I have to be honest. It was clear in season 2 episode 1 when there were a complete lack of puzzles and the hubs were awful small.... TTG tried to rely solely on the story and completly cut out the puzzles and hubs to explore stuff.
When I think back to ep 1 of TWD season 1 we had clementines house, Hershel's farm, the drug store, the motor inn...

By the sounds of things, the first episode looks to have been done ages ago. You'd have thought they would have sent it to be reviewed by now. I don't know how long the process takes, but I don't think it would coincide with the game's actual release date.

The Episode usually comes out about two weeks after it has been classified. At least that is my experience, it's possible that there have been exceptions before. But two weeks is a general guideline. So, I think it doesn't look too good for a release on the 16th

Am I the only one that is freaking hyped because of this? I missed it during the initial release!
Sounds to me like they will make a new combat system. Maybe MCSM's combat was a 'field test', because a finetuned version of that system would fit well with Michonne, Game of Thrones and potentially even Batman. They also mention how Michonne prefers to take walkers head-on, unlike Lee or Clem, who try to avoid them if possible. I expect a lot of fun walker slaying. Sorry if it's old news, I didn't see these Skybound Tweets until a few minutes ago.

Probably not. Telltale has yet to hype it up, there's been no Screenshots or Trailer announcements and the game has not been rated yet. Don't expect it before the 16th, and prepare mentally for the 23rd

Because they don't even know when the episode will come out. Telltale doesn't want to give an exact date until the episode has been rated.
