You also have to look at the scene in the trailer, she constantly told Clem to leave her behind. I understand her reasons for saying it but doesn't make it all ok. Without even wanting to try?
Her attitude simply doesn't matter.
Ok so why does a lot of people say it matters when Kenny's attitude is at fault but not Jane's?
At least she does it. If I was in her situation I wouldn't want to do it either tbh. I understand that the whole Sarah situation was very sad and unfair, but Jane did not have to save her, she does multiple times. Her attitude simply doesn't matter.
We're not talking about Kenny though, not once was this about him. Walkers were surrounding them and Sarah was not moving, there really was no time. I saved her either way, but Jane had a point.

Oh i know that, however, in previous posts it seems people think Kenny having an attitude is unnacceptable, yet with Jane you say it doesn't matter? Anyway don't worry, im not trying to cause an argument, just making a point.
As for what i said, it still stands. Good points or not, it just seemed like she didn't want to even try, even if it was dangerous

she is one of highlights of s2. she only appear in 3 episodes but writers obviously did amazing job because most people chose her over kenny (a character that has been in game since beginning) in the end.
Well I'm not other people, so I don't know what to say about that. I mean I'd rather her do it with a crap attitude than her not doing it at all. I guess we can agree to disagree.

i come back a year later and i still got people hating on my girl Jane?
I loved her rawness and how upfront she was, even though some people saw her as mean and cold, but that is exactly how it should be during the end of the world. She made several good points about how not everyone is going to survive, and hanging on to weak people is going to make you worse. Shes severely misunderstood.
I always hated her.
At first, it was because she was a fuckin' Molly spinoff, but after that...as soon as she tried to convince me to leave Sarah behind, I knew exactly what kind of person she was.
Nooo...she's a bad person for insisting that would happen because " she's just like my beloved sister Jaime(may she rest in peace)", yet being the one ultimately responsible for setting up the 2nd death and having the nerve to duck around any real responsibility or consequences for it by slipping away and feigning remorse.^
^Though, to be honest/fair, that seemed like it could've been partially genuine and you can just blame that on * shudders * bad writing.
Really?!As in saved or went with?
Of course, some people will definitely argue that her(and Kenny's) "amazingness" is one of the problems with the season as a whole.
Ok. I suppose that does have a lot of appeal to it, since I do plan on getting it on my third playthrough...if I decide to go through an "Edgy!Clementine" playthrough, that is.

That is because the writers decided to turn Kenny into a villain in the final episodes of season 2. Also if it was Jane on top of Kenny with the knife i think you'd find that people would have chosen Kenny over her, especially if his character hadn't been made in such a negative way

I only replied like this to the commenter because they said that Jane is a "lying, manipulative bitch" as if it were a fact, when in reality, it is an opinion.
The difference is vital. I might say that Erin is a fucking bitch—reference for comic readers—but first I have to acknowledge that it's my opinion.
I still have trouble comprehending the whole "Kenny is a villain" thing, but I'd like to think I'm making progress.
I definitely agree with the Jane on Kenny thing, though it also reminds me of how annoyed I was that he wins that fight 100% of the time, meaning you have to either shoot him or let Jane get stabbed and no real difference.

I really liked her. she was a ''work-in-progress'' to me and I feel I made the right choice by giving her another chance. I won't give no more chances though, but I will get my answer hopefully when season 3 drops and we know what happened to them. it will break my heart if she left us or worse if she died.... since in one of the screenshots we see clem with Alvin Jr, I have a bad feeling to whomever we chose to stay with or not,

Yeah the most likely to survive part is something that is VITAL in the apocalypse. Kenny was acting like he was about to breast feed the baby and he has had outbursts which all lead me to think he's a little crazy.
Some people act like in the apocalypse literally anybody can get through if they put the tiniest of effort in. Logic > emotion.
She's a survivor. More likely to live than anyone else. Well, before she got attached to Clem then she can die. I was really pissed at her … morefor her "plan" but she was kinda right about Kenny going bonkers. I'm not saying baby stealing is good, I'm just saying Kenny = cray. Anyone who isn't Clem or AJ is in danger, and people who play TWD tend to forget that point, and just care about Clem, or themselves by extension.
Which is why Jane let her emotions get the best of her and logic'd up a poorly thought out plan to convince Clementine to leave Kenny, only for her to go apeshit herself when he actually attacks her and starts going after him.

Determinant characters sadly have no purpose once they become determinant. I am hoping in season 3, this changes but i don't hold a lot of confidence that it will. I am fearing that Kenny/Jane will not even be in the game and just be mentioned in dialogue which to me if that happens is just bloody lazy by Telltale and i think disrespectful to the characters

I am a Janiac. Great character.

I hate her. I left her ass when she manipulated me to shoot my friend. She had it coming.

She left a baby helpless and alone. Yeah, she's totally awesome.
that was actually very smart of her. just like when she says to clem to leave sarah to death in trailer. kenny & sarah were both unstable.
Well I'm not other people, so I don't know what to say about that. I mean I'd rather her do it with a crap attitude than her not doing it at all. I guess we can agree to disagree.
This is my opinion man. She is nothing but a troublemaker, she deserved to be ditched

^^ you are right
At first I thought she was cool, but then I realized that she was just a lying, manipulative bitch.
Shes a bad person for pointing out that Sarah was a liability, and even if you continued to save her she'd always manage to kill herself either way?
I...don't know what you're trying to say...

Edit: OOPS wrong thread sorry lmfoa
Sorry to burst your bubble but there is absolutely no chance at all that Negan will be in season 3.
Wrong thread here, fellas.
ending with jane and the family in howes has biggest percentage.
Ok. I suppose that does have a lot of appeal to it, since I do plan on getting it on my third playthrough...if I decide to go through an "Edgy!Clementine" playthrough, that is.
Fixed.
A girl can dream
Um no not if he or she believes that? Fixing it to how you want isn't right dude!
I think you'll find that there isn't that many on these forums that hate on her actually

about posting in the wrong thread.

I liked her up until No Going Back. Then my respect just slowly started to fade. Apocalypse or real world, I hate it when people are manipulative.

I'm not claiming it's a fact. It should be pretty obvious that it's my opinion
You do?
Ah ok. That's why i always say at the end of my posts "in my opinion" just so people don't misunderstand me when i'm giving my views
Yas. One of the few character's I legitimately hate for a myriad of reasons. I might repost a quick summary(with a few touch ups) later.
