Yeah now that you mention it Christa being in Rebecca's place and naming the baby OJ would have definitely lead to some controversy and turned heads...
I feel like season 2 would have been much better if Rebecca and Alvin were replaced with Christa and Omid. Their deaths would have been much more impactful and people would care more for the baby than Aj.
It's an innocent, helpless baby. My Clementine would care no matter who the parents were. I think a slim majority of players would be more emotionally invested in a baby being Christa and Omid's though. (Sad) Rebecca and Alvin were kind of lackluster and forgettable as far as characters go.
Absolutely. If the kid was Christa and Omid's i would have felt much better about it being there. They took care of Clem, i would take care of their kid, no questions.
On the other hand, the Cabin group was a mess from the beginning. A broken group, that i wanted to get away from ASAP. No such luck though. Instead i am held captive, shot at, denied medical treatment and then snarked (yelled) at by multiple members of their group. Then forced to babysit a chick who is older than i am, then forced to go wherever their 'no plan at all' plan takes them. With or without my consent, apparently. Carlos actually has the gall to say i will be safer with them - but still wont tell me who they are running from.
If Rebecca wouldn't have made her personal problems into her whole groups problems she couldve raised her own damn kid. I mean we don't really know what went on at Howes with her and Carver and Alvin. But i really don't think Carver raped her. And if he did? What the Fuck is he doing still walking around, Alvin? Huh?!
