Controlling a Walker

How would you feel about playing as a Walker?

  • Very very very etc etc boring

  • Ehhh, it'd probably be really boring. I mean, it wouldn't exactly be a Left 4 Dead, ya' know?

  • You and 100% said ‘Arghhh...!’

The idea reminds me of that old Half Life mod where you played as a headcrab zombie.

Good stuff, although I imagine it'd be more boring in TWD, since the zombies don't do anything interesting.

  • I imagine all you'd do would be to shamble around and moan.

    Dead.

  • So basically, instead of choosing which character to save (only to watch them die in some contrived manner one episode later), you would choose which character to bite and kill (only to watch whoever you didn't choose die in some contrived manner one episode later).

  • The closest thing would be seeing a turning sequence from the playable character's eyes. Kind of like Shane's in the show. But yeah, playing as a walker wouldn't offer anything at all.

    I wouldn't care for it.

I actually had an idea for the show though. It'd be the scene before the opening credits.

We'd follow a walker, just walking around. All of a sudden it's attracted to a sound, and starts following it. At the end of the scene it chomps an important character.

But that was awhile back. Idk, it'd be too boring to put too much focus on a single walker.

  • Dead Carcass will remember that....

  • Or they end up being cannon fodder that get shot in the face before they can close the distance. Well, unless we play as a walker that conveniently attacks an entire group full of stupid people that are deaf, blind, and can't hit the broad side of a barn.

The Walker swim feature would be fun for catching prey.

  • Well to be honest, you need to wait for perfect timing. If the character talks too much about himself, you know thats your cue to kill him.

  • If a zombie is faced with choosing between two identically tasty humans, something has to govern which one they decide to eat. It may as well be the player.
