Mann I got super excited when i saw the update its strange there isn't any news on what it is exactly.. i really want to take Norma out already!! She looks exactly like those psychos from ep 2 in the first WD game all mixed together; i hope Michonne gets to drop her machete into Norma's face this episode muhaha!
It's only taking 3.48 GB on my system, i don't consider that a lot of space. The update didn't even take any extra space but rather it replaced files that where already in the folder.
Well, since Ghosts never got a sequel in terms of story continuation (and probably won't get), the story's more cliche than Advanced Warfare and not a lot people play the multiplayer in this game, I'd say yeah, it is.
But surprisingly enough, this is my personal opinion, so don't get your tum tums in a twist.
Call of Duty: Ghosts takes around 28GB and it ain't the longest CoD game...
Soo...It is a waste of space?
Sorry really felt the urge to suddenly say it.
Ehh, I can't really see them making him have meaningful choices as he doesn't have as big of a range of personality as Michonne, if you know what I'm talking about. I feel his personality is quite heavily defined and making him playable would be weird if you played him any other way than he is in the comics. I hope I don't sound crazy, I just have that sort of feeling that I am writing complete jibberish.
News on Season 3 is not being held back because of Michonne; they gave Walking Dead fans Michonne so they would have something to occupy their time during the wait for Season 3. Both Season 3's release and the timing of when we first get news on Season 3 are not based around when Michonne ends, and we would get news/the game at the same time anyways. We got Michonne as an extra to make the wait less painful.
It makes total sense. Give him a big enough range of options to choose from, and his choices will appear out of character. Give him few, and you have a virtually identical story, without choices making much impact.

I mean, I would totally love it, but uh, it probably couldn't work. If they weren't releasing the Negan backstory, set it at the beginning of apocalypse, have him be a regular survivor, show how he gets Lucille, founding of the Saviors, etc. With the backstory, I'm sure the option to do it would dwindle down to none, but it's cool to imagine.

I know InGen and Metallica already commented, but just for emphasis, I want to comment as well to get the point across - Michonne replaced any other Telltale game we would have got - it did not come at the cost of Season 3 being "delayed".
In 2013 and 2014, Telltale launched two games in a year. In 2015, Telltale announced they intended to launch Michonne and Minecraft. Ignoring that Telltale delayed Michonne Episode 1 to release it closer to future episodes, are you otherwise noticing a pattern? Before you say that they could have launched Season 3 in 2015, Telltale have confirmed they wanted to spend more time on Season 3, so we would not have gotten it last year anyways.
Telltale took more time on Season 3 because of its ambitious scale. If you listened to the Batman SXSW Panel, you might also recall Telltale said that they are using a notably upgraded engine for all games starting with Batman. If anything, you should be glad that Season 3 had more time put into it, as it will be using Telltale's notably upgraded engine and it will also have the added benefit of Telltale taking more time on the story, whereas Telltale jumped straight into Season 2 after Season 1 was successful.
Let me ask you a sincere question, Blind. I am not complaining, because I've really enjoyed the Michonne Miniseries so far, but I don't understand, how does developing this project before Season 3 not push the latter further back? I mean, you say that they want to take their time to develop the story through, but aren't the writers that will work on Season 3 working on Michonne or on Minecraft, at the moment? Or do they have different teams of writers, and some teams do nothing until they are called in? I really don't get how that'd work.

