I'm glad someone understands it's all for comedic effect.
I don't like Kenny, but understanding that my hatred is in and of itself a self-deprecating joke is the first step to acknowledging the humor behind it.
A lot of layers, just like the layers of snow now covering a rotting Kenneth.
it can be very hard to take when one of your favourite characters is trashed in such a vile way by someone who has so much hate in their per… moresonality. You are the only one i actually get pretty angry at when it comes to your dislike of Kenny mostly because of the way in which you slate him.
Well, you have to admit anytime Everyone'sClemInTime has insulted Kenny, he's nearly always presented it in a pretty humorous way. I mean, I don't agree with his opinion, but you can't deny some of the things he says are quite funny, even if they are throwing dirt at probably one of my favourite characters in the game.
So, I just don't think there's much reason to be that pissed off if he starts slating him, just take it for the fairly funny comment that it is and not so seriously.
If I dislike him cause Kenny is a pubic hair cake, that's my opinion and I don't need people to validate it or give their blessing.
—Everyone'sClemInTime. August 2016.
I wish i could find the post as it was early last year.
Basically you were saying myself (and those who like Kenny) were puppets playing … moreinto Telltales hands and not being smart on seeing what you see, or words to that effect.
Anyway it's midnight here. I'm off to sleep. Night all
Bro he didn't point to any one in his comment he just said his opinion his post wasn't negative post he said the truth that all and according for a lot of previous post like this from an other people I see you a lot of time get bothered and start argument about Kenny he is or Kenny his not if you can't take the truth so don't get involved in the other people opinions Cuz that what start the argument from the first time
I am not intending to cause an argument here although I feel you've already done that but why is it you put a fucking downer on almost every… more thread you post in especially whenever it's to do with Kenny? For a character you hate so much you won't fucking shut up about him. You are the only one here (myself not included) that's posted a negative comment for your hate character and there was just no need. Go and learn to be nice for once. Jeez! Sorry man but you get under my skin like no other.
Then Telltale wouldn't be able to justify Kenny's determinant action to shirk off Lee and deny his plead to help save Clementine.
Cause I… more know had that been an option in season 2, Kenny would show guilt in being a huge coward and piece of shit for not trying to save her, at least in my playthrough.
Oh, who am I kidding. He'd probably be in some form in denial and say he was the one that saved her.
Well it was a negative post about Kenny actually lol which is why i spoke up. Yes it was his opinion and i admit that I shouldn't have probably said anything but the way he usually puts down one of my favourite characters is very hard to take sometimes.
I don't actually have a problem with people saying " I don't like Kenny because he did this and that" but when certain people say "he's a piece of shit, i'd like him to die a slow painful death" among other extreme things, naturally that is going to bother me regardless of opinions because it just gives off a horrible personality from that said person and it also makes him or her no different than the character they hate. I'd feel that way about any character because I don't feel anyone deserves to die no matter how bad they are. I guess you could say i have the "all life is precious" philosophy like Morgan. I am sorry if my posts seem like i cause an argument but it's only because i feel the need to always defend the character i am a fan of.
Anyway Everyone'sClemInTime and i are generally fine, i don't hate him because he actually is an ok person in all truth. Just that I can't stand his Kenny posts that's all.

My post was clear kenny's reaction if he know about the sranger i didn't ask for all that ww III in comments but in some unbelievable way the people turn it to total bulshit
Lol why? Do you like Bonnie? I don't hate her (as I don't "hate" any character) but i dislike her. She was my least favourite 400 days character, didn't particularly find her story interesting but then i discover that Telltale chose her to play a big part in season 2 instead of the more interesting 400 days characters so that sucked. My issues with her character are lack of trust basically. She lied at the lodge claiming to have a family and a girl Clem's age, she betrays them later when she arrives with Carver talking them all hostage. Sure she apologises in episode 3 and is nice and helped the group escape Howe's, she turned a corner for me at this point and I started to trust her more. Then when i chose to listen to Luke by covering him, she then treats Clem in a terrible way blaming her for Luke's death. I could and did forgive her for what she said because i understood why she was upset but after it was revealed her and Mike was ditching everyone and leaving them and the baby with nothing, no food, no transport etc. And after Clem was shot, Bonnie told Mike to just leave her when he was obviously looking horrified and wanting to help her, well i just couldn't forgive that. Clem is the most important character I care about so it's unforgiveable to me. It was truly awful
She lied at the lodge claiming to have a family and a girl Clem's age
Yes, and anyone in Carver's side would've done the same, be it Vince, Wyatt, Shel, anyone. Did you expect her to said that she was there spying for Carver and instantaneously get captured by Kenny and the others?
she betrays them later when she arrives with Carver talking them all hostage.
How does she 'betray' them? You can't betray someone if you have no loyalty for that person. She was helping her own group and she had guarantees that no-one was going to die.
I agree with the rest, leaving with all the supplies was pretty shitty of her, but I never saw what she did in Episode 2 as betrayal since she was looking out for herself and her own group.

