I believe that in the teaser, whomever they are looking for, took AJ. Thoughts on where AJ is, or on who they are looking for?

I think they're gonna pull an Omid on him.
I would assume that if your choices from Season 3 matter and depending if you let Kenny or Jane live that one of them is taking care of AJ, but the idea he may of been kidnapped by a camp similar to Carver's is a possibility as well. But then again notice in the trailer one of the zombies has a symbol tattooed on his neck along with Javier. I cannot help but think back to Season one in relation to Crawford of how people were being turned into zombies and used for sick twisted experiments, something tells me we are going to see a repeat of that and AJ maybe involved in that type of situation.

I would assume back at their base(Wellington?), because she wouldn't take him on runs/hunts. Also since these games are all about choice I hope there is an option to give AJ to somebody, because I don't want him.
I don't recall any experiments back at Crawford.
Assuming they have a home base/camp he's probably back there, unless Clem, Javier and Aj are on their own at this point.
I'm holding onto the belief that he'll end up dying in the game. Somehow, AJ will end up getting bitten and we'll be forced to choose whether we kill him as his zombified-self.

He somehow turned into a walker. Which explains the fact Clem is missing her finger in the trailer - She has to cut it off after he bites her.

If blood infected by walker saliva takes about thirty seconds to go from the hand to the forearm—just a round estimate—then how will Clementine manage to sever in time the tip of her freaking kid's finger! You have to take into consideration that she'd taken even longer in getting a knife and mentally preparing herself to cut her own finger.
Oh and also, if the amputation took place at the half of her finger, then AJ would've had to bite like the tip of her freaking nail.
if aj still alive he would be 2 maybe 3 at a long shot he would be at a community like Crawford but less stricter
Or Howes with a Carver-like figure but less crazy. There is also that Wellington choice.