I'm not Blind, but uh, before he comes in with a more detailed and better written response, here's me:
Basically, Telltale has teams for all the games they make. Since Season 1, they've expanded significantly to around 350 people. Some writers/designers/other staff move from project to project. Michonne being developed before Season 3 I would say probably actually helping Telltale, by allowing them to further their graphics and unique models before Season 3, as well as test the waters (no pun intended) to see what other sorts of things players want, and also giving them more time to make the game. Michonne would have been some other game, or no game at all, but Season 3 would still likely release at the same time it will now. I don't think there's ever anyone doing nothing, but I assume the workload between the concept phase and live development is considerably different. I imagine Season 3 still has a load to go, and once Minecraft and Michonne finish up more people will be added to Season 3 though, along with the team that's already set working on it.
But like I said, Michonne isn't really delaying Season 3 or anything, in fact it's probably helping ease the development with more assets being available from Michonne, like walker models, and stuff, so uh yeah.
I'm just going to leave with some stuff that it's the Upcoming Game FAQ thread written by Blind/Jennifer:
Since the success of Walking Dead: Season 1, Telltale has sized up from 70 people to near 350 people, and now have five times the amount of staff members they had during Season 1, so multiple projects at once should not be a concern. They now have a big enough staff to work on four projects at once as well as extra staff members to work on side projects. (Even before Walking Dead: Season 1, Telltale had several points in time where they worked on multiple projects with a much smaller staff size of less than 70 people.)
Even though Telltale announces their projects ahead of time, this doesn't mean that each game is in full production. All games by Telltale Games are first started with a small team of just a few people, who do things common in very early development, such as sorting out the season wide story and working on concept art. As the deadline nears, more people are brought in to work on other things, but it is still a small team. Full production doesn't start until the current seasons wrap up, and seasons that are announced years in advance won't begin full production until long after that. The currently ongoing series also don't affect each other, as different teams are working on each project. Even in the case of shared staff, the work load is light enough for these staff members, that their working between projects doesn't have any affect on the quality or development time of either project.
In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Bruner stated that "Telltale's approach to game development is much more like television than most other game developers. Across all of our series — The Walking Dead, Minecraft: Story Mode and more — the development process at Telltale spends a significant amount of time upfront in the writer's rooms not just with writers, but designers, directors and creative input from all across the studio. It's not unusual for our games to exist longer on whiteboards and sticky notes and in scripts than they do in traditional game production. It's incredibly similar to how TV often spends so much time in preproduction and planning before moving into actually shooting."

That helps a lot, InGen! Everything makes a lot more sense for me now, knowing that they have a few people working on pre-production and such. Thank you for your time!

Wouldn't be out today, but that's a good sign.
So it's not just me, then. But no, it's definitely not out. Nothing episode 3 related on steamdb yet, but they must have patched something. But why would it be 1.3 gb?
I agree what's up with that?

Hmm, yours was 1.3 gb? My update was 6 mb.
1.3 GBs? Wow somethings happening. I wish Telltale did patch notes.
Ugh all of this goddamn wait, just be done with it so we can get to s3!
Can someone tell me why there are suddenly a 1,3 GB update?
Why is there a 1,3 GB update? What's going on?
Interesting...Something's happening.
The update is something related to episode 2.

For a small game it sure is taking quite some space.

What does a 1.3G update mean? I don't get if it is too little if it is the actual episode, or too much if it is the episode. Please explain!
I don't know about you guys but for a brief glorious moment I thought they had released episode 3. :P
Can anyone replay Episode 2 and tell us what changed?
Replay it yourself. Lazy. :-P
Anyone else wish we got a Negan miniseries?

If telltale wouldn't have wasted time making a game about michonne, then.... the season 3 would have arrived sooner.
Actually, it's been stated that Michonne was put as something a little extra for TWD fans, and would have been a different game.
What InGen and Blind Sniper have said, Michonne has no affect on Season 3's development and news.
I know InGen and Metallica already commented, but just for emphasis, I want to comment as well to get the point across - Michonne replaced any other Telltale game we would have got - it did not come at the cost of Season 3 being "delayed".

Looks at Blind Sniper's comment
Which one of you commented first?
InGen commented first
Well I meant between you and Metallica, how did he know you commented without editing his post.
I think Metallica was referring to Blind's first reply.

I was.
Actually since IW is making this year's COD it's most likely going to be a Ghosts 2, and 100% in space unfortunately (to me anyways)
Cut the BS please.
This move is for profit, not courtesy.
Yeah, also it couldn't even be an origin seeing as they are making the origin of Negan in Image+.