And i am telling you that this is the reason i didn't like her for it. Lack of honesty. She could have been a decent person and warned them but she didn't. In episode 3 she says of her regret of it which i appreciated but still if she had not been loyal to Carver, they could have avoided what turned out to be chaos. For me it's not an excuse to lie. Anyway as i said, this is part why I didn't like her.
How does she 'betray' them? You can't betray someone if you have no loyalty for that person.
It's not a betrayal of what she did as such but a betrayal of what she said and made them think she was which was a woman with a starving family. She betrayed their trust is what i am saying. It doesn't change the fact that at that point, if the group were to ever see her again (which they did) she could no longer be trusted or at least trusted again straight away. It felt like a betrayal to me and that will not change my view. The whole point of what i said was explaining why i didn't like her. I do not need another argument to occur here. Bonnie lied and i just do not like liars. Trust is everything to me with people.

As Kenny's biggest supporter, this going to shock people, but I think Kenny would have been hurt by that knowledge. I think Clementine understood that and did not tell him. Which she could have done when he was yelling at her. Even I am glad this didn't happen.....there is such a thing as being sadistic....Clementine is not that and nor is Kenny.
Kenny is in pain...he is to blame for a lot of shit, but at the end of the day...he is no villain.
I did state "prime," referring to Larry, Johnny (or the asshole in the lodge Kenny blindsided), Carver, and Arvo.
And, as stated previously, for a roughly 130lb woman, Kenny was really struggling to overpower her with his wet-noodle strength even while he was on top of her plunging a knife into her chest.
As well, he can beat up Lee if the player chooses to fail almost every button prompt.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ben (the great fuck-up of Savanna) could kick his ass.
Kenny's prime victim are people who can't readily defend themselves
Objection: he tried to kill Jane, who was both aware of his presence and capable of defending herself

But Kenny was the one telling the group "we have to take this stuff". He may have done some horrible things, but Kenny's no monster. I'm sur… moree he'd feel pretty shitty for ruining this guy's life and starting the Stranger's quest for revenge. As I said not feel completely blame for, but some empathy and guilt for what he'd done.
Also he kidnappend Clementine after losing everything as a need to protect her, but he lost it already. The guy carried a head in a bag for crying out loud.
Yeah, but before that you said "assuming he was unconscious or something first," implying he would kill the stranger provided he was in a position where he couldn't readily defend himself, despite the fact he has killed at least one other person capable of defending themselves
Applying the concept of probability to this situation means there's at least a 1% chance that any potential victim will be someone capable of defending themselves, therefore meaning that the stranger could possibly be within said percentile of victims

Ah, something he, Lily, Andy, Christa, Oberson, Vince(debatable), Nate, Michelle(debatable), Carver, Troy, Jane, Randall, and the Walkers all have in common.
Meh I don't like Kenny either and he clearly isn't the best fighter in TWD however the Stranger is either ridiculously incompetent or a physically weak sissy for being over powered by someone with one arm (determinant) I don't think Kenny would have a problem with beating him fairly 1 on 1. I don't think that's what you're saying though
I don't think Kenny would have a problem with beating him fairly 1 on 1
Are you sure? Cause I think even with a man who looked like a sickly Mr. Rogers, the fact that the fight with Lee was a fairly prolonged QTE in which Lee was visibly exerting a lot in order to kill him would lend to a decent counter-argument that "noodle-arm Kenny" would most-likely get his assed bounced on.
Even taking into account Lee was, at the time, losing quite a lot of blood. The fact Kenny had a small woman literally holding his arms as a knife was held over her chest is nearly comedic for a character that seemingly had an entire studio doing their best to make him look like he shits nails. Between him looking brooding and "3edgy5me" throughout most of season 2 and him literally killing most everyone during a shootout, I would've hoped he could've used his edgelord body weight to easily murder someone who, yet again, he falsely perceived was evil.
Even if Jane was a fucking moron, but now I digress.

Haha how come? I admit her swearing was shocking and she sometimes came across as bratty but to be honest i think the way Ashley Johnson played Ellie was the perfect way i think that a teenager acts generally.
When adrenaline kicks in, your body goes into Hulk mode apparently so i'd say Jane hulked up to try and survive when fighting Kenny but i guess the Hulk juice drained away eventually lol

I just find it kind of funny that a man who was able to dispose of an entire ambush almost single-handedly, even without the use of one of his eyes and most likely being disoriented from so many gun blasts at one time that close can't seem to muster up enough strength in his infinite murder-boner to simply set his torso weight on top his arms to kill a fairly tiny and petite woman.
It's not as if he had a problem mustering strength to pick up a nearly 100lb saltlick over his head and toss it on Larry so I don't know. Maybe his horror-death-erection was low?
