It means that they do not have a specific date to publicly give yet, but that they know it will most likely be sometime this week barring any unforeseen problems.
Mobile releases usually happen on Thursdays going off of older Telltale releases, but Telltale has recently made a push to try and get more recent episodes released on as many platforms as they can on Tuesday. So, it could honestly go either way.
If you want to play it safe and keep moderate/safe expectations, I would expect a release on Thursday Sept 22nd.
So I know this probably isnt a popular opinion, but people need to realize that Telltale is going to need to ditch previous gen soon. They cant keep wasting time and resources on porting it to people who are becoming more and more of the minority. I wouldnt be supprised if Batman and Walking Dead S3 are the last Telltale games to have 360 and ps3 ports. What is telling going to do once say the PS5 comes out? Still make games for the ps3?

No but mobile will still be supported because of the new phones coming out
Minecraft story mode episode 8 releaced the night it releaced in my time zone

A LOT of telltale fans does not have latest PCs and consoles.
