  • From Jesus Raptor, our lord and savior.

I just googled abandoned things actually ^^

    Where are those photos from?

  • It's what would happen though. Did you ever see 'Life After People?'. Even 5 years in with where The Walking Dead is now, you'd have plants growing everywhere. Pretty cool documentary actually, you should watch it =D

These pictures really gave me a "The Last of Us" vibe.

  • I thought of Chernobyl when I saw them at first

  • I think I've seen these before. I love the one with the fish in the subway, and the bike that's grown into the tree.

It would be kinda like this http://amby-chan.tumblr.com/post/98791854962/the-old-piano-tree-california-trees-winning

  • I always get a laugh out of @DabigRG and your's interactions.

    :P

  • You should have a lookie at videos with people exploring old buildings T.T I love those things. They look all spooky. I'm watching one currently where this guy explores an abandoned house where the owners practically left everything behind, from their clothes, photo slides to an old car. Actually reminds me of looking around the houses in The Last of Us when there's all the personal belongings lying about.

  • So. Many. Images.

What about a bunch of boats, or a house on fire?

  • I erm, well son, I got distracted by pretty burning trees ^_^' call it my hatred of not wanting to see another pine tree ever again.

Ah...wait wait, gimme a couple minutes I'm onto something.

    Goshdarnit, that was amazing!

Ah! Fire does not rule! IT DOES NOT RULE!

Seriously though, imagine trying to outrun a huge wildfire, with a herd of flaming zombies on your tail, and then to top it off, it goes all The Revenant with a flaming zombie bear being ridden by a raptor holding a machine gun. That'd be scary as shit!

You really like fire, right? (me too) #FireRules

  • MILWAUKEE

I would love to see a burned city/town with burned charred walkers.

  • Yes this is what I want!!

  • • abandoned carnival or theme park
    • beach/sea
    • desert area
    • air/army base
    • church and graveyard
    • farm land
    •orchard or vineyard
    • mountains/hilly landscape

  • A coal plant is actually a pretty cool idea. Plus, Virginia and West Virginia have a ton of coal towns in the Appalachians. It be an interesting take if there was a community based around a coal town.

  • I can imagine if there other buildings similar to that, they'd be really good lookout points. But yeah, a community based around a coal town would be cool :)

  • Clem and javi should go to Clinton road XD

  • So this may be a bit off topic.

But I've always thought the ideal of some kind of infected/zombie game taking place in a semi-secluded location would make for an interesting premise. Especially the ideal of a large towering building complex, namely an evil corporate "testing monolith" would make for an intriguing structure for a choice-driven narrative-focused survival game. Starting from the top, desperately trying to get to ground level...

But since I know that won't be happening, I'd say why not another sewer? Gaming's greatest ally.

  • How about a zombie encounter where you are trying to escape an entire herd in a coal mine with it's twisting passages....the gang gets out only to see another herd emerging from a coal slurry pond.

  • Getting philosophical?

Ten less Carlos Mencia points for you!

  • FUCK!

I thought sliding in that little "sewer level" comment would make up for my deductive thesis.

    GODDAMNIT BETTERTOSLEEP!

…training you to become the next Carlos Mencia!

  • Each time I hear "mines", I think of Until Dawn. lol

    Great idea, by the way.

  • I would like to see an abandoned estate or small town, an abandoned resort or campground with cabins, an old movie theatre, or department store where the playable character has the option of changing into a new outfit or gathering seasonly appropriate items like a hat or mittens if it's cold out. It would also be cool if in the town layout we could inspect vehicles for items. Some could be empty of have junk in them and a few could have a weapon to use or food to offer to someone.

  • That's a little to close to Fear.

I'd like to see them move south. The swamps of Louisianna would be cool. Lots of critters to eat, warm enough to grow vegetables year round. Or maybe Texas, some desert like areas?

  • ^ Best comment ever. XD

    Nightmares.

  • But I liked them...

    Nightmares.

  • A police station. It would be pretty cool to fight some swat armored zombie, collect some guns, and look at police records of our past companions. oooohhh scandalous!

Has someone already mentioned a church or a religious building of some sort? These kinds of locations could open up some possibilities regarding character's faith or lack thereof. And you know, also look kind of sort of chillingly awesome. It's been done before and it was even a Season 2 plan if I recall correctly, but yeah.

I like the particular church shown above, because while it suggests abandonment and gives off other vibes, it's also really beautiful, in a slightly eerie way.

  • I love it T.T being in a place like that would be so awesome!
