I actually thought 400 Days was interesting on its own. Sure, it didn't matter too much for Season 2 in terms of choices and consequences, but on it's own, I really liked the plots of each short story as well as the idea of an overall zombie survival anthology.
They had their ups and downs adapting the pre-existing story and characters of GoT, but did a good job with Crane, no doubt because his vagu… moree references in the comics gave them much more creative leeway. I can only hope Michonne's story will have at least some minor impact in Season 3, and Clem hasn't met any comic original characters since Season 1, I wonder if she even still remembers poor Glen...
Anyway the more I think about it, this DLC isn't much to fuss about, honestly getting to play Michonne within the comic canon continuity is already quite an interesting opportunity, and we already had a 400 Days DLC before S2 so it makes sense to have another DLC before S3, except Telltale only did a mediocre job with 400 Days (there is literally no reason to care about any of those one-off characters) so at least now they have an official character to work with, someone whose popular with fans worldwide, so this is a better option than another… [view original content]
Hm, 400 days was ok in my book. I enjoyed it, but the stories for me seemed a bit too short. Although I reeallly liked the fact that all of their stories were tied together somehow. (dry blood stain in the diner from dead elders, who were killed by the jerk who tried to kill Wyatt's friend, etc, etc.)
It felt nice when I finally realised those details that connected the characters.
Anyway, I feel that Michonne will be quite good. It'll be a great action packed mini-series. [once that's over though, I'll have to wait for Telltale's next series... forget waiting for episodes, it's the wait between series that is harsh.]

I personally love the idea of a Michonne game, she's my favorite character in the franchise and this game will answer what she was doing during a certain time in the Comics. So it's definitely not pointless, at least not to me and considering it's canon to the Comics Series it is pretty relevant to the franchise. I think this is pretty different since it's the perspective of a character in an entirely different area and we're actually playing as a main character from the original series. Also, I don't think it's counted as a Season 2 DLC anymore?
It was confirmed it won't be a DLC for Season 2. It will be just a mini-series. I think it's worth playing it to see the events of Michonne when she was missing in some parts of the comics.
) Christa's fate after All That Remains 2) Kenny's fate after No Time Left
those are all generic boring ideas
DLC with Michonn… moree is pointless.
can't say that until you have played it for all we know we could run into Christa or something (very unlikely but still possible)
Shel reading the script
Miss I think we got a problem her?
What is it? Clementine responded
Well I'm almost not in it.
So... You… more want a big ass role, letting me stress over your character because I made all the decisions in 400 days Slaps Shel in the face YOU DON'T GET TO DECIDE YOU HEAR ME!
Personally I would have loved a continuation of 400 days, making a DLC series based on those characters. But I'm completely fine with the Michonne DLC, it's in the same universe as the game and that's enough for me.

I took Captain Obvious's place.
"To play or not to play, that is the Telltale..."

Irrelevant? As long as it's TWD, it's relevant.
there is not "not to play" when it comes to telltale. its whether or not you can afford it yet xD
