Are Kenny and Jane walkers now?
When you make the tough choice to kill either one of them, their deaths go as follows:
- Kenny is shot in the stomach by Clementine.
- Kenny is shot in the head by Clementine.
- Jane is stabbed in the neck by Kenny.
Other than the choice where you let Kenny kill Jane, then decide to shoot him in the head...the other two deaths were not a shot to the head. Kenny and Jane both died in those deaths without being shot in the head, which is how they cannot reanimate. So...Kenny/Jane is a walker now, correct? You just don't see them come back since you leave the area. Do you think they would be? Continuing with the theme of the game, the answer should be yes.
I've just never seen other people think about this before, and I don't know if it's ever been said. Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I tried to find other people mentioning it and I couldn't.

Yeah they're probably walkers by this point. In fact they should have turned 2 minutes after the fight.
Heads up; The spoiler tag is kinda negated by the title giving away the spoiler.
Not necessarily, how long it takes to turn varies from person to person, so you can't really say they would have turned only 2 minutes after the fight. Some people can turn quick, some take a little more time, like hours or even days.
Oops, sorry. I just joined and I have no idea how this works tbh.
Yes, it always a minor problem in this game for me how people leave their friends bodies without finishing them off. Alvin, Carlos, Luke, Omid (presumably), determinantly Sarita, Pete, Nick (determinant death, not the fence bullshit) and also Kenny/Jane reanimated. And that's just in Season 2.
I think the time variation only applies to how long it takes to somebody to die from the infection the bite triggers. Comparing, let's say, Brie to Duck, one was bitten multiple times and died seconds later, while the other one was bitten once, and survived around sixteen hours.
Kenny and Jane were still alive, and didn't die to a bite wound, so I don't see why time would variate, other than what it normally does in real life—maybe a couple of minutes. If I'm not wrong, I don't think we've ever seen an example of notable time difference between people who died the same way.
In the comics and the show, we've seen the turn times differentiate from person to person. Someone like Amy took hours to finally turn after she died, Dr. Edwin Jenner (who said the time it takes varies from person to person) said that his subject took about two hours, and in the comics, it was revealed that Shawn Greene took days to finally become a walker, while we've seen people like Mr. Parker/Travis and Rebecca turn almost immediately after dying. While the time it takes for the bite to kill the person also varies, so does the time it takes for the person to come back. It's never really been confirmed as to why this is, it could be the cause of death, maybe getting bit somehow slows it while dying from gunshots or other methods quickens it, but that's never really been confirmed.
Amy, Dr. Edwin's wife and Shawn Greene all died because of a bite wound. I see where you're going with David Parker, Travis and Rebecca though, but they didn't really die the same way—gunshot, amputation, and hypothermia combined with exhaustion and blood loss—so we can't compare them and expect accurate results. This is harder than it looks, I just realized.
That is an interesting theory indeed, @MetallicaRules! I'm looking forward to hearing Robert Kirkman talk about how long reanimation on non-bitten corpses takes.
Edit: Shit, huge typo fixed! My apologies.
Most people use asterisk instead of the name to not show the spoilers on the tittle, but you don't really need to use this tags for TWD season 1 & 2, since it already ended a lot of time ago and we just assume that everyone on the forum has already played it
Oh, okay. I figured that was the case, that it's not really "spoilers" after it's been out for a while. But I just tagged the post as one anyway.
Could have turned into zombies, then the heavy snow came and turned them into zombcicles (frozen zombies).
Following the logic of the game, they'd have to had turned into walkers at some point, I wonder if this decision will come back to haunt Clementine in Season 3? Like she might end up running into a Kenny or Jane walker depending on the ending(if they make those have an effect).
Somebody help i forgot how to start a discussion
To be fair, many of those deaths prevented any of them from receiving help in the first place. Clementine couldn't put down Alvin because Tavia was chasing her. No one could put down Carlos because they were all in the middle of a horde. No one could put down Luke because he was in a freezing lake. No matter which ending Pete got, Clementine and possibly Nick are getting chased out by zombies before they can do anything (at least someone put him down in the Pete storyline). I do think someone could have put Nick down in episode 2 though, and Omid I just assume Christa put down off-screen because she doesn't seem like the type to leave a loved one to become a zombie.
I think there's a possibility that Luke/Alvin found and put down Pete if you went with Nick. Rebecca says Luke and Alvin went out to look for Clementine and the rest, so there's a chance they might have came across Pete.
Just say Jane>Kenny or Jane<Kenny , a big discussion will start in .001 seconds
stabbed through the heart*
But yeah, they're probably walkers by now, except the scenario if you shoot Kenny in the head. A person cannot get zombified if they're hurt in the brain well enough.
Didn't they say they didn't know who shot him since they all found his body?
An idea that's been floating around in my head is having a sequence in S3 where some of the characters come across the rest stop, and either they come across a zombified Jane with the knife still stuck in her chest, a zombified Kenny, or both a zombified Jane and the partially devoured body of Kenny, depending on your choices
Yes they are. And that makes me sad. I wish Clem would've stabbed their brain.
Kenny will be back... Better than ever!
@Deltino is talking about the cases in which Pete is devored at the stream. Luke and Alvin knew that they were going fishing there, so it's possible that they crossed paths with a reanimated Pete and put him down.
Except they never mentioned that. Seems like something worth sharing.

Kenny with Alvin Presley jawline, girls will go crazy!
Well, there was a time-skip of five days, starting ten minutes after they left the cabin. A lot can happen in five days—namely, two entire Michonne Miniseries and an escape from Howe's until we reach the abandoned house of a Russian-American group of random people.
Wait, I'm talking about how you find Pete's body before the time skip if you went with him. Erp-a-derp.
Well, but everyone else plus the one who started the conversation were talking about the other route. No need for insulting slang, especially when it isn't being used correctly.
Jane is a walker, Kenny is off having an adventure
When Clementine was asleep, Kenny hung zombie Jane from a tree like a pinata and beat her till candy came out.
The erp-a-derp was referring to myself.
that is fucking frightening no thank you
