I'd say that the Michonne Miniseries has a rich narrative with multiple plot lines advancing at once throughout the three episodes. There are also numerous details that will enhance your experience if you read them in the Details That People Might Forget thread, after each episode. Some good stuff. You'll enjoy it best if you're interested in morally ambiguous conflicts.
The miniseries does have a combined time of four hours on average, which makes it especially expensive for $15. And some have also complained that it has annoying aspect in the third episode.
The episodes are really short (like, around an hour for each episode), but beyond that, it has a great presentation and the story goes in some interesting directions at times towards the end of Episode 2/start of Episode 3. I'd say I liked it better than Season Two.
If you're a fan of the comics, I'd say it's definitely worth it as it explains what happened to Michonne during her absence between Issues 126-139 of the comics, but at the same time, doesn't spoil anything from them.
If you aren't, then I'd say wait for it to go on sale. The episodes are really short (episode 1 is about 80 minutes, the rest are about an hour) so it's not worth the price of $15 I'd say, and some of the characters aren't that well developed. However, there is some great branching out in the story based on your choices, it's got a great story, and the voice acting is top notch.
I'd go with what everyone above has been saying. The main drawback is that it's pretty short, although I guess that can work in your favor if you're just looking for something quick to pass the time. I've seen rather mixed reception towards it overall, so it's hard to say whether or not you'd personally like it, but I thought it was pretty good for what it was worth, and it felt like there were some improvements made in the areas that S2 faltered with, such as characterization. Again though, the short length also somewhat hurts the quality, but not to a huge amount. Also, there's determinant characters that can actually survive! That's a plus, right?
By the way, if you're playing on PC and you're interested, you can get it on the Humble Bundle store right now for under $4. Probably the best opportunity right now to snag it for dirt cheap.
I found it to be okay, but nothing all that special. Whilst I thought some characters to be pretty decent, others, for me, were fairly bland and didn't bring much to the plot, and the story/choices, compared to the other games, were poor. Though, in fairness, it's enjoyable enough, but I wouldn't say it's really worth it unless you're a big fan of the whole series.
In terms of it's narrative approach, I'd say it certainly fits a mold much better than the sloppy Season 2.
And I'd personally like more debates about whether Norma and Randall were within their rights to pursue Michonne and Sam the way they did. Unlike Season 2, it made for an actually intense standoff situation between the two groups.

Probably because it sticks to its fucking guns and knows where the focus should be from beginning to end.

I personally enjoyed it quite a bit. Yeah, the episodes are pretty short, but the actual cinematography and storytelling is very well done. It does help if you like the comics, but as someone who stopped at the comics fairly early I still enjoyed it. 8.5/10
I would say just get it. I talked a friend of mine into getting it as she was on the fence about it. She bought it twice because she loved it so much. It's only 15$ for all three episodes and it was a strong outing for Tell Tale to remind us that Season 3 is almost here. I enjoyed the narrative, story, and characters. If you are a fan of Tell Tale Walking Dead, it is a must buy. Ignore game reviewers as they haven't been reliable in recent years. The last time I trusted game reviewers it was the 1990's lol.

That's a rather rancid and old thread, though, without a premise to discuss other than who we would side with. Still, nice… memory… I suppose…
I might elaborate on a post about Michonne sometime in the future.
On a partly unrelated note, it's good to have you as a discusser on the forum. Your extensive thought-out posts often provide me with an alternate view on whatever topic is up; that's refreshing. And I am not kissing ass, I am really not—take these as some words of encouragement.
Thanks, mate! Sometimes, I just got a lot to say about a subject--particularly if it involves complicated topics or characters like Sarah, Bonnie, or Arvo. It's not always the intention, but at least it's something.
Plus, I kinda get annoyed when I have an hour or two of free time and there's like ten minutes straight of no one talking about anything interesting so I try to start something by doing things like asking a question or posting in a 'dying' thread if I think it'll draw em out the woodwork.
I tend to do that.
Can't say I haven't noticed!

