a King's Landing character. That scene was so depressing... My prediction on the playable characters in Season 2 is Rodrik/Asher, Mira/Tom, Beskha, Malcolm, and Gared. Although I was hoping there would be a new character introduced. All those guys seem to have evidence behind their being playable.
A shame , they couldn't held ironrath .back at castle back , a hundred rangers held the castle against hundreds of wildings .I actually tought the forresters could have won the battle , is it possible for eleana to actually get out of ironrath ?
Same here. With this at least the immediate threat of execution is avoided and maybe she can find a way to deal with Morgryn later after marrying him... who am I kidding, she's a determinant character now, which means she's going to die in Season 2 Episode 1, whenever that comes out...
Still sad that the only way to save her is to sacrifice Tom, but its still can easier decision than the Episode 5 finale.
It seems like she doesn't, no. Tom dies instead.
But consider Morgryn's terms. She will be stuck in a horribly abusive relationship.
(I'm still saving her)
She might survive, I think she just won't show up anymore. And of course she is not going to be playable on season 2, and that really bothers me more than her death. She might be mentioned here and there, but that's all.
Morgryn is pretty much locking her up and using her as a babymaker, so she is out of scene either way.

I can agree with you. I like how Duncan pointed this out and use this in my answer before:
''They may have won this battle. But they will not win the war.''
The battle isn't lost I think they all have their silver-linings because Beskha, R/A, Talia, Ryon (Depending) and Traitor (Depending) survive to fight another day. maybe Mira.
It is not in Rodrik playthrough. He is heavily wounded and he can't help her.
Elaena does not have that much screentime in Asher part, so her fate seems unknown.
A shame , they couldn't held ironrath .back at castle back , a hundred rangers held the castle against hundreds of wildings .I actually tought the forresters could have won the battle , is it possible for eleana to actually get out of ironrath ?
So if you choose not to poison Ludd, your mother will still carry on with the plan despite the fact it was a good deal and she would get Ryon? Also why didn't we kill them like in the red wedding? It could have been a choice between an honorable defeat or victory at the price of betraying everyone's trust. Could have had us been the villains in a cool way. The dinner just seems like a wasted opportunity.
Also, I called the north grove being home to a forrester bastard with a wilding army.
I rember puzzle box saying the episode has potential to be bloody and also that it is extremely branchy which leads me to believe that there were other endings but no one had found them yet
I wonder how the Mirgeyn shippers are going to react to Episode 6... honestly, I did see it coming.
It would be horrible if Mira's fate were to be a form of house arrest where Morgryn could use her to produce claimants to Ironrath, but it would be even worse if we stopped playing as her... she was my favorite character. Though I suppose Talia will be replacing her as the main female protagonist, which would be interesting.
Still now I wonder if sacrificing Tom is worth it - if it means Mira is given the Sansa Stark Season 5 treatment, which is the last thing I'd want for Mira...
All I want now is for Mira to survive Episode 6 and somehow enact revenge against Morgryn in Season 2 before dying herself, because she is determinant now.
But I get the feeling Morgryn will get away with it all - in fact the only way to 'defeat' him is for Mira to die - that way his ambition to control the Ironwood trade is quashed. I'd like to believe that by saving Mira there may be hope for her yet - but this is GoT we're talking about so of course its not going to go well... there's just no way for her to 'win' unless she dies - but that's not truly winning the game of thrones where you either win or you die - and I want Mira to live.
Season 2 will probably be good, its just sad we won't have Mira to spice it up like she did in Season 1...

Morgryn is pretty much locking her up and using her as a babymaker, so she is out of scene either way.
I think I prefer Mira to die, than become Morgryn's babymaker. For me, that is the hardest decision of this season. Poor Mira, she was my second favorite character.

I saw it coming too, and I yelled it all over these boards for half an year :P
What I didn't expect was a forced marriage. I thought he would just go and kill her (or get himself killed trying to kill her). I had hope for another season of scheming and plotting in King's Landing, though, and I really enjoyed interacting with him.
I doubt that she will be playable even if she lives. She is a determinant character after all, and the treatment Morgryn will give her should be enough of an excuse to leave her out of season 2.
I think most shippers will jump from the ship, but I can see some people expecting to eventually "change" Morgryn with the marriage.
Now, for there being no hope for Mira... In the show, Sansa was married to someone even worse (IMO), and got away. Sacrificing Tom to keep Mira alive gives me hope that she might come around eventually.

And I have hope to get back on the Whitehills and to get Ironrath back eventually. And maybe then we could get Mira back home. Sure, she won't ever be playable again, but maybe someone can mention what is going on with her on Season 2.

Sansa found an ally with Theon/Reek who enabled her to escape, whereas Mira would have to kill her only remaining in order to continue livin… moreg.
I can't decide what's worse: for Mira to continue living as a disposable background character or to die at the start of Season 2...
I just hope her determinant status had a purpose for the storyline and not just for the sake of being a GoT game.
A shame really, there goes my hopes of Mira visiting an imprisoned Cersei... Mira had so much potential. I really thought Asher/Rodrik were definitely going to die, I didn't expect Mira to die however, I really thought she would continue her schemes in Season , but alas she was still just a mere handmaiden... such a shame, I really hope her determinate status has a worthy trade off to it.
Honestly, to me, it was a pretty bad decision to make her determinant. And just when things in King's Landing were about to get exciting, too!
But knowing she is alive (in my game) puts my mind at ease, as bad as her situation is.
Is it wrong that I would like for a Red Priest to have changed Mira's appearance with Sera's just for the execution? :P
I really would like to be able to see Cersei's world crumbling around her through Mira's eyes. You see, I like Mira, but I liked more to play as her than I actually liked her as a character.

Have we got a name yet for the wedding between Asher and Gwyn?
The Red Wedding at the Twins.
The Purple Wedding at Kings Landing.
T… morehe Black Wedding at Winterfell.
So what should we call the Forrester's betrayal of the Whitehills? (not that I regret it, they had it coming).
The White Wedding? Like how both Ludd and Elissa's faces went so pale after ingesting the poison?
Disappointed in the lack of Tyrion, Cersei, and Ramsay appearances for the last episode (I would include Jon Snow, but including him wouldn't have made much sense anymore). After all the interactions with Tyrion, episodes dedicated to him and Mira, even having episode 5 where Cersei just does us a favor and it doesn't even matter whether we lied to Tyrion or not.
I just think Mira's section could've been way better and without making her determinant. I mean why choose between the crown and Margery if it's not gonna matter in the last episode, right?

And about how much better her section could have been, well, her story was pretty neglected throughout the season so it doesn't come off as a surprise that it happens again. It is why I had hopes she would get more attention in Season 2, but alas, TellTale had other plans.

I didn't see him on UGamers video but I saw Erik fighting in the background when Rodrik was on his last legs.
Makes sense, he could stay at Ironrath and fight, if he is not sent to the Wall.
Thx for noticing him.
I wonder what made Morgryn a asshole (I knew Morgryn sent Damien the moment I saw him Andros was too likely).
If Talia poisons him regardless, I'm actually going to be furious.
It wasn't Lucan.
We never got to know who worked for Tom.
NicWarden speak truth. The name of a dead guard is Damien.
WAIT WAIT WAIT HOW DID YOU GUYS GET THIS EPISODE. DO U GUYS LIVE IN THE USA

Totally agree with your opinion.
What do you mean?
Honestly, me too. I'm really hoping there's a non violent way to go about this if only to save Elissa.
