Issue 154 Discussion
Woah... Really good issue, if you ask me. Negan finally meets the Whisperers and seems to want to join them, and is seemingly attracted to Alpha (I'm guessing Beta is her mate, who seems like another interesting character and antagonist. I loved Negan's puns during the introduction, he's so badass. XD) We find out the name of the girl talking to Eugene, and Aaron gets wounded. What do you think will happen next? I think Negan's gonna want to take out Beta so he takes his place as Alpha's partner, and I'm not sure about what's gonna happen to Aaron.

I agree that it was a good issue, i liked Negan's interaction with the whisperers and i thought the last panel was was interesting

I'm pretty sure Aaron is dead as that was a pretty big knife and he was stabbed in the stomach, with the walkers around i don't think there will be a chance to save him unless the whisperers have a change of heart.

Why do they listen and hear out Negan but try to kill Michonne and Aaron. I dont get it.
They recognize Michonne and Aaron, thus they're trespassing after they clearly marked their border
In the case of Negan, none of them know who he is, and think he's just a random traveler that stumbled across their land
Damn whoever predicted Negan would be in love with Alpha... I swear someone posted something like that a couple of discussions ago.
I sometimes feel this way too.
I admit, Alpha does look rather alluring and attractive in this issue...I can see why Negan want to hit that.
Take a look at the cover of issue 156, It wasn't that hard to predict.
I think he'd rather use Lucille 2 in that case.
I totally liked Negan's joke. And I'm pretty sure Aaron is just wounded. Hopefully Rick will try to get Michonne and Aaron back.
Some folks complained, but I thought it was a really good issue. Negan's dialogue was on point, and excellent cliffhanger with Aaron getting stabbed at the end.

Love Negan, not really sure what's going through his mind. Whether he's being genuine about joining the Whisperers, or planning to destroy them, either way is awesome.
Beta is interesting as hell. I hope they move the story towards Beta challenging Alpha. He seems like a meaner version of her.
As for Aaron, his life is in the hands of Beta. And I think Michonne's life is in Alpha's hands.

I'm glad they're doing what they're doing with Negan. He has too much potential to merely be locked up in cell for the rest of the comic.

Negan takes over the walking dead whenever he's on, it becomes The Negan show! lol
I hope they do his backstory some day, really interested in how he came to be.
