Who is the WORST ever character?

  • People have opinions. You make it sound like liking S2 is wrong.

Why do so many people like lousy stuff all of a sudden??

  • Well, I mean that depends on the level of shittiness we're talking about here

Like, are we talking Plan 9-level shitty here, or more like ET the game level of shittiness

Ok how about poorly written TV series that are great the first episode but then gets cancelled after there has been two seasons as it went stupid.

  • Uh, because they don't think it's lousy? Because it's a subjective viewpoint that S2 is as bad as you make it out to be? Because you're being short-sighted enough to think that liking a video game you don't like makes the rest of us of a lower intelligence quota or some other bullshit?

I mean really, do you even understand the concept of subjectivity and subjective viewpoints? Or are you incapable of pulling your head far enough out of your ass to realize that all the shit you keep saying are subjective opinions, and not objective facts?

Worst characters for me in terms of being pointless and one-dimensional are:

    • Victor: The one dying bandit who you can give water to at the end of the first episode, where giving water to him or not makes no impact as he never appears again, and how leaving him to die does nothing to add any depth to Clementine's character.
    • Carver: All that build up towards his character and his relationship with the Cabin Group, and in the end he turns out to be a one-dimensional bloodthirsty tyrant who was nothing more than a stepping stone in terms of threat. What could have been an interesting grey vs. grey story between Carver and the Cabin Group is immediately wasted as the writers amplifies his villainy to almost comical levels.
    • Luke: One of the most boring characters of the Telltale's TWD series thus far who had five episodes to himself and made little to no impact on the story, which got worse as the story went on, and is eventually killed off in an anti-climatic fashion. It seemed apparent to me that the writers just didn't know what to do with him, and eventually just cut him loose once Jane was given more focus.
    • Sarita: As much as I like her I knew she was doomed to be Katjaa 2.0 the moment I saw her, and I knew that she was going to die just to give Kenny more angst, as a callback to his own family dying in Season 1. She barely had much character of her own besides being Kenny's new girlfriend, and most of her comment typically revolves around Kenny.
    • Reggie: A character who exists just to die to portray how evil Carver is, expect that we already know that Carver is evil to begin with due to his capture of the Cabin Group along with Kenny and Sarita, and his needless murder of Walter and potentially Alvin.
    • Alvin: Another forgettable character, where I had even forgotten to include him on this list on the original edit. Much like Sarita, he served to be Rebecca's husband/boyfriend, and had little to do other than kill George, Carver's friend, who the writers apparently forgot to explore in the story once the next episode arrives.

Honorable mentions, due to my dislike for these characters are:

    • Kenny: Could not stand him in Season 2, whose insufferable attitude, stubbornness, and penchant for overblown drama made him intolerable and unlikable to the point where he ruined my begrudging respect I had for him in Season 1.
    • Jane: Was initially fine with her until I realized how hypocritical her actions and behaviour are, how much trouble she delivers and cannot be called out on it (except for the baby plan), and how she fails to be portrayed as the ideal survivor when her own actions causes the death of others and herself.
  • Ralph: The one dying bandit who you can give water to at the end of the first episode, where giving water to him or not makes no impact as he never appears again, and how leaving him to die does nothing to add any depth to Clementine's character.

No, that's Victor. Ralph is the hooded bandit who was shown and never seen again.

  • Well the person i hate most in the Walking dead is Ben, he got so many people killed just like Kenny1005 said. Then Lilly got to take the blame for it and had to leave the group. To be fair Lilly shot Doug by accident and Carley insulted her and Lilly already was an emotional wreck, I just dont think it is fair that she had to leave the group because she really tried to keep the group together and in my opinion she did a great job. If I had gotten the chance I would have joined her when she left with the truck instead of staying with Kenny. But still everything was because of Bens stupid decision trying to negotiate with those people, he could atleast talked to the group before.

  • Leave with a psycho who shot a person in front of the group. That was a stupid move.

    Why would it?

  • The worst character award is created ONLY and ONLY for Troy to achieve. Now, not that he's a pointless character, but it just annoys be how he bullies Clem multiple times, beats her up and his payback is a shot to the dick. Now that would be the most gruesome payback I've seen in YEARS since nobody is risking to get the A rating, but goddamn Telltale should of let CLEMENTINE to kill the fucker. Not Jane. And speaking of Jane for me she is the second worst since she is a general bitch and the only thing that makes me want to save her is the fan theory that she is pregnant with Luke's child which if it turns out to be actually true she will abort her unborn child anyway, so what's the point? There's no point, so when Season 3 comes around I just hope Jane gets the same fate as Lily and either gets left alone in Carver's Camp or gets killed for whatever reason.

  • Kenny for taking attention from all the other characters.

  • @Mariana238 All the other characters for taking attention from Kenny. He shall be the only developed character on The Walking Dead!

  • I said it would be somewhat justified because Kenny advocated to leave Lilly, but I personally wouldn't leave the group next to the train.

No way I was going to leave Katjaa behind. She simply can't be blamed for her husband's actions, which she often seems to disagree with in the first place. She was in the middle of coming to terms with Duck's death, and abandoning her would've made it worse. Plus, she was a veterinarian with some medical skills.

Why is leaving with Lilly selfish?

    And

Well yea Im buying that because of Duck and that he was bitten. Just like BetterToSleep said Kenny wanted to leave her or atleast said that. There is a possibility that Kenny should have left Lee, Kenny says that " when it comes to deciding which people will come on the boat, Lee,s past would be counted for" if we haven't know what would happen, how can I trust that he had not left Lee or Clementine? Lilly is a good person and she shot Doug by mistake and she was right all along that it was Ben that stole the medicine, so killing Ben would be justified, Doug pulled Ben away so she accidentilly shot Doug. And Lilly had a good point when she said "what if Clementine had been sick and they didn't have the meds" I'm looking out for Clementine and going with Lilly was the best chance for survival for both Lee and Clementine.

  • I agree completely it is not fair to leave Katjaa and she shouldn't be blamed for his actions, but like I said before, the biggest goal is to keep Clementine safe, and that group wasn't functional, Kenny was a wreck, Ben is a traitor that left Clementine in the zombie horde and Chuck was not be trusted at the moment that is why I think it would be better to follow Lilly and she cared about Clementine and that is what matters! :)

None of this had happened at the time, though. Katjaa and Duck were still alive, Ben only left Clem to fend for herself an episode later and we came across Chuck on his wagon only after Lilly had taken off.

Although, the idea behind your comment is still there, and entirely justifiable: if you are in the zombie apocalypse, and the people who surround you are a wreck, you will really have to consider whether it's worth sticking with them.

  • Well yea okay you got that right, at the moment nothing of that had happened yet so that is correct, and I really understand how you are thinking about not leaving them, I also found that hard in season 2 when Jane is talking about cutting Kenny loose and leave him because he is a danger to the group, It didn't feel right to leave him and it's the same with Katjaa and Duck
