For all you know Sam etc could pop up in later games with or without James depending on your choice in that game. Give him the gun - Alive, don't - dead.
That's something I liked about the ending, Michonne made a huge step toward recovery but didn't completely recover, as she is still having problems when she comes back in the comics.
The point was the overwhelming guilt followed Michonne around (aka. her daughter's hallucinations) and you have a choice to break free from … moreyour guilt and move on, though not immediately because healing doesn't happen overnight, or to stay and linger in the past.
Yeah but as someone said Sam is a determent death (depends on player choice) so it'd be difficult for telltale to show her ever again. I'd hope that Paige would replace her in season 3 with the two boys and as I said depending on showing him how to use the gun etc would result in one of them being there/not.
I'm not gonna lie. I was a bit dissapointed by this one. The final hallucinations of Michonne leaving her daughters with her ex-husband and the final battle between Michonne's group and the Monroe survivors I would say were the highlights. But we had to sit through quite a bit of filler and the hallucination plot thread never really went anywhere. This is probably my least favorite episode. But with that said, despite what the critics are saying, I thought this was a flawed but overall solid miniseries and I can't wait for Season 3.
It seems like you got the brunt of it. On my Xbox I had some lag at the beginning but that subsided pretty quickly after the intro. I also g… moreot this weird bug where all of the text was just gone. Like the subtitles were all black, there were no dialogue choices, only face buttons. The menu had options that you could scroll through, but you wouldn't be able to tell which was which because the words just weren't there.
Of course I know Michonne can't be in season 3 but I think all the other characters (Sam's group) could be featured in season 3 otherwise what would be the point of the Michonne game? What do you think about it?
The main point of the Michonne game was to tell Michonne's story of what she did during the time she was away during the comics. I guess it's possible for some characters to appear in season 3 like they did with 400 days but the main focus was for Michonne's story.
I just played episode 3 and I really enjoyed it! But as the episode ended I started thinking that maybe the group we met in this game could … morebe our group in season 3. I don't know if that's possible or how it could happen but at least we already know their backgrounds not like in season 2 where Clem met total strangers. Of course I know Michonne can't be in season 3 but I think all the other characters (Sam's group) could be featured in season 3 otherwise what would be the point of the Michonne game? What do you think about it?
And also I wonder if the saves for this game will be needed for season 3?
I really hope they make the effort for that in season 3, its the main thing limiting them now (along with their engine). The game looks good, acting is good, the choices are good (there just isnt pay off from them)
Yeah, the fact that it has excellent combat as well kinda makes me cringe looking back at telltale. They're not a poor company anymore. They… more don't need a proper combat system or multiplayer, but it's definitely possible for them to invest more in branching stories.
Just done playing it and it's amazing ~ telltale always good at making games !! And I'm just wondering is what would happened if michonne choose to stay with her children instead of running away with Sam lol ?
Yeah that's true. I heard Robert Kirkman said you DEFINITELY want to play Michonne before TWD S3, and there's going to be a 2 year time-skip in TWD. Also getting closer to the comics. So Michonne might play a part, but I'm not sure.

Got it as well. Holy crap, it was hilarious and incredibly stupid. Broke the immersion, but good for a cheap laugh. I replayed that scene recently and his face properly loaded in. Funny enough it's very detailed.
So while I was playing this happened.
What We Deserve: Brought to you by Assassin's Creed Unity.
And it wasn't just for that one s… morehot: every scene that guy was in over the entire finale was like that. Scarier than the walkers.
EDIT: Seems I'm not the only one. Hooray for the Xbone!
It wasn't too bad, I just restarted the game and it worked fine for the rest of the episode, though it did kind of kill the mood. At first I was wondering who thought having black subtitle text in a dimly lit room was a good idea, but then I quickly realized what had happened.
That would be hard to do considering they would have to insert Clementine into the community's conflicts since Pete is at the Kingdom. It would be cool if they could pull it off, but the choices we would be making would have to be on a smaller scale as we can't change events in the comics.
I'm hoping clementine will meet either Pete's group, or Sam, Paige and the two kids during season 3. It'd be a nice way to link the series t… moreogether, especially, as season 3 will supposedly jump forward a few years, which'll make it play out at a similar time to the Michonne mini series.
Your version of the tradeoff is so much better. Our choices would actually have consequences, and those that allowed Zachary to die would have actually had a better outcome, highlighting how choices can have unexpected results. I would feel like shit if I got Paige killed because I saved Zachary, but that would make me yell at my TV something like "I shouldn't have saved him!" or "I shouldn't have done that!", something I haven't found myself saying often in a Telltale game. Your version wouldn't even make any ramifications either, the rest of the episode could play out just as Telltale had intended with only a few changes.
Seven Point Five Flames Out Of Ten.
I'm disappointed with at they handled the negotiation. I would've rather been right and have this be … morehow it is, but it's still okay nonetheless. I like that they finally established personality for some of the minor Monroe ex-inhabitants, like Gabby. Norma not giving a shit for Gabby and Zachary, two who have been hinted at being of the earliest members of her community, seemed out of character to me. Can't be the only one.
In the end, Norma died either way at our hands. I don't know how I feel about that. If I was given the choice, I would've… I don't know… left the fight at some point. Her death was fucking horrific. Horrible. The most violent I recall. I was disgusted by it. That woman really didn't deserve it, especially considering that we burned her community down and that Sam had in fact stolen the bags.
Which leads me to, Sam started this whole mess up, this time it's confirmed!
Telltale… [view original content]
Thank you, a lot! I wasn't expecting such reception when I posted that prediction, to be honest; I didn't think it was good, just probable. That makes me feel better about my story-telling skills.

