  • NO THIS THREAD IS HORRIBLY FUCKING OUTDATED. Like, shit man this entire thread is cringey as hell for me, I don't think any of this any more and I'm not sure why I thought it in the first place. Lilly is still cool of course though.

My Lee was Madly in love with Lilly

  • Jaja! It's ok. Nobody remembered it existen, thught. Don't resurrect dead threads if you want people to forget it.

    Anyways, I like this.

  • Someone else resurrected it and I woke up with 8 notifications from this long dead artifact. I'm kinda hoping Blind closes it down honestly. At least nobody resurrected my first thread, because my god I have PTSD from that damn post.

  • My Reaction? I screamed, panicked and mashed buttons.

In the end I tried to revive Larry. As much as I loathed him I thought it would only be right to help him if there was any chance he could survive.

  • At least nobody resurrected my first thread, because my god I have PTSD from that damn post.

Now I'm curious. What was it about?

  • He was doing what he deemed was right... Killing someone who obviously was dead, 100% no argument.

Someone who he had no prior vendetta's against, making it tougher for him. I mean, it isn't like he jumped at the conclusion to smash in a guys' head like a tomato inches from his daughter, taking his decision to kill his alleged first victim so tough afterward too. All those tears really showing how hurt he was.

    enter image description here

And he wasn't hypocritical. When his son was infected, he was the first on board to not allow him to suffer an agonizing death. He knows everything cause he's Jesus or whatever.

He's a saint and we should honor his every great decision.

A double post goes to show just how inspired I was with Kenny I had to double click the Post button.

Anyway, TAYQ, I felt nothing at first, but then I was so happy as I helped Kenny drop the saltlick onto the bastard's skull.

    I regret nothing.

  • I agree.

He was just asking for it, what with him laying there being a person Kenny deemed was bad.

    Good riddance. ;)

  • No, not at all.

I've seen the light of our lord savior, Kenny was right all along. It only took me until now to understand he's really a swell guy.

How did I react? Well first I was in denial. I kept whispering "No,no, no, this can't be happening. Get up Larry!"

Then, as Kenny was talking about killing him, I starting internally arguing against him even though I agreed. "No! We can't do that! Larry may be an asshole, but he doesn't deserve to go out like that! And what about Lily? And Clem? But mostly Lily?"

Then, as I helped restrain Lily, I kept talking to myself outloud. "I am so sorry Lily! If I didn't do that, we all could have died! I don't care if you hate me as long as you're alive. I'm sorry. SORRY! I LOVE YOU LILY NOOOOOOO!!!! Sorry Larry! Larry I may not like you but at the same time I kind of do! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???"

Then, after all was said and done, I realized two things about myself.
    One: I suck
And two: I am way too immersed in this game.

And uh...that pretty much sums it up. I am insane. And a piece of shit. But I just didn't want everyone to die. And uh...yeah. Just insert me almost crying, a sick feeling in my stomach, and a lot of gasping, and that's pretty much how I remember it. Ah, memories. :)

  • Oh for fucks sake, Blind the last time people commented on this thread was in May 2015 and now it's an active thread again. Is that not a Necrobump?

  • I claimed that Omid was the cause of Lee's death, and it was before I had any common grasp of how opinions worked or spell checking. The grammar is horrible, I acted like a bitch when people didn't agree with me, my points were 100% invalid. God I like actually feel sick to my stomach when I think of that thread.

At least nobody resurrected my first thread, because my god I have PTSD from that damn post. Now I'm curious. What was it about?

  • Great!! I was hoping we would get a chance to kill Larry for a while before the opportunity came.

It was horrible, Kenny was like we got to kill him and Lilly was like...please help my dad. Larry was a jerk but..I tried to help. You see, My Lee had what people like Kenny would never understand. That's fucking humanity.

Killing Larry right in front of that little girl and The daughter...Kenny and I were done professionally after that...especially when we go after Danny and the shitbird freezes almost getting me killed. Luckily Lily came to the rescue.

Come to think of it, it was about that time I joined these forums and got this goofy name.

Man you left me nothing to say

No matter how i hated a person (larry) i am not gonna let my self get down to that low level of killing people i dont care to got killed because of that cuz the person only die when he lose his humanty not his live cuz the person who has no humanty he dies in the eyes of the people around him the people start feeling wierd than scared than startacting and the worst acting time is when the person he scared cuz he not thinking straight that time
BUT THAT NOT FOR KENNY CUZ KENNY NOT KILLING CUZ HIS SCARED HIS KILLING TO MAKE HIM SALEF SATSFIDE

A serious hypocrite. I honestly love both Lily and Kenny. And even though Larry wasn't exactly a nice guy, I didn't think he deserved to be killed there. So I really liked Lily and I didn't hate Larry with a burning passion or anything. I just really inserted myself in the situation and thought there was no way out but to kill him. I felt like crap at that part. I felt serious guilt for like a few hours. I just didn't want Larry to come back and kill Lily or anyone else. This game ruins lives, I swear.

I can agree about all the long paragraphs about not being able to say with certainty that we'd take the moral high-ground and etc etc. But the part about them not handling the morally grey area of the choice very well? Yeah, I'm not sure if I agree with my former self on that point nowadays. For example, me calling the 65/35 split bad. I mean, considering that probably 80% of the people that played this game hated Larry with a passion, the fact that 65% of players still tried to help him despite that fact is pretty interesting in and of itself. And I remember an old interview (at least I think it was an interview) where they stated that they had certain percentages in mind when they were designing a scene: sometimes they'd aim for a choice to be 50/50, other times something more in the 60/40 range, and so forth. Anyways, they mentioned that the Larry choice being split 65/35 was relatively close to what they were aiming for, so I suppose the choice was in fact a success from a statistic perspective.

Though I can still agree on Larry 'breathing' skewering the ambiguity of the scene a little bit. Especially since it only happens if you press on his chest. If they made him breathe no matter what the player did, it'd probably help make the scene/choice more vague.

That's not awkward at all. Could you tell us how your views have changed on this subject? I am very curious. And I'm on mobile at the moment so I don't know what the half of your post looks like. (?) BetterToSleep will remember your silence.

Kenny couldn't have allowed a man who recommended crushing in Ducks' head to make it out alive. And it was the perfect opportunity for him to murder someone and get away wi... err I mean, he had to do it.

Phew, dodged a bullet on that one. So yeah, Kenny's a great guy who saved everyone. Even if Lee did like 99% of the work, it doesn't matter when you have a nice pedo mustache.

She totally was better off by herself in the middle of an overrun Savannah than with a man who was willing to look after her in the first place, don't you think?
