Poll: Who do you want to bid goodbye to (Lucilled) in Season 7 Premiere of TWD TV?

  • I agree. It can only be one or the other.

Rick is the main character, Carl has too much story left and Negan sees himself in Carl, Carol has been confirmed as unkillable by Robert Kirkman, Michonne has just started a relationship with Rick and he already lost Jessie, Aaron is too minor as is Heath, Abraham will live until at least 'All Out War', Judith is a baby-enough said and they won't kill a pregnant woman like Maggie that brutally plus she has lots of development left.

It can only be Glenn or Daryl. I want it to be Daryl but I think it'll be Glenn.

  • Ok i can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but i assume you are. Negan is loved by Walking Dead fans because he works perfectly as a villain and is one of the most complex characters in the series.

I think you should understand that, like you said, fans have been expecting him for 3 years. People are very passionate about the series, its why its one of the most watched on television and one of the only shows to compete with Game of Thrones.

Also this is just the latest thing to hype about. Wait a few months and everyone will be talking about Ezequiel and Shiva (his tiger).

  • It has to be Glenn or Daryl

Glenn to stay true to an iconic scene, not to mention killing off a character who seemingly cannot be killed by any means necessary, (how many times has Glenn cheated death now? Feels like it's all been building up to this one death)

Daryl for the jaw-dropping, shocking fact that TWD has just killed one of it's most well-liked and major characters

Any other character for me is a cop-out and a sign of weakness on the writer's part, one of the Atlanta 5 has to die in this scene, Rick and Carl it won't be. Carol's AWOL. That leaves Daryl and Glenn. I don't want to lose Daryl but his death would have the biggest impact out of everyone there

Considering how in the comic Negan remarks about being racist for killing Glenn, but does it anyway because he doesn't want to kill Rick, or the others (I forgot his reasons, I know he does a picking game) I'm sure he will go for Daryl this time...especially since hes shot now.. maybe he will 'put him out of his misery'

  • I am guessing Glenn. the people who write for the series keep saying that show will be more faithful to the comics yeah.

  • I dont read the comics so I dont honestly care. I was referring to the built up of Negan since mid Season 5 on the TV show and I dont care for it, nor do I care for the "villain of the season" arc. There are a whole of issues with Season 6 of TWD for me that is beyond the scope of the games so I want get into that.

Also, not all TWD fans are alike. We arent this one monolith of people who all like TWD for the same reason. So to say that a lot of TWD fans like Negan is irrelevant, because clearly not all do.

Negan will kill Maggie by slicing her unborn child out of her stomach and make Glenn watch.

  • So this is what I have heard:

    • The man you all have been waiting for, Negan, shows up in the last ten minutes of the episode, along with his barbed-wired bat that he calls by name "Lucille”.

    • He has a long monologue in which he explains that Rick killed a lot of his people and that Rick and the others have to start working for him, giving him half of what they have. And as retribution he concludes that he’s going to kill one of them and if anybody tried to stop him he would take Carl’s other eye and give it to Rick to eat.

    • Our group are all on their knees as he decides who to kill; He looks at Maggie (who’s health/stomach pains have worsened), but Glenn interjects and Negan says he was thinking to kill her so he could get her out of her pains. He has trouble deciding which one to kill so he begins his game of “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe” Every one of our captured characters’ faces are shown during the count.
And the moment we’ve all been waiting for….

    • When he finally chooses, the camera view switches to the ill-fated character’s point of view, so we don’t know who has been selected. Negan bashes his/her head and their vision/the camera becomes blurry. Everybody starts shouting at the carnage. Then Negan makes a few more hits causing the ill-fated character to fall on the ground, and after a one more final hit there is a sudden fade to black. End credits, end season. Who's the victim? Nobody knows... It's a cliffhanger from hell.

First off i am sorry to dissapoint you but...........Negan is not like the one Season villains. No i don't mean in the fan boy way of 'hes more evil' or 'hes badass' i mean that 51 issues after his original appearence he is still alive. That approximately means he will be in about 4 more seasons if he were to die now. Its gotten to the point he is considered the MAIN antagonist of the series and has now outlived the governor by about 20-ish issues. So hes here to stay.

Ofcourse were not a like. People have different visions on what the show is or should be its one of the great thing about the franchise. My point was not that Negan is liked by a lot of fans. It's that this is a big moment for fans, it's something that helps them like the series and im just saying you should try to understand what this means to people. I and no im not saying you're not ALLOWED to dislike him. I'm trying to help you understand something you are clearly mad about.

Spoiling Dead refuses to trust it and so does every other sources. Then again spoiling Dead apperently got a hold of the audio for the Negan scene. I havent seen it myself so i wouldnt know. • I dont know dude. I dont like psychopathic killers as characters. I dont see much value in murder and so I dont particularly look forward to some psycho becoming a core character. I want this to be about people in ZA and I understand there will be human antagonists, but I dont want this to turn into the "Rick vs Negan Penis Measuring Contest Show, with zombies thrown in as the incidental backdrop. I get that this may be something you and some fanboys like, I dont.

That said, unless they have changed that moving forward, I have learned not to go by the comics to get clues as to the TV show and vice versa.

  • I dont know what the Spoiling Dead is and I am guessing this here based on discussions with friends and such. It is pure speculation and rumor, and my guess is as good as any - but it is not a spoiler. I dont have a source or anything.

