Shawn. (I panicked)
Doug. (Couldn't find Carley's cursor but I don't regret saving him at all, he's a good character.)
David.
Omid. Poor guy hurt his leg broken and it was my fault
Danny. But I've done both pretty often.
Pete. I liked him more than Nick. I still have the same opinion two years later.
Sarah. I tried my best to save her every time.
Kenny. In my first playthrough, I panicked and shot him, but I went back and let Jane die instead. Then left Wellington with him.
"Nick's father wasn't there much, and he was a piece of shit when he was, so it fell to me to keep him in line. Raise him right. Meant I couldn't just be nice Uncle Pete"
"Sometimes you gotta play a role... Even if it means people you love hate you for it"
"Nobody in this world is ever gonna give a goddamn whether you like something or not. You gotta GROW UP son"
All in all, he just wanted Nick to toughen up, since the world they live in is not for weak people.

I suspected that gangbanger was a term that is not safe for work, to put it lightly.
And now I seem like a hypocrite because I didn't consider that until after the fact. Guess that's what I get for trrying to be ''with it'' when I don't "give a shit". My mistake.
I only remember that stuff because I did a TVTropes-lead YouTube watch for funny Mute!Russel playthroughs.
Not sure how you got confused about that.
I suspected that gangbanger was a term that is not safe for work, to put it lightly. A ten… more second search on Google confirmed my suspicion, so, uh, let's just say that this was a conflict of meaning and leave it at that.
Or you can search gangbanger for yourself. I don't know.
Also, did we speak recently? I don't recall.
I asked you about Jane's supposed bisexuality.
Perfectly understandable. When I saw a guide that claimed that saving Justin is the key to getting Vince to join(which might BS, btw) I just replayed and put up with him for the sake of getting the best ending.
Yeah, I can understand your choice, too. I guess I acted impulsively since I found out he could be a rapist and I didn't trust him when he s… moretarted making excuses (I think? , I don't really remember). But I don't regret my choice, because it simply didn't really matter at the end . I mean Vince's part of the Season 2 story was just 2-3 lines, and that was it. Same goes for Russell, Wyatt, Shel and Becca.
Kinda got off-topic, sorry about that.

I am not sure what you are saying.
Warning - long af post which probably doesn't matter to you but I'm a jerk sooo
* Duck though I wish I chose Shawn knowing that Kenny h… moreelped Duck too. (I have a main save when I first playthrough and I can't change any decisions I make. I recommend for any new TellTale games, because it's frustrating yet exciting at the same time.)
* Doug, I picked him at first because my brain instantly thought NERD U GOTTA PICK HIM, and upon seeing the massive preference for Carley I continue to choose Dough Boy if I replay for fun.
* Travis, I dun goofed when I first played this part and didn't realise you could cut David's leg off, oh well.
* Omid because his leg was fucked and the whole looks at moving train "Scary." looks at horde "SCARIER." pushes Lee stunt cracked me up until he hurt himself.
* Justin, I was going to choose Danny because he was more chill but then I remembered why he was on that prison bus and picked Justin. What all … [view original content]
Shawn -Shawn was in that predicament due to Duck's foolishness/naivety. I always go with my gut in my first play through, and I didn't want to see Shawn die for such a stupid reason.
Doug -Doug was grabbed from behind and had no weapon (with bullets or without). He was in a poorer position to defend himself than Carley, so I chose to help him. I liked Carley, but I never regretted my decision to save Doug. Had I been Carley, I would have clocked that walker with my gun. Improvise!
David -I felt he deserved my help. He had been helping his students survive since the outbreak when he had no real obligation to. (I think knowing Ben and based on my first impression of Travis, they would not have lasted that long without David)
Omid. -Christa could hold her own. I didn't see Omid being able to make the train with his injury. I couldn't let him be a meal for walkers because of a limp!!
