If we have, our save files will be logged in and Season Three will incorporate one of our endings into the story. If we have not, the episode will be newcomer-friendly, explaining Clementine's past more deeply, and we won't see any endings.

It's possible but i don't think she will be only one character as they said "well know characters" and not "a well know character" so i think it's safe to assume we will see more than one, i would also love to see Oak appear in season 3.

I have been thinking that perhaps Caprikorn Farms is one of the communities of the network, which would allow us to encounter Oak, Paige or the Fairbanks, under the supposition that they are alive.

I'm really not looking forward to seeing comic book characters in the game - they should keep the game and comics separate!!!!! I prefer original characters to be in the game... Oh well we'll just have to wait and see what characters they are I guess
A lot of people here excited about confirmation that the import previous save feature is back. Hey as long as that's back I'm happy with only seeing our season 2 choices through dialogue again. I'm happy they're not going to actually animate it.
Episode 1 we start off as Javier, which is confirmed. We meet Clem long after season 2 has ended. Clem fills us in through dialogue with Javier like she did with Luke.

I don't have any problem with comic book characters in season 3. I imagine they will do the same thing as they did with Hershel and Glenn in season 3, they'll be part of the story but it still focus on the original characters.
