Are Paige and Samantha in a relationship?
Not looking for an argument about lgbtq representation here, just looking for other opinions on this specific instance.
I certainly got the impression they were - but the wiki lists them as 'good friends' so clearly others got a different impression. Thoughts?

I don't know (or care really). It's weird because Paige looks way older than her but her dialogue makes her appear like a runaway teen.
I actually thought they looked about the same age.
That WOULD explain why she spent most of her time at her family's house.
Yeah, and the way she was sitting right next to samantha and nearly holding her hand when the latter was hallucinating said more than close friend to me.
@IronWoodLover made a post a while back, explaining that they were in fact in a relationship, in the 'Details' thread. I thought it seemed likely.
Not sure, it seems possible, although I usually need someone to do something that really confirms it before I can say for sure whether or not someone's in a relationship.
Who knows? Maybe we'll find out more in the finale.
I didnt get that impression. I thought Paige was just the babysitter or neighbor/friend.
Babysitter was my first thought but she clearly has a connection to sam that's quite strong, and sam doesnt need babysitting.
In certain dialogue with Paige you find out that she hated Sam a lot because Sam used to bully her. But now she cares a lot about her, considering their circumstances.
Im meaning the younger kids. I assumed that after the kids mother died, she just became a fixture in the house and partly a mother figure for the younger ones. She speaks about the dad like theyre close friends.

This is what Paige says when asked what she cares about. I believe it heavily suggests that they are in a relationship.

Well... I didn't say it was a fact... but it did seem likely. :P Paige's facial expression talking about Sam had... passion. Their hands also were quite close which alluded to it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I suppose it is because Paige spent a lot of time with Sam and her family when they were young. Maybe he got attached to her, to some degree. And then we have to consider that they have been stuck together for 3–4 years.
I hope so, they look cute together. Though I'm scared somethings going to happen to one of them in the finale.

Not really. I always thought Paige was more of a mother figure to sam rather then a dating relationship.
I certainly think so. The hand holding on Sam's bedside sealed the deal for me.
Personally, it didn't cross my mind at all until I saw this thread. There's definitely a possibility that they could be in a relationship or they could just have a really strong bond of friendship. Either way it's clear that Paige cares for Sam a lot which, in the end, is all that matters.

It's just speculation. If a guy was sitting next to her and talking about caring about her I reckon most people would just assume they were together.

I don't know. I wouldn't mind if that's the case, but Paige looks much older than Sam. I mean I get age is just a number after 18, but I'm not really seeing a romantic side between the two. I guess we'll find out next week.
Maybe. Paige seems to care about Sam A LOT considering cretain dialogue choices. Could be best buds or something more. Perhaps we'll never know. Telltale confirmed Sam to be 22 and Paige certainly looks older than a teen, so I'm okay with the relationship if it exists.

I feel like Paige comparing herself to Sam being a "tough shit" is like her saying that they can handle each other. So yeah maybe you're right.
It never even crossed my mind when I played. But it is entirely possible.
The only issue is that casual players aren't able to pick up on these hints, so they are wondering who the hell Paige is, which in turn, ends up with them having the impression that Telltale didn't develop her at all.