Wright Micah Rough-Final Build 12.5 telltale community (Sorry for the lite reply.)
The first 3 times when I played michonne. I liked Samantha until I knew how evil she was. That nermal lite her go twice.
Tune she want back to get the weapons to put back at her house. The third time. She want to Monroe. With Greg to tack medicine. That Michone and Pete want to Monroe for a stress cell. Samantha true plan was to set them up. I realize sense then, that Samantha was truly no good. Nermal was right about Samantha laying. I feel bad she had too die. With michoone cutting who arms for the walkers. I should normal Marcy.
Even with episodes going about 2 & 1/2 hours for all 3 episodes. it's still worth it. The 1st playthough about 6 hours.
I thank that michoone and season 2 ware the same story. Excope Michoone was bitter for it's story telling and no filler like the Russians attacked at the end of amid the ruins. The vorce acters ware awesome in michonne. The plot trust of Samantha. Is Goldfinger 11 out of 10. This is turely worth 9 out of 10. As good as walking dead season 1.
I did replayed season 2. It made me uneasy and uncomfortable; I was just hopeing That clementine in season 3 is different anove. That it doesn't hunt my memorys. From my past lifetime at looking at her. That is why it is 3.5 Instude of 6 you don't knew of how scaredy I am.
Right down the wire walking dead michonne is worth $15 dollars.
my michonne crashed like so much it was glitch after glitch maybe its better xbox or pc or ps3
i played it on iPad and without the glitching it would of been a good game for 7 or 9 bucks WITHOUT THE GLITCHES!!!!!!!! PLZ FIX
If you're a fan of telltale, then get it. If you are more picky with what games you play, I'd say nah. It doesn't really hinge on the rest of the story. It's still pretty good though. I'd put it on par with 400 days.
Mostly everyone already said it, and I feel like me commenting is kind of pointless, but yeah, I'd recommend it. Obviously I won't spoil anything right here, but I thought it was a great game. The conflict was kept very morally grey, there were quite a few interesting side characters (some were a little meh, but not terribly so), and it really explored how the apocalypse weighed on Michonne's psyche. I don't read the comics, but if you do, it does enhance the experience and it also explains the events that occurred between certain issues. For me, the game was approximately four hours, which does make the $15 seem a little pricey, but I really thought it was worth it. I really could not emphasize how much I enjoyed the antagonists in this game. It...was...so...grey. More grey than 50 Shades of Grey. It was like, I don't know, 90 Shades of Grey.
I'm soo sorry Romo I did not knew about the spoiler reply until I logged in and out agein. Unfairly. I can't make it spoiler free on the edit on mobile. Because of the 2016 buggy website. And my mac book pro mid 2012 and mid 2015 are being repaired for 7 days from now. However if the mods want to change it back to spoiler free. They are wolcome too.

Totally worth it if you want a great story with a really underwhelming finale.
What We Deserve was such a shit show. Characters going suicidal for no reason at all, characters going nuts and not sticking to plans, determinant characters having 0 lines after their determinant death, plot shoved down your throat in amanner that they hadn't done since Around Every Corner and that stupid boat! Episodes 1 and 2 are great. Episode 2 is just... wow. And Episode 3 had everything to be great. It was being great. The hub, the characterization, the set-up, the tension... But how they resolved the plot, specially if you did everything right... just holy crap, fuck that shit. I'd say it was worth it. It's still a great story. But in some playthroughs it can get so forced... Yikes.

Yes I'd give the Mini-Series 10/10.

I don't think you should do a spoiler-reply when trying to recommend someone else to buy or not the game...
Lol kolejny

I loved playing as Michonne but I felt that the episodes should've been longer and I almost felt that choices had better effects on the story....
Great game....wished it was longer....Great characters.

So I figure, since @Kennyshouladiedins1 has already bought it, the topic has kinda served its purpose.
So I'm gonna go ahead and close it, if that's cool.
