I think I meant to say Jane caused Sarah to die, no doubt.
I just don't see how that is possible.
Why did they stop? That's the question. There is no way they ran out of ammo. They just stood there like freaking idiots.
They could've thought that the sound was going to attract even more walkers, and that it would be dangerous because Rebecca was still in labor? It really seems like a plot hole to me, in order to get Sarah to die.
It's nice that you ignored half of what I said. Oh, well.
What? Did Jane ruin Sarah's character, or did the writers ruin her character?
I think I meant to say Jane caused Sarah to die, no do… moreubt.
And remember, Mike and Bonnie at least took down a couple of walkers.

Jane gave Clem the option to let her die at the park. If saved her, Jane makes Luke an offer which made his ditch his guard duty, it put the group at risk and caused Sarah to fall off.

Jane gave Clem the option to let her die at the park.
The situation forced Clem to decide. The plan was to have Clem try to convince Sarah, and if that didn't work, they'd have to go. There was literally no other way, because of gravity.
If saved her, Jane makes Luke an offer which made his ditch his guard duty, it put the group at risk
That is partially Luke's fault, too. He shouldn't have been on the second level of the observation deck in the first place.
and cause Sarah to fall off.
It did cause Sarah to fall off, indirectly, but if you want to start with indirections, then it was Carlos's fault that she died, too, because if he had stepped a bit to the right, he wouldn't have died and Sarah wouldn't have been grieving. Oh, but it's also Rebecca's fault too, because if she hadn't been pregnant, the group wouldn't have had to look for supplies. But then again, if Rebecca hadn't been pregnant, she and Alvin wouldn't have left Howe's Hardware with Luke and Carlos, and the whole situation would have been different.
See how ridiculous it can get?
Do you think I would care much for the noise when a friend of mine was in danger? Who would?
I would, if the noise provoked would put even more people in danger, some being a kid, a woman in labor and a newborn baby.
I just don't see how that is possible.

On the other hand though, saving her at the trailer park makes just about every other character look bad as well, because none of them give a single solitary fuck when she dies on the deck

It was a good call on Clem's side to slap Sarah, because it caused her to wake up. But if she didn't think of that, which can also happen, what would you want them to do? Sit around to get eaten along with her?
Well this is his and group's fault for this. The escape plan was the worst idea in my opinion.
You know this was Jane's and Kenny's idea and not the cabin group's, right? Luke and Carlos wanted to wait so that everyone could heal.

I was using Carlos and Rebecca as a means to show you how stretched-out and ridiculous indirect blame can get. I stated that afterwards.
No matter if there many or not, you should always risk your bullets to protect your friends and family.
I'm not risking the lives of eight other people to save one, especially after one of them had come down to help her and it wasn't working at all, because it seems like the platform managed to break her hips.
By the way, if we're just going to run in circles I'd rather stop it here, unless you have anything else to say.

I left her to die in the trailer. I couldn't risk Jane and Luke anymore than I had by trying to talk her out of it; when I got out and watched the Walkers get her I probably felt the worst I ever have during the game. It saddened me that I let Jane talk me into giving up on her, Lee wouldn't have wanted Clem to be that way.
Luke and Clementine widened their eyes in shock while staring at her, and Luke even yelled her name in cap locks in a dramatic fashion to make the player tense, if it helps.
On the other hand though, saving her at the trailer park makes just about every other character look bad as well, because none of them give a single solitary fuck when she dies on the deck
Not really. Carlos sheltered the fuck out of her. She was bound to die. Plus... TWDG has a knack for killing off most of the characters that appear in the Season...
Luke and Clementine widened their eyes in shock while staring at her, and Luke even yelled her name in cap locks in a dramatic fashion to make the player tense, if it helps.
Yeah, but the problem is that's all they do. After that scene, outside of a quick talk between Clementine and Jane, and Jane mentioning her briefly before leaving, no one has any further reaction(s) to her death. Rebecca says nothing about it at all, Luke says nothing after this scene (save for a single name drop in episode 5), Mike and Bonnie don't mention it, Kenny doesn't mention it. Clementine and Jane are the only ones that have a reaction beyond the initial shock of watching someone get eaten alive, and even that's only about three or four more lines total.