Do I detect a bit of Aussie in there? Kinda sounds like you have lived in the US or Canada for a bit as well as Australia or New Zealand. I'm I in the ballpark here?
Oh boy. To be completely honest, I was a bit disappointed by the finale. The whole Randall charging at Michonne scene was so stupid and Zachary randomly dying... Way to make our choices meaningless Telltale. The hallucinations were getting really annoying, I think they overdid it this episode. And that last choice, just what. Why the hell would you as the player decided to stay with hallucination kids?
I really enjoyed the big hub we got, I hope Telltale will bring more of these in the future titles. Surprisingly, the length didn't really bother me. But maybe next time if you plan on releasing such short episodes, Telltale, just drop the price a bit.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks this guy looks like the stereotypical Frenchman. The beret, the mustache... He just needs a baguette and he's good to go.

Episode was great. Whoever wrote the script should be brought back more because the dialogue stepped up so much. Like a lot, seriously there… more were some great quotes from all characters. The length was small but oh well, I watched a play through because I wasn't about to spend five dollars on a fifty five minute game. I actually got sad at the end when Michonne said goodbye to her daughters, but I felt it was necessary (should've been cannon, Sam could be determinant somewhere else) because she had to move on with her life. Great episode but the only thing I thought was weak were the choices. So 7.5/10.
Seriously, get whoever wrote the character scripts to come back (They don't have to create the plot but please make them write the dialogue) because that dialogue was really, really good.

So, this was like the coolest thing ever. First of all, definitely my favorite Telltale Series in a while, sorry Tales, I just love Michonne… more more. This was an absolutely fan FUCKING tastic episode, and when Michonne killed Norma, not gonna lie, I paused my game, walked away from my PC, and squealed like a little girl. Yeah, that's right, I fucking schoolgirl fangasmed at Michonne's badassery. That's how much I loved it. The entire episode was disturbing, ominous, badass, action packed, interesting and well choreographed. Exactly how Walking Dead should be. I was a bit upset about the hour runtime or how we didn't get to at least see Michonne's return to Alexandria (or just Rick and the others), but it was still amazing! If any of the writers, or animators or whatever the fuck are reading this, I love you. Marry me. (Not really though but you're a fucking awesome mother fucker.)
This episode was a definite 10/10 for me, Episode One was a 4/… [view original content]
Just finished the episode after finally tearing myself away from Alien: Isolation (<-- been addicted to that since I got it, so.. like two days I guess?...)
Anyway, it turned out to be better than I thought. I was sort of disappointed in the beginning for some reason, maybe because it was just so calm most of the time. But then I got used to it and got extremely immersed in the story (as usual.) The amount of possible scenarios before the fire scene seems large while playing (even though it might not be many), but it was a good feeling nonetheless while playing. I love that feeling.
The ending was quite sad, I actually cried when Michonne was saying goodbye to her children... and then cried even more after I killed Sam by staying with the daughters for a bit longer. (Why! WHY SAM?!) I mean, I just wanted Michonne to get closure with her children. And then a nice song leading into the credits. Ahh, Telltale, I love your games. (If I was good at rating stuff, I think I'd give this a 9 or 9.5)
Until Dawn came to mind but it wasn't "mentioned" through the connecting of zombies to the Wendigo. They mentioned a folklore creature, not Until Dawn.
Another thing, Alex refering walkers as Wendigo, I'm not the only one who remembered Until Dawn when he said that, right? I was like "Until Dawn, why the fuck are you mentioned in a telltale game?"

Yikes you're right. I completely forgot about that.
Maybe. What later games though? TWD S3?

Annual episode bingo card!
3 episodes and still no bingo. Damn you noncliched writing! Ah well, maybe season 3 will see me through.
I absolutely loved these! Please keep them up for Season 3.
Damn that sucks. I'd hate to have that happen. Mine just made the game hilarious when it was suppose to be dead serious.

I'm from England, but I get that mistake a lot. I've had people thinking I'm from Australia more than once.
Finale was rushed in my opinion. Especially the trade-over.
Huh. Well I guess I shouldn't ever pursue a career in linguistics since I'm an Aussie myself and got that waaaay wrong lol

Perhaps a French gentlemen captain of fine sea worthy vessel....that's now at the bottom of the sea floor.
Aw thanks. I passed this along to the rest of the writing team as well.
How's this?
Glad you enjoyed it so much This message made a lot of people on the team very happy.
I'm glad! They deserve to be happy for making such an awesome game!
Is that onions around his neck or just the jacket? xD
Garlic, of course. For the vampires.
It is a French post-apocalyptic trend to set baguettes on fire, if you're wondering. Somebody in my crew does it, all the time. It's fucking annoying.

Why on earth would you stay with a pair of hallucinations?
Nah, that's just the jacket. I didn't even think of adding onions myself, just the mustache and baguette.
Still. That game taught a lot of players about Wendigo
Oh leave it, u guys will never understand our emotions ... i hugged them too....
Whats hub? is that when u can move by urself & to explore things or something?
