Yeah, and after playing I would probably give it a 7.5 if not for the bugs and load issues. Doing crowdplay is almost useless if we are being kinda honest here. I don't see how TTG didn't account for twitch when adding that feature as having something like that work would do wonders for people with big audiences who want to play your game. Doesn't make it better when the timer at times seems much faster than past TTG's and you have a really limited opportunity to make a choice.
has anyone downloaded the single episode yet vs. the season pass for ps4? i don't wanna bother buying the season pass until i'm sure i like the game, but the season pass is all i see available in the playstation store right now.
Bought the season pass yesterday and played the Episode 1. Enjoyed it. But just wondering, the first episode cos £4.99 then remaining four episodes cost same too. So the total price is few pennies less than the season pass - £24.99. Why is that? That means, could we expect an additional episode in the end?
I'm too scared to ask when the release date will be. Plus, I don't wanna come off as annoying as that one other kid.
I know it's more than a week. Since for Mac, it said "Later this week", and I know it's less than four weeks, since it comes out in August.
So it's somewhere in that ballpark and it's really shitty.
The only thing I can take comfort in is knowing that they delayed it on Last Gen, probably due to technical issues. So I know I didn't get the same slap in the face that PC players got.

I really can't measure how this compares to the Arkham Knight fiasco.
The bad PC port isn't getting nearly as much exposure or attention as that of Arkham Knight's, but then again... The whole game isn't getting that much exposure.
If Arkham Knight sold 100,000,000 copies, and 33,000,000 of them didn't work, the internet would lose its shit.
But if this game sold 100,000 copies, and 33,000 of them didn't work, you'd see a grand total of 10 articles about it that all have low traffic.
I was just wondering If anybody actually knows why this is, but the game has now been released on all platforms yet it is unavalible in New Zealand on the Xbox store.
Can anybody shed some light on the situation. Thanks
Day 4 of waiting: I've broken and I've watched the first 30 minutes of it.
If we go a week without any news or a set release date, I might just watch it.
Cool Game but I wish you could have impactful choices. I tried many options and routes getting the same ending to the episode. This 'illusion of choice' thing isn't fun anymore

Day 20 of waiting:
This is extremely fuck.
This is fuck. All the fuck.
"Later In August" is getting less and less vague.
Then again, they said it would come out "Later this week" for Mac.
And don't fuck with me about that, I can cite like 30 sources. And then they quietly went into the news thing and edited it.
You know, it's kind of interesting, the history of telltale. You said that they actually had 3-6 hour long episodes? Damn, Imagine finding the time to sit down and do that XD.
For me, it's not that I don't like monthly episode releases. By all means, if they can pull together a good, normal-lengthed storyline together in the span of a month's time, then go for it. But for me, monthly releases are a little off. I came in to telltale after season 1 of TWD, but long before season 2. Before we knew Clementine was going to be the main playable character. Throughout that time waiting for season 2 and waiting for the episodes, I grew an attachment to the waiting. I replayed the episodes again and again, I liked the story so much. If you can recall, TWD s2 had 2-4 month episode releases. The only problem with the monthly system of release is that It might feel like the game goes by too quick. I'm not talking about episode length. I'm talking about the difference between the series spanning over 5 months, or 9. All I'm worried about is it feeling like it's over "too quick". Although if the episodes are long enough, that may not matter .
I get that it feels weird as a newer fan since you came in at a point where bi-monthly/quarterly episodes were the norm, but trust me on thi… mores - Telltale has years of experience releasing episodes on a monthly schedule prior to Walking Dead Season 1 that were long and had lots of gameplay. I dunno why Michonne had short episodes, but as I explain in another post, Michonne's earlier episodes were just delayed so they could release closer together. Episode 1 was supposed to be released in Fall, but they held it back and polished it so they could release it closer to Eps 2 and 3.
Whatever Telltale's reason for releasing 60 minute Michonne episodes was, it would not have changed with longer waiting periods.
Telltale's monthly episodes prior to Walking Dead were still good. I think that at this point, they are just working on more of the overall series and choosing to hold onto episodes and release them closer apart. I don't think it necessarily means that they are rushing or cutting corners as some fear.
Gracious Telltale has heard my concerns about "Later In August" getting less and less vague.
They just changed "Later In August" to "Coming Soon."
So I guess I'll be seeing you guys in September.

I think it may be one of those things where everyone's playing it at the same time when it just came out. But yeah, I didn't get lag either.

I literally can't even get past the cat woman fight because my QTE won't respond. I'm absolutely beyond angry right now.

Honestly I might rebuy it on Last gen if they don't fix their shit on PC.

sigh I love my game crashing every five minutes.
Anyone hate the voice of Batman I don't like it

Seems to be a simple thing to distort his voice, so he isn't recognized. Does a damn good job if you ask me.
Unless you mean Bruce.
So, any guesses when we'll get the PS3 version this month? I have the PC version but it runs like absolute fucking trash and can't play that mess.

runs fine for me
Good for you
uh-huh

Day 4.5 of waiting: I've resorted to cannibalism.
Seems like there's no rewind feature for the episodes... Not too happy with one of my choices but oh well

When is the release date for ps3? I don't want to have to wait for the disk release to get it.
Should be late August, if I had to guess the 30th seems the most likely.
lol it's only one episode, I think that choices we've made in this episode will affect on what wil happen in the next ones. be patient.
