Maybe...Tomorrow? I mean I guess there's a possibility for tonight, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. The lack of classification is getting a little worrying.
The lack of classification is getting a little worrying.
Granted, Minecraft Episodes 2 and 3 had super quick releases, but even so - their classifications were around 10-15 days before the episode released.
If Michonne is following the same pattern for its Episode 1 as Minecraft has been following with its subsequent episodes, we could get a classification in the next few days and still have the episode come out on December 15th - which is looking increasingly likely at this point as the release date for Episode 1.

Well, it kind of does. 400 Days was just one scene introducing each character. It wasn't even really one episode in the way the series are. It wasn't anything substantive, while this is a full on mini-series. It is essentially the same as a series, but with only 3 episodes instead of the normal 5 (or 6 for GoT). There is no rational basis to compare the two other than them being DLC, which are things that dramatically vary one to another.
Uhm.... the number of episodes does not make the comparison invalid. 400 Days was meant to build up to something in Season 2 and had some im… morepact in Season 2. Michonne Mini-Series will have a link to Season 3 and will have some impact in the upcoming season. And both are spin-offs from the main story yet still has a link to the main series in some way or form. What I said before I meant there might not be a BIG impact as the link between Season 2 and 400 Days was hyped to a BIG thing which was not, so I was saying the hype could just be a marketing ploy when the link might not be a big thing, there will be some link. But whether it turns out to be big or little remains to be seen until we play it ourselves.
Yeah I know I'm a big KH fan. I'm just being sarcastic about Telltale's habit of keeping us in the dark and taking so long with stuff. At this rate KH3 will be out long before Michonne is lol.
Still no news bro. The mods have started to post theory vids of themselves dancing around in tinfoil hats. Lengthy discussions from fans about which characters shoelaces have been popping up all day. The community is cracking. We've run out of things to talk about! It's only a matter of time now before fabric of time and space collapses in on itself.
It's too late for me, but there may still hope for you. Go, escape while you can.
I know the day isn't over but, I called it. November 30 and no screens, vine, trailer or tweet.
Thanks Telltale I know I can always count on you to keep your promises .

Hardly a secret anymore they are working on it. That's not news, that's olds!
Honestly, we can rule out individual tweets from staff members who work on it as NEWS. Release dates, screenshots, artwork, episode titles, VA's. That's news.

It's no secret they'll make a trailer either. If he had said 'currently working on Michonne trailer for next week' that'd be news. Saying how it feels to be working on a game is not news.
To be fair, with Telltale's games being story based and not gameplay based, that means they usually wait until the episode is super close to releasing before working on the trailer (excluding trailers for Season Premieres, like how Wolf had a season trailer in August before having an Episode 1 trailer a few days before the game came out).
It's actually a little more of a good sign than you make it out to be.

That doesn't make it news though does it? As you say, they work on trailers close to release, we know this, so it's not news to us. Like I say above, if he gives a time frame for the trailer to release, that would be news.
Plus, its not as if the episode would have been a long way off anyway, considering their fall deadline. I'd be surprised if he wasn't working on the trailer.

Lol you mean how they released the trailers for the last Minecraft episode and for a TFTB episode the same day they released the episode? I mean if they're going to release the trailer so late, why even bother at all?
Not to be too pessimistic. I appreciate you trying to keep the mood here brighter Blind, but let's be real here too.

Seriously? It's news that a trailer would be in the works for this mini-series? No, just no...
If this is it, I guess Job play-testing the game was also news, cause we certainly wouldn't know it would be tested first before being released right? So Telltale's already given us news. Don't worry about it
In case you don't know February 17th is a forum joke known to Tales from the Borderlands fans when they all pinned their hopes on the second episode being released that day only for it to be out a month later.

F17 is an insider. Many people believed/hoped that TftB Episode 2 would release on Febuary 17, and then it became kind of a thing to say 'F17' or 'F17 hype'. btw completley random and unrelated, but F17 is my birthday :P
Of course, any sort of tweet is preferable to complete radio silence. Doesn't change the fact (not opinion) that it's not news and shouldn't be taken as such. Minor update sounds about right, but not news.
Just saying, keep your eyes peeled for the actual info that should come today

well tonight's the mid-season finale for the TV series. Would be nice to get a release date within a few days while there's a lot of buzz.

the longer it takes the better the game will be
Looks like Job's twitter break is over, so I think we'll be getting news tomorrow
Fingers crossed for an announcement tonight or tomorrow!?

Who wants to bet it's a vine that comes out a few seconds before midnight?
Im feeling Michonne pinball vine
I know the day isn't over but, I called it. November 30 and no screens, vine, trailer or tweet.

It's a vine of Michonne's dialogue tree which are all "..".
It's only 12:30 PM over at Telltale. There's still a chance for an announcement.
This is how I usually feel when something is announced as "soon":
Straw poll -
Michonne news today?
WE GOT NEWS!!!!

Trailer in the works. There we got news. Now you guys can't complain.

If that's news then I'm a talking walker with no arms. I mean, in terms of news I expected something less... obvious?
THE ALMIGHTY GODS HAVE SPOKEN!
Shaun Finney is the guy who makes the trailers, so this is about an upcoming trailer.
Kenny said it best in Walking Dead: Season 2, Episode 4:

Cut the crap. News time. No soon BS. I want news.

We have actual kinda relevant teaser information from a maybe trailer related tweet guys
It's not just soon that's the only vague word in the Telltale vocabulary. You can add news to that list too
So we have news that some guy is working on a trailer? Hmmm, better than no news at all I guess.
Trailer in the works, get that F17 Hype going people!

February? Don't think so. More like if we're very, very, VERY lucky... Next Tuesday, otherwise D15.

Yeah, I know. My friend thought me that when I started this account. It did slip my mind though. Feelin' kinda dumb now tbh.

I am going to be honest, I won't buy the mini-series when it comes out. I am going to watch some playthroughs first and judge if it is worth buying.
