"In Too Deep"
Did you try to end it?
I lowered the gun, without a second thought. I don't think this needs elaboration.
How did you enter the abandoned ferry?
I climbed the ladder, though I like the other route, because you fight off a couple of walker and the image of the scavengers' deaths are a lot more visual, and give you a deeper insight of what happened with Randall's crew, the scavengers, and the previous ferry inhabitants. The upside of climbing the ladder is that you discover Rashid and Vanessa passed through the ferry at some point.
Did you try to take the duffel bag from Samantha?
I did not. We had no reason at all to take it from her, and it establishes the protagonist and the deutagonist as thieves, and in my eyes, morally-wrong people. So people can bash on Sam from stealing from Norma, but we are allowed to steal that very same bag from her?
Did you ambush Randall in the store room?
I did not do it, and I am glad I didn't, seeing how it gives away that we are attempting to flee, and also ends with a wounded Michonne and an unconscious Sam.
Did you tell Norma you have a boat?
I didn't, although I like that Janey gets a mention if you do confess about The Companion.
Did you sell Greg out to Norma?
Apparently, yes I did. I said that he wasn't telling the truth, from our point of view. I despise Randall for beating him up, and I don't blame Greg for saying what he says. He either says that they're just them four, which is partly true, or he says that there's more of them, and that they are armed which is true too—remember that there was John, Paige and the kids, plus a bag of handguns, and three rifles.
Did you let Sam shoot Zachary?
I controlled Michonne's mind and told her to stop Sam. Zachary, as much as he is responsible for Greg's death—because he is—didn't have to die if it could be stopped. And I also took into consideration that the bullets fired would cause mass desperation and panick among the colonists, which surprisingly wasn't the case.
"Give No Shelter"
Did you keep Pete with you, or let him go off on his own?
I let Pete surrender, and I knew that my choice was okay when Gabby told him "alright, keep your hands up." I truly forgot that he had plot armor for a minute.
Did you promise to help Sam tell her dad about Greg's death?
I advices her to tell the truth. Had I been in John's shoes, I wouldn't want to be lied about the fate of my son, nor I would want a stranger to be the one to tell me the news.
How did you use the bottle of alcohol during the operation?
Was this choice there for anticlimactic comedic relief?
You and 90.7% of players say yes.
Did you pick up the phone or go after the footsteps in the hallway?
I picked up the phone. To be fair, both Donna and Vanessa give you valuable information about Elodie and Collete's whereabouts, but I will confess that disappointed that #DoorOrPhone2k16 didn't play a bigger role during the third episode.
Did you reveal to Paige that you nearly committed suicide?
I just expressed sympathy for the kids. For those who didn't know, if you do tell her, she will tell you that she has thought about committing suicide, and imply that Sam has been what has stopped her. She then brushes it off by saying that she is a bad shot.
How did you handle the radio call from Norma?
First, I got Randall to talk to her, if I remember correctly, though I can't really recall. All I know is that I spoke to Norma, but I can't tell if it was in the first or second chance. By the way, I can't be the only one who wanted Paige to address the call. This is what I wanted!
What did you do to Randall?
I "killed" him, but I regretted it the next day. Some of you might remember that I pleaded for anyone to make my confirmation bias happy and tell me that I could change my choice. Well… I did! Yes, I am a shame. You don't have to tell me.
"What We Deserve"
Did you let Sam bury her father?
As much as I was against the idea of burning time on a funeral, I helped Sam bury her father. I knew I did the right decision when she said that Alex wasn't there for Sophia's funeral and that he should be there for this.
Did you tell Alex what happened to his father?
I sugarcoated and told him that a bad man hurt his father. Seriously, these two kids ended up in Oceanside, a big community. I don't want them to be scarred for life because I was too blunt.
Did you hand Randall over to Norma?
Yes, I did hand him over, and I saved Oak! What was the point of asking for Oak—and in some cases, Siddiq too—when you had he chance of actually making the trade? And I wasn't going to signal Paige to shoot Norma, for fuck's sake!
Did you signal Paige to shoot Norma?
Well, that's funny! I was just talking about this. Anyway, signaling Paige seemed risky as hell, because she either hit and Norma would end up wounded or dead, which would lead to a firefight, or she would miss, and everyone would know that we had a sniper, and Oak could've been killed because of it. I like choices like this, when you don't know for sure what's going to happen, except for the speculation your brain does while the timer is burning off.
Did you put Norma out of her misery?
She didn't deserve to be stolen from, she and her people didn't deserve to lose their home, she didn't deserve to be amputated, nor bitten, and certainly not devored. I wasn't gonna let her suffer like that. Besides, it's something that we can all overlook, but she even went to the extent of taking a risk and moving what remained of her colony to the Fairbanks house, where they could've been eaten or ambushed by bandits.
Did you choose to leave your daughters or stay with them?
I left them. I believe that if the back-and-forth between reality and the hallucination had been executed differently, a lot more people would have stayed. Imagine you are with your daughters, and that is what you see in the screen. Not the fire, not Samantha, but your daughters. Then dialogue options pop up, and there's also an [action] button, saying "leave your daughters." There is also a voice-over of Samantha saying "we have to go" or something along those lines, but you can't see her. Picking any of the dialogue options would result in the outcome you get today when picking "stay with them." That is what Michonne saw in her head, and that is hoe the final choice should've been. Michonne didn't consciously decide to stay; she just, talked to them, if you get what I mean.