Negan is more than just a psychopath. But ill leave it there. Lets just say he is probably the best written and most developed villain in the series (Mostly since Kirman wanted to write a villain that wasn't crazy or sick but just violent in his methods)

I think i understand your perspective now. A lot of fans had the same mentality about Negan at first too but i am sure that if you give the character a chance you'll at least understand why the fanbase is so passionate about him.

That being said i am sorry to confirm that the Saviors will become the main antagonists for next the two Seasons and walkers secondary at best. Walkers were supposed to be the main villains for Season 6A (first 8 episodes) since it was based on No Way Out.

And yes the comics and show have large differences but Scott Gimple has promised the fans it will be mostly accurate for next Season since Negans appearence marks the start of the 'Golden Age' as most fans call it.

Also i would like to thank you for not turning this into an argument. You probably know that a lot of fans are........... actively argumentative and take things far. So yeah, thanks for respecting my opinion at least.

Spoiling Dead is a large community of fans whos goal is to reveal the Walking Dead tv series plot before it airs. They are notable for planting spies on set and spoiling huge plot details and entire episodes including:

    Merles Death

    The Governors retun and death

    Beths death

Almost every Episode of Season 5

About 80℅ of the first 9 episodes of Season 6.

Every single thing that has happened in the last seven episodes of Season 6 execept for Negans appearence.

Getting an audio version of Negans first appearence and ruining the ending of this Season to anyone who hears it.

  • First off, why would Maggie even die? The one thing that proves that she has immunity, of all things, is a haircut. The comic-readers know that as the beginning of Maggie's role as a leader. She has a lot more time before she dies! (If she ever does!)

  • It has to be someone from the "Atlanta Five" and we know Rick and Carl are safe. That leaves Daryl, Glenn, and Carol. I'm thinking it'll either be Daryl or Glenn.

  • Maybe Tara will take Holly's(Comics) role.

It'd be perfect for Tara to sacrifice herself for Glenn. He saved her way back in season 3/4 and now it's time for her to return the favor.

  • negan is a funny guy ((comics) i hope they'll follow that personality in tv), unpredictable, sometimes reasonable, has rules that must always be followed (like the Saviors can't rape, ironic he has many wives but as he said, it's the ladies' choice, they can leave if they want to)

I still think it's Maggie that might get axed. I haven't seen the recent episodes in full, but they seem to have been focusing on her quite a bit from what I've been able to see. And just some things from the previous seasons as well has had me considering that.

The only thing that ruled it out with me however was because of Maggie being pregnant and thinking "nah, they wouldn't beat to death a pregnant woman, the show would get complaints for that" however recently with the last episode implying Maggie might've had a miscarriage, I'm worried now. We've already have Abraham dodge his comic death, and they've been hinting at Glenn's demise to the level of giving us a fake out, I'm just not 100% sure it's going to be Glenn. They'll either go through with it, or just pick somebody else in the group for a shocker. Like many thinking it's Daryl, it could very well be and I've even thought the same, but my bets are still on Maggie.

  • wow. So what did the audio say? put a spoiler tag on it and tell me...I mean honestly, we all know someone is gonna get killed. The cast already said "hearts will be broken".

Personally i think they will off either Glenn or Maggie since they have been following them around this season with all the baby and sonogram stuff. Also guessing it may be someone like Daryl too or Carol. So really, it is 25% chance Carol, Darly, Maggie or Glenn will die. I doubt any of the other semi core characters will die or that it will be the huge deal the network is making. I hear the producers coach the cast what to say in interviews and tweets.

  • As I've said before I'd do it the same way as in the comics but really capture the screams and pleads of Maggie. It would make Negan hateful (as we're supposed to think upon meeting him) and leave a huge impact on the group and on Maggie's character.

  • Carol isn't in the line up so she's ruled out.

  • Haven't heard it. I tried to avoid spoilers. But i know 2 things:

1). It was the censored version.

2). When it was a 30 second audio video originally i looked at comment for it and it said that it was just two women screaming and crying while a "Twack" was heard twice.

That was it. Nothing we didn't already know. Im lucky i avoided the rest.

    I think it is Glenn.

On another note: i cant believe this show has become about who will die? Story telling, character development, logic and what not all thrown out the window,. The entire sixth season is all about WHO WILL DIE AT THE END. And that's like the plot element. wtf. I know people die in the ZA, but that should follow naturally from the plot, not be the driving force behind it while everything else takes a back seat. Other stories beside who will die can be told too, you know. I miss the days this show used to be about something beside "who will die next week".

That said, if they are going ot kill someone i wish it would be that jackass Rick. He is the one who decided to go murdering people in their sleep without much of a plan. He is the one just making one lousy decision after another. Yeah he is the main guy, but i have so little sympathy for him, I'd rather watch him die than the others. In fact, it is hard to root for anyone in this group: they are no better than Negan. They dont know the people they killed - whether they had loved ones or were "good" guys - just like Glenn. They just killed them .So whatever they get tonight, I think it is deserved.

  • yeah I heard it. Looks like it was Glenn. He's off the show I assume. Also, Daryl. It will be 2 male core characters...

  • Did you just..........did you just fucking spoil the finale for me?

Please tell me you did'nt. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU!!!

  • Thats kinda the point. Its meant to show that The Saviors and Ricks group are nearly equal. If Negan says the chessy "Were alike you and i" he is 100℅ correct.

Anyway they won't kill Rick because Negan doesn't want a martyr.
