Ah, yes. I remember that game. I loved to play as the villains for once for a second campaign.
I really wished other games did that type of stuff, it's just so cool. "So you finished the story, eh? Well looky here! It's another one from a different perspective! Have fun!". But, it is pretty uncommon, as that would take too much time and money for the devs. Whatever. Video games will always be cool and innovative (sort of.)
If the game is titled Batman, then I think it should be Batman whose playable, or perhaps do a 2 sides story kind of like with Tales from th… moree Borderlands, except one is Batman and the other is a Villain. Kind of like what they did with LEGO Batman: The Video Game.
I think that the game should have multiple protagonists, as playing as just Batman would probably be boring. I doubt Telltale will give us a villainous cast, much as I'd love to play as the bad guys, but I could see them incorporating one or two more morally ambiguous characters. As for who I'd want to play as, any of the rogues gallery would be fun, Gordon could be interesting, as could Nightwing, but I'd really like to see Cassandra Cain as Batgirl make an appearance as a protagonist rather than the obvious choice of Barbara Gordon.
If we're going with unrealistic expectations, I'd like to play as the villains, obviously. Scarecrow, Two Face, Black Mask, Ra's Al Ghul, Freeze, Harley and Ivy would make a really interesting and fun playable cast.
It could take the GOT and TWD route and engulf us in the world of Batman but as original characters. Maybe we will control Batman's newest sidekick and/or a fresh new cop in the GCPD
Harley Quinn:
* cool outfits
* well-developed character with no strict morality
* surviving LGBT+ character
* came from an adaptation and was incorporated into canon
* is rarely playable outside of the LEGO Batman games

Well since it's a Batman game, I'd imagine you'd play as Batman.
I'd like that we could play as both Batman and Gordon. I think that James could have some good moral choices.

I expect that it will be only Bruce. It would be awesome to play as someone else but, a solo adventure from The Dark Knight is what I am eager about.

The point of the thread isn't to speculate on who you're playing, it's asking who you would want to play as, no matter how unlikely it is.