Justin. -I'm honestly not sure why I chose to shoot Danny. I think he would have been a better survivor than Justin and probably more loyal. Maybe the nature of his crime didn't sit well with me??
Nick. -Pete was already bitten. It's been shown that amputation is not always successful in stopping the spread of the infection. Also having an amputee in a group that had escaped someone dangerous and had people chasing them didn't sound like a good idea, so I chose to help Nick.
Sarah. -Saving Sarah kind of went against the survivalist logic I used in the previous choice, but I had faith in her. Her handicap was emotional, not physical. I hoped she would have an epiphany of sorts, mature, and start contributing/looking out for herself.
Jane. Killing Kenny was not an easy choice, but he had become too much of a loose cannon; too unpredictable. Jane was cold and manipulative, but she wasn't rash. I knew her for what she was. While there are aspects of her personality I distrusted/disagreed with, I also respected her and saw her as a valuable companion.
I never understood that scene. They just shoot Danny's/Justin's foot, and instead of helping him they leave him there to die!?
He just lost a foot! He could survive that...

I think that was where the whole survival of the fittest thing kicks in. If you wait to long, the walkers will break down the cage and all three are presumably devoured while still chained. In Danny's case, he is likely a little to heavy and if Vince's decision was influenced by the statutory rape charge, he probably wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to help the guy, not matter how nice has seems. In Justin's case, he is much more of an asshole victim, since he not only admits to having no remorse for his crimes, but he outright encourages Vince to screw over their fellow prisoners and just leave them to be killed by the guard or the walkers. In either case, they are on a time limit, and the ending credits shows that the amputee didn't crawl very far before being jumped by the walkers.
Shawn or Duck?
I saved Duck because my rational thinking was 'kids first men later'
Carley or Doug?
Carley was my pick cause she could shoot (sorry Doug)
Travis or David?
David cause he was the one trapped didn't even know I could save Travis
Omid or Christa?
I picked Omid thinking Christa could get on herself
Danny or Justin?
I don't remember who these two are soooo shrug
Nick or Pete?
Nick I mean Pete was bit I'm not saving a dead man
Jane or Sarah? (if you didn't leave her at the trailer park)
Jane duh then again I left Sarah at the trailer park
Kenny or Jane?
Kenny...didn't trust Jane one bit
Shawn or Duck? - Shawn. I'll be honest, I chose him because he's attractive. Inserting this kinda choice so early in the game between two barely developed characters is uneffective. I didn't know Duck or Shawn so I just shrugged and chose him.
Carley or Doug? - Carley. Another badly inserted choice. The development of the two characters was unbalanced. We get more dialogue options when talking to Carley and we also get a subplot which gives us background on her character when completed. I think the devs thought that the fact that she knew about Lee's past would've made her more leavable? No, just no. It makes her character even more interesting in my opinion (and I ended up being right since we get the option to tell the group what happened in Lee's past).
Travis or David? - David. This wan't presented as a chose x or chose y choice, but I ended up 'choosing' David (David is the teacher, right?). Idk...
Omid or Christa? Omid (I'm not sure, but I think so) and then Christa...? I chose to save Omid on the train, sure, but as his presence became more and more pointless to the story and Christa's character started to grow on me, I wished I had chosen Christa. This was one of the most pointless choices in the whole game so whatever.
Danny or Justin? - Justin. I liked him more, that's it.
Nick or Pete? - Nick. Just like Shawn vs Duck and Doug vs Carley, I thought this was a bad choice to be inserted so early in the game. I didn't care about either, actually I had a strong dislike for Nick and I was sick on Pete being dumb af ('Oh, look! Dead bodies! Let's look at em!' HURRR) and the game trying to force me into bonding with him by presenting that uninteresting story about hunting some animal. I ended up going with Nick because Pete was bitten and I'm not suicidal.
