Saddest Line of Dialogue

  • "But I'm little."

I was already tearing up, but the delivery of that line destroyed me.

Lee: "You're strong Clem." Clementine: "But I'm little." Lee: "Doesn't mean nothing." I don't know why but this line hit me so hard it was the closest I came to crying.

  • I know it's been said, but anything from the last section of No Time Left.

The increasing weariness of Lee's words and Clementine trying to hold back her tears as they both tried to keep it together made every final exchange a tearjerker.

  • Where does Kenny say " Thanks... For not giving up on me just yet" like what episode is it in?

"NO! were leaving! all of us ! together!!" "Please Clem just do as I'm asking... this one... last time" "Thanks.. for not giving up o

  • If you Tell Kenny he is dangerous after he kills Jane you get the choice to leave him or not, if you stay he says it

  • And when you can have Clementine tell her to close her eyes when the walkers are munching her T_T

I don't think any other single world has made me regret my morbid curiosity quite like that did...

i don't know the exact lines but this one hurt me after checking with sarah( saddest moment )

Sarah : " When we get dad, we should head back to the cabin, we'll be safe there."

    And this one

    Clem: We're friends right?

    Sarah: No were not..

she felt so much emptiness, and betreyal.. i can't help but to feel sorry.. that even teaching her to defend doesn't affect about episode 4 or the writer doesnt even give a flying fuck about sarah..

because sarah gave me a bigger depression impact in episode 4

    Alt text

  • " You know when i first saw you back at that lodge, i thought i was dreaming. & when you sat down next to me and we shared that meal... well, i could tell that you were different now, grown up.. i felt... pride... a pride i hadnt felt in a long time ''

    "Ill miss you"

    "Me too"

ALL 3 of them lines made me want to cry

  • I have a few

    1. Clem: my parents it's so horrible, and now you? Please, please don't become one of them, don't become a walker :'(
    2. Clem: Don't go.
    3. Clem: Me too
    4. Lee: I'll miss you
    5. Clem: I thought I knew what I was doing, I was stupid and Lee died because of it.
    6. Kenny: Clementine?
    7. Kenny: I thought about Duck today, about his stupid little face, about all the stupid little things he used to do, It's hard to remember he was a good kid.
    8. Kenny: You don't know how much it hurts for you to say that (when Clementine says, "Dammit Kenny look around you, there isn't anything out there, Wellington isn't real, it's all stories!)
    9. Kenny: Kennys entire speech to Clementine at the Wellington gates convincing her to go inside and take care of AJ.
    10. Kenny: Please Clementine do what I'm asking... For one.. Last ..Time
    11. Kenny: I'm real glad to have met you Clementine

There ya go, there's all of my emotional/saddest dialogue lines in my opinion

"What can I say to make it better ?"

"Promise me that you'll never leave me."

  • A toast!

To the loved ones that we lost along the way, and to the hope that we may see them again some day.

The fact that Luke dies a short time after..

  • No bro it was when he said "Im sure glad to have meant you Clementine" and "We almost made it..." made me tear up

"Where they don't have to look at you and feel ashamed at what they put ya through" Btw I'm not even a Kenny fan lol, but this line, this fucking line.

  • I'll miss you. -Lee

  • Who says this?

"How old are you?" "I...Dont know."

  • Bonnie asks it and Clem responds.

  • Uncle Pete admitting to you that he's afraid of dying is heartbreaking enough, but when Nick asks you about it later, if you choose the option to tell him Pete was scared, Nick responds furiously with: "Scared? My uncle? Fuck you. No way."

And that's all. He just downright refuses to believe his uncle would be afraid.

In spite of the tension between them, there's almost a childlike idealism in how he looked up to his uncle. You can see right there what Pete meant about "having to play a role" for Nick, and why his biggest concern while dying was the fact he was leaving Nick. Like... he simply can't cope with the idea of his uncle being vulnerable.

When you look at how he talks about Luke in episode 3, how Luke's so smart and he's definitely alive and he's going to come back for them and save them, it's put into a much sadder perspective. You wouldn't think it, considering how pessimistic he comes off as, but Nick's coping mechanism is that he tries to make heroes out of ordinary people.

There's something kind of wholesome and innocent about that kind of idealism that just breaks my heart.

  • "He's the reason I keep my hair short..."

  • "Please! Please don't be one of them! Please don't become a walker"

The delivery of that line breaks my heart and no matter how many times i watch that scene i shed tears

"You know what it feels like to get beaten almost to death? Peaceful. It was like I was floating away... and then I woke up again..."

(I know the quote is longer than this, but I loved the Ep.4 trailer version, the short version. It sends chills down my spine).

  • I can't remember it word for word but it was basically Clem blaming herself for a bunch of deaths.

"Sometimes people just die because of me"

  • Not exactly..
Kenny: 'take my cap, give it to AJ, it will keep the sunlight from entering his eyes'
    and 'he deserves to know'

"Ain't no way this world gonna let my son live, when I helped put someone else's in the ground" ~ Kenny in denial about Duck's bite ( ;-;)

  • "Do it." ~ Kenny in regards to Clementine preparing to shoot him. (Alone Ending + Both Ken and Jane dead)

  • Dude, that's fucking deep and really relatable. Thanks for your insight on this line.
