Why I want Clem as the PC

I would personally want to see Clementine as the protagonist again. I know season 2..it was just kind of dull, but I think that they can really go places with her story.
I would love for her to stay at Wellington. It could introduce so many opportunities. Like, you know the Saviors; They were a problem for Alexandria and Ricks group.

It'd be cool to see what that could build up. Clementines behavior and humanity could change do to the choices you make. Just, it'd be really cool. What do you think?

  • NO, alone ending should be continued

  • Nope, the best ending continuation would be rebuilding Howe's.

  • The best ending is staying in Wellington or leaving with Kenny simply because either ending is very emotional which is what i get hooked on in these amazing type of games.

I personally think season 3 will begin following on with whatever choice we chose at the end of season 2, so like Clem in Wellington or in Howes with Jane, then after like the first 10 minutes, something will happen that will end up moving on and then the rest of the first episode will take place somewhere else and each scenario will all lead to the same path because lets face it, there is no way they would make 4 different stories for the first episode. The amount of work that would take would be crazy but it would be amazing!

  • i want Clem too

  • There is no "best" ending.

  • NOHATCLEM

Ok, the ending that ends the nicest/emotional way then. In my opinion

  • I disagree. What with all the endings continuing her story seems redundant

  • The Jane endings can be emotional too, they certainly were for me. It depends on how you feel about the characters, it's not the case that the Kenny endings are objectively the best, merely subjectively.

  • In an interview a dev says that season 2 was about 'developing' Clem and forming her character - it certainly seems that they intend to continue her story, regardless of whether she is the protagonist.

Well the scene is emotional because of what it means for Jane not the characters we've just met, and again, obviously you won't view it as emotional if you have no emotional bond to Jane, but I'm saying that that doesn't mean the Jane endings are objectively worse because they are objectively less emotional - it's all totally subjective, so implying that only the Kenny endings are emotional so they should be the ones continued is stupid, selfish,or both.

  • The hell are people talking about here? There is no best ending, there is no one ending to continued... all 6 of them have to be continued.

  • Because it's true...?

  • Rebuilding Howe's? May I ask why?

  • No. If I have to place as Clem again I want her to at least get Lucille'd at the end.

Was the comment I originally replied to - this is an absolute statement, hence why I emphasised subjectivity.

I never said that, nor did I imply it. :P

..I know? You weren't who I was replying to on this thread initially, I was explaining my first post.

"Can't remember calling you stupid and selfish..?"

    Your post?

"so implying that only the Kenny endings are emotional so they should be the ones continued is stupid, selfish,or both"

That wasn't directed at me then?

You didn't imply that they should be the only ones continued, though, which is the selfish and stupid part.

Other people have done so, in the past, calling the Kenny endings the only 'true' endings.

  • Oh i see sorry I thought you were calling me stupid/selfish for having an opinion. Yes, there is no true ending and there is no right or wrong ending. I just wish telltale were able to make 4 different stories for season 3 but obviously there would be just too much work involved to do that. Be great to see determinant characters survive a full season and not just a couple of episodes

  • Suddenly I think that crossing paths with Carver was a mercy compared ever crossing paths with Negan...

  • Thats why I chose to go there. Its a known quantity instead of the uncertaintly if Wellington.