Jane or Sarah? - Originally Sarah, now Jane. In my first playthrough I saved Sarah from the trailer park, something that I now regret. She ended up sufering even more. Then, we get the choice to tell Jane to go help Sarah (and this was not presented as a save x or save y choice) and I chose that. If I could go back, I'd leave Sarah in the trailer park and 'chose' Jane over her.
Kenny or Jane? - Originally Kenny, now Jane. I was a Kenny Fanatic/Kenny Apologist/Kennsplainer back in the days. I changed my choice. Not proud of it, but I had to. I wonder how I could justify leaving a friend to be murdered. Just sitting there while someone killed another without any plausible reason. I also wouldn't bear spending another Season with... him, so I had to go back. Thankfully, those days are behind me.
Shawn or Duck?
I saved Duck. Had Shawn lived, he would have felt way too guilty.
Carley or Doug?
Carley all the way. I like Doug but Carley is...CARLEY
Travis or David?
I cut David's leg off so...
Omid or Christa?
I'm assuming you mean who I pulled up first? Omid. I'm not gonna save Christa just because she's a woman. Omid was injured.
Danny or Justin?
I can't remember, but I think I saved Danny. I felt like Justin would be the one to stab me in the back
Nick or Pete?
Nick. Pete was dead anyways.
Jane or Sarah?
I wasnt going to lose Jane for Sarah. Jane was more capable than Sarah. Sorry!
Kenny or Jane?
I get it, people LOVE Kenny. But I chose Jane. Because if it was me who let AJ "die", I can't guarantee that Kenny wouldn't be pulling a knife on me. And Kenny has a mentality where you're either with him, or you're against him. Was he not the one to tell Lee that he had to pick a side. Yeah...I chose Lilly then, and Jane now.
Nick or Pete?
Jane or Sarah? (if you didn't leave her at the trailer park)
Kenny or Jane?

* Carley
I trusted her with Lee's past. She just seemed like a very nice person, and she knew how to shoot.
* David
I tried to help him. It was obvious he wasn't getting out of that trap by himself.
* Omid
His leg was injured. Christa seemed like a very strong and athletic person. Omid, with his bad leg, seemed screwed.
* Danny
Mainly just intuition. He just felt like the better option to me.
* Pete
He seemed to be in more trouble than Nick. I liked both characters, and I kind of just panicked and chose him. I also thought maybe I could amputate his leg or something.
* Sarah
Jane was a very skillful survivor. I didn't really think she would die if she tried to help Sarah. It was worth the shot.

1) Shawn Duck was a little annoying shit. Sometimes he was cute in a kid-like way, but not much.
2)Carley Carley knew how to use a gun.
3) David Felt kinda bad for him tbh
4) Omid When did we have to choose this? I feel if Christina died Omid would get over it sooner, then again maybe not, she was prego.
5) Didn't play 400 days, never got the chance. On my bucket list though.
6)Nick Pete was bit already. If I went to save him, what good would've happened if he had lived that encounter? None.
7)Jane Who would you rather be on your side if there was a horde of zombies around you? Not little miss Daddy's girl.
8)Kenny You don't kill Kenny. Not unless he might as well be dead. I never liked Jane's personality, but Kenny is my favorite character.
Feels like a long two seasons (+ more) looking back.
Shawn; I wasn't connected to the game emotionally yet, and I just wanted to get rid of Duck.
Carley; she was a woman with humor, a slightly interesting backstory, and could shoot. Doug was... Doug.
Who?
Omid; I felt bad. I can't remember if I pushed him or said we'll leave with his woman, but I remember feeling like it was my fault he was hurt. Plus to be honest, Christa had a bad attitude.
Justin; Danny was a rapist or something like that according to the story iirc. Sure he was funny, but I felt like he would've betrayed me when he asked for the gun. This is an unpopular choice, though.
Nick; Pete was bit. I liked Pete, but I wasn't about to put myself in danger for someone I just met.
