Kenny Accidentally Elbows Clementine

This section is really good! In other words, is one of the best sections in season 2. Look at the perspective of both! Clementine shocked Kenny hurt her physically, Kenny shocked he hit Clementine, He a little crazy ... after he almost broke her nose, he tells her something almost hurts her.

I wouldn't read too much into it, this doesn't stop him from shoving her to the ground if Clementine tries to stop him fighting Jane.

  • Kenny loves Clementine, but ... Come on, stop harming the child physically. He is so aggressive! He also hurts people dear to him.

  • I disagree that what he shows towards Clementine constitutes love. I think he loved Duck, and he subconciously views her as his replacement (shown by him accidentally calling her Duck) and so he by proxy has feelings towards Clementine, but only as a proxy. Not true love for her self.

  • He then replaced it in AJ. He will see the baby duck and then abandoned Clementine. I hope Season 3 Kenny will love Clementine.

  • Didn't care about Arvo enough to try and protect him so this wasn't a problem for me.

  • I hope he does for those who kept him alive, but I have my doubts.

  • What do you mean? So he likes AJ, right? Idiot .. how to replace a child.

  • I think he is treating AJ as a surrogate for Duck and in doing so may have made Clementine less relevant to his personal psyche, but what I'm saying is that I hope he begins to start to actually love Clementine if alive in season 3, but I really don't think that he will.

  • She took it like a champ though.

  • In all fairness, when you're in the middle of a bloody deathmatch where both sides seemingly have intent to kill one another, I don't think either participant is going to take the time to safely move you out of the way

Not saying Kenny's in the right or anything (I mean, I don't think he is, but I don't even want to get involved in this discussion)

  • That's exactly what I thought! He thinks the baby is a duck, and ignores Clementine. but! 3 season Clementine is important to understand some of it, and I think Clementine save him with her life, after which he would be sorry for everything.

  • Sure, but I think it at least puts people's claims that he'd never hurt Clementine in doubt. I mean, he gets extremely uncontrollable and angry a hell of a lot.

Fuck Arvo, I told Mike to let Kenny Kick his ass. KENNY4LIFE. Also it was a ACCIDENT, Kenny meant no harm towards clem

  • this doesn't stop him from shoving her to the ground if Clementine tries to stop him fighting Jane.

I don't want to defend Kenny here, but Jane does the same if you will try to stop her.

  • Same for Jane too, though to be honest clementine needs to take some responsibility there. If two violent people are fighting get out of the way

  • He hurt Clem when she was trying to stop him from beating someone to death. There's a lot more wrong with him than whether or not he loves Clementine enough.

  • Yeah but people don't make such extreme claims about the goodness of Jane's morals.

  • I knew someone was going to say that, but it's really irrelevant? This is a thread about Kenny - I'm not using this as a reason to say Kenny is worse than Jane, nor did I imply such.

  • Is crazy ... and became a murderer. But ... his love for Clementine most important to me, he hit the little girl often (intentionally or unintentionally) and it really hurts to see it. He aggressively.

  • What do you think of Kenny would do if Clementine was crying the hit?

  • Why would she be crying? Just a little whack was all. She's taken worse

  • To be fair, Kenny was beating up Arvo, not Clementine, and he didn't mean to hit her. You don't get between these types of fights. To be honest, it was her own fault that she got hit, not Kenny.

It really boggles my mind that people say stuff like this.

Kenny is a good man that has done shit things, He certainly isn't the villain some make him out to be, Everything he has done he has done in self defense or for his family.. and taken it a little too far in Carver and Larry's case.. but thats arguable. Anyway.. his intentions seem to be in the right place.. but his aggression gets the better of him.

I think he does "Love" Clementine as he would his own family...This is clearly shown through all the sacrifices he makes if you go all the way with him to wellington, but I think what people are angry about is when you disagree with him.. he will go off at you.. and some hold it against him

He isn't as bad as people like the St Johns... but he certainly ain't no Lee either.

    Uncle Kenny ftw!

The only thing I'm questioning is the Kenny loves Clementine thing, how do we truly know this? Especially when the two individuals barely interacted with one another in Season One, in Season Two they were only together for less than a week and automatically were forced to bond by the plot, I'm not saying Kenny doesn't love Clementine but it just doesn't sound like love to me if they seem to barely know each other, Lee is really the only reason the two are close in any way.

  • He doesnt eat people. I guess he has that in his favor.

  • Yeah, I agree. I dont feel this "close" relationship between Kenny and Clem was earned. She bonded more with Christa and Omid, Luke, and certainly Lee.

  • Well we have to assume during the 3 month time jump in season 1 that they bonded then. Besides, i think its more of the fact that they have been around each other a lot in season 1 as to why they are close in season 2. He's the closest thing she has to Lee in season 2 whether people like it or not