It's Jane's fault because she made that offer with Luke. If she NEVER made that offer, they wouldn't have been caught off guard and Sarah would still be alive.
I felt sad when she died but it got easily forgotten whith the baby being born and all.
I keep asking myself what was the purpose of Sarah's character. During episode 1 and 2 she's just there, in episode 3 she gets development only to be killed in episode 4! To make matters worse her death gets forgotten by ALL the characters, it would be interesting to see how Carlos would react to her death but... TOO BAD he got killed too! So, in the end, these two characters served to what purpose?
So, in the end, these two characters served to what purpose?
Death and drama fodder, sadly
Carlos is there because they needed someone who could do doctor stuff when needed (essentially Clementine's arm and Kenny's eye), someone for Carver to threaten and basically torture during episode 2's ending, and someone to kill during the Howe's escape that players cared about to some extent ('care about' is extremely relative here)
Sarah was there to create moral/ethical conflict, and to ultimately die, because we needed more proof that the world of TWD really, really sucks
I felt sad when she died but it got easily forgotten whith the baby being born and all.

I definitely cried, I couldn't believe she died in that episode regardless of if you saved her at the Trailer Park, it seriously got me so pissed at TTG for a short while to be honest because not only did they just remind me how my choices have very limited effects on the game(at least during that time) but they also killed her off illogically... how did the planks randomly managed to trap her legs when she fell on top of them???!?!?!? Sarah was the most innocent and kind character I've seen a Video Game but not only that, she had depth, she wanted to survive and she was seen as a 'liability' to the group - let's not mention that no one ever bothered to give her a weapon -_- - I really wanted Sarah to live, I pretty much felt overemotional when Sarah died and what made me angrier is how some people form TTG talked to Greg Miller from IGN about Sarah's death and they just laughed it up... ugh. Sorry for this kind of rant! :c
Pretty much everyone except Clementine, Luke and Nick, although I'd say that Clementine is determinant. I'd also count Jane, despite how selfish you keep saying she is, she still risks her own life to save not only Sarah but Luke, Clementine, Kenny, Rebecca, AJ and pretty much everyone who escaped Howe's.
I disagree when people called Sarah a weak character, she was strong enough to recover from being slapped by Carlos and determinantly Clementine, she was strong enough to be one of the few characters who stood up for Clementine against Carver and didn't give a crap about his 'morning announcements', she also managed to escape a large horde full of Walkers unscathed and made her way to a trailer park without her glasses whilst many others died, not to mention she wanted to learn how to use a gun just in case she'd ever need it. Just because a character suffers from a traumatic event or experience does not make them weak, otherwise this would apply to every character.
I did feel really bad. It sort of hurts me to see children suffer brutal deaths in games. It hurt me that the writers didn't show any care a… morend just wanted to get rid of her. And I'm also appalled when people say that they hate her and she died because she was "weak".
But how are we to know exactly how everything would've played out had Luke not accepted Jane's offer(The action was Luke's, the initiation' was Jane's), for all we know, everything could've happened that way regardless, considering that I doubt Rebecca would've given birth sooner just because Luke warned them about Walkers ahead of time and I doubt all those Walkers would've just passed the Observation Deck considering that was the direction they were going. Also remember that it's because of Jane that they could actually use the Observation Deck for Shelter, a place for Rebecca to have her baby...
It's Jane's fault because she made that offer with Luke. If she NEVER made that offer, they wouldn't have been caught off guard and Sarah would still be alive.
I honestly don't think it would, the difference would only be when they arrive at the Observation Deck unless the Walkers decided to do a 360 degree turn for some reason?
Yeah, but the problem is that's all they do. The only interactions they had would be when Kenny said "you three have been busy" to Sarita, when she, Sarah and Clem were decorating the tree; Sarah said "that's horrible" after learning that Kenny lost his whole family, which maybe foreshadowing to when she loses her whole family.
Apart from those two times, they never acknowledged each other's presence.
I didn't cry but I remember crying at the end of the episode because lord Jesus it was too saddening (AND THE WORST PART WAS I PLAYED ON THE WRONG SAVE FILE - SO I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO SEE NICK WHO SURVIVED IN MY GAME DIE).
Greg laughed as he didn't like her and they sort of smiled. At the end of the day she isn't real and I still don't understand why people get so angry about it

I was actually being sarcastic. I agree that her alternative dead was a bad joke. Not even Rebecca seemed saddened, despite sobbing if told by Luke that Sarah didn't make it, earlier in the episode.

I suppose they cared for a second. However the writers wrote the group more bipolar than a high school girl. No one cares a minute later because the baby is cute. He'll, even Clementine is more saddened about Jane leaving than her friend being torn apart in front of her. Plus the scene is a lazy insult to our intelligence. She fell on top of the falling rubble so the most she could have had was a broken leg. She shouldn't be buried underneath