Jane. Okay... So I left Sarah behind. I play as though it's me in that situation. I wanted to take care of Sarah, but in reality if I couldn't move her I wasn't going to stay and risk our lives. When they tore her apart right after she kinda snapped out of it, it crushed me. I felt so fucking sad and bad.
Kenny. Please excuse the lengthy responses, I'm sorry. From season 1, I've sided with Kenny and only had issues with him between the death of his family and finding the boat. I really thought how it might be to lose two of the closest people to you in such a short time. As a man, how can you live with yourself when you can't protect your wife and kid? That must've been going through his mind (I know it's a game, but since this game's strength is its writing, I focus on that). Yet with all that pain, doubt, and shame - even losing his friend - Kenny didn't off himself. There were subtle hints that he thought of suicide, but he somehow fought against it. I still remember my reaction of his return in season 2. I literally paused the game and hopped around in the house. I kept thinking Kenny returning would be too good to be true, too predictable. Anyway, here was a character that I spent a lot of time with and we were finally able to talk about it a bit. Seeing how he managed to find something to live for, although he was struggling he still stayed strong. Kenny's a very angry man, but rightfully so imo. But you know what? He's a good man. Sure, he did some bad but in the end his true colors showed. He wanted what was best for Clem and the baby. He would give his life for the kids, and that touched my heart. I didn't stay in Wellington. What I take away from that character has helped me through my own issues in life. Some people you just can't give up on, and that includes yourself. I liked Jane, I cried during the entire fight between those two. But I wasn't going to let Kenny go out like a monster.
Again, sorry for the lengthy responses, I tried not to.
Carley or Doug? - Carley. Another badly inserted choice. The development of the two characters was unbalanced.
Well, to be fair, the… more developers did admit to regretting not making that choice more even.
Danny or Justin? - Justin. I liked him more, that's it.
You liked the jerk who remorselessly admitted to lying in court? Ah well; Fuck Wall Street!
Well, on one hand, the exact nature of whether Danny actually did it or not is never directly stated as far as I can tell. On the other hand, even if he did, I'm pretty sure it was statutory rather than full out rape. So, while the nature of his charges was creepy regardless, the fact that he was otherwise a pretty noble guy made him the easier choice over the entitled jerk on the other end. Plus, the fact that Justin brings it up when you point the gun in his direction felt like one of those cheap "but at least I didn't get arrested/charged for doing X" things, to be honest.
When the protagonists of "400 Days" are deciding whether they will go with Tavia, Russell will point that Shel and Becca are lucky that Danny was lost before they arrived at the group. This has a connotation that hints that he had in fact harassed that girl before the apocalypse, and was lying to Vince and Justin during the start of the outbreak.
Danny seemed nicer that Justin, that's for sure, so I can understand why you picked him, but I personally wasn't going to pick an all-but-confirmed rapist to watch my back and preferred a confirmed con artist to take that role.

Huh, deja vu. As I swear I mentioned before, the two details that make me doubt that a bit are the fact that they only say he died and that Russell was the one saying it. The same guy with trust issues who spent his scenario with Nate, someone who proved to be not only his opposite but the exact type of thing that Steve and Danny also seemed to be except arguably worse. If Danny really did have an extremely bad habit, then Russell's concern for Becca's safety was properly paranoid. But because the implication is vague and Vince himself never really responds if I remember correctly, I just assume Russell was being even more judgmental than before and Danny was just a sorta creepy but otherwise cool guy.
I personally wasn't going to pick an all-but-confirmed rapist to watch my back and preferred a confirmed con artist to take that role.
True. And my logic about people like Danny, Troy, and to a lesser extent Jane and Arvo is that they get a handwave and a "blind" eye as long as they prove their worth/bond to the team, but as soon as I see any significant signs that they won't let their objectionable behavior or actions stay in the past, there will be a problem for them.
Also, Justin practically put on a t-shirt saying "Buy my Mother: Professional Backstabber at your service" with his dialogue, so I wouldn't trust either of them with a gun. But especially him!
