Hmm, interesting update. Might we get Season 3 this year? If not, we might also find out in what way that Season 3 is "bigger" than previous games.
EDIT: Season 3's waiting thread is briefly not sunk anymore if you guys wanna discuss Season 3 in more depth.
Also of note, going off of previous teasers with vague hints, that means in one single year, we could potentially have Minecraft, Michonne, Season 3 of Walking Dead (2016 release date potentially teased today), Game of Thrones Season 2 (2016 release date teased last year shortly before official reveal), and Super Show (2016 release date potentially teased last year) all coming out at different points. (EDIT: And, Batman too!) Assuming nothing has been pushed back (which I think might be the case for the Super Show,) that's a pretty impressive lineup in terms of how many series could potentially have at least a few episodes premiere in one single year.

I'm betting with this new series that has a "tighter schedule" I expect to see some sort of schedule for the releases, maybe. That way we could get good releases for episodes, and have people respect them or something... uh, yeah, I didn't know where I was going with that.
Here's my point. Season 3 might be "bigger" right? I think they may split it into two parts, one half season by the end of this year, the other half for next year. (Let's face it, we're not getting the whole season this year.) If it is bigger, than that either means more episodes, or bigger, expansive plots. Choice could get improved a whole lot for this new season.
Maybe I'm totally wrong and am just rambling on about nonsense. Whatever, they'll still be my favourite developer.

The Super Show is going to be a new format that combines a TV show and a Telltale game to tell a story. Their first Super Show is also going to use Telltale's first original franchise, but future Super Shows could potentially use existing franchises down the line.
They originally teased that Super Shows would "be a part of Telltale's future [in 2016]" when the concept was revealed last February, but in the time that has passed, they have been more vague about when it is coming, which seems to hint it might have been pushed back a little.

We don't know much about Super Shows as they have said very little since last February when the first revealed the concept (beyond teasing we would get more news later), but Telltale working on producing a TV show and making their own original franchise both sound like neat concepts. I'd certainly keep an eye on it event though we don't know a lot yet, such as what their first original franchise is going to be.
this is boring. nothing but accolades 24/7. we get it TTG, GoT and TFTBL did good but please stop tweeting and retweeting about all the accolades. it's so annoying.
I'm starting to wonder if season 3 might be their first super show, they have made a point of saying it will be "bigger" than the other seasons and they could possibly release it in 2016.
At E3 Kevin did a interview talking about the Michonne mini series and he also talked about the Supershow and how their relationship with Skybound was part of the reason they started the idea, skip to 3:19 in the video below as it sounded like Kevin hinted towards something between Telltale and Skybound which they where going to talk about at Comic con which they didn't do.

All I really hope for is a story that stays true to the character of Michonne (and to the source material in general), while still managing to weave that unique Telltale flavor/touch into the mix
I'm not asking for much out of the Michonne series, other than seeing them do justice to a character and story who most certainly deserve it
Far as I'm concerned, anything beyond that is just a bonus
So.... this is going to be one hell of a very long week.
What do you guys hope to experience from this Michonne mini-series? And how should it be different to Telltale's approach with Clementine?

im becoming less of a fan everyday. inconsistent release dates bother me. making more and popular franchises into games. I really want TTG to start from scratch and make a brand new original story. no one else's concept or ideas, just an original story. im expecting madden TTG next.

I'm so hype, I'm waiting for the trailer tomorrow.
Get that Michonne and S3 hype going.
What trailer?
So hyped and hinting at series 3 in 2016? That'd be brilliant
OMG i feel like a kid in a candy store, and it's gonna be a lot of action too. Hell yes.

Because news usually comes out one week prior to an episode or whatevs. Wouldn't be surprised if it came out on the 23rd tho.
Oops, I was wrong. Nevermind
What's about the Super Show?

Yus. Imma get me some walkin dead.
All aboard the Hype train to Fuckyeahville!
Am I the only one not really looking forward to this that much?
Why should they stop? Theyre proud of their accomplishments and should be. If youre a fan, shouldnt you be proud too?
Probably not, but I am.
News bout future news...lol
Hyped Anyways
Its twd, count me in the hype-train
My murder boner is rising in anticipation.
So.... this is going to be one hell of a very long week.

idk.
That'd be cool. Scripted and interactive walking dead content? Ok.
I'd still like to see them make an original IP, but we'll see how that pans out.
Looks to be some big news next week, just in time for my half-term course to finish.
Perhaps we'll have a little glimpse of the Michonne series?
They're already doing that. Did you not hear?
Have you tried Tales from the Borderlands by the way?
Im Pretty sure we will have a Release Date for the 16th. And a Trailer Next thursday or an the 15th.
Thread: walking dead
