[S3 ANF Ep1&2 completed!] Lilacsbloom's & Sialark's excellent TWDG Playthrough Adventureee
Hey all--
So although I've never recorded my own play-throughs before, slash never uploaded them to youtube, there had seemed to be a little interest a while back from some folks on the forums in my play-throughs (@ Crips and @ BetterToSleep and others), which tbh flattered me greatly lol. I ran the idea past my best bro on the forums here, @Lilacsbloom, and I thought, "Why not do one together, with the both of us commenting as we play together--then we could post it back on the forums?" We both agreed t'would be awesome, not to mention it would be a fun thing to do while waiting for Season 3! So after several months of trying to figure out how to record two different people in two different countries playing the same game on one device, and after many many botched play-throughs recording differing Telltale games (we even played through Telltale's Jurassic Park, and all I can say about that is, haaaa), we finally figured the kinks out! I am happy to present to you, our play-through of Telltale's The Walking Dead Games!

We didn't get a chance to complete Michonne before S3, so we'll finish that at a later point probably. Maybe during the wait for the next ep of S3!

I only watched two of the vids earlier today but I'm liking it. I like to see the other episodes and perhaps S2 and S3 in the future (I know, I'm asking a lot lol).
I just finished the first part. You two have such great chemistry. It's crazy that you just met on the forums; you sounded like really close friends! Telltale Games: Bringing people together since 2004.
The commentary was really nice and I am so gonna finish this awesomeness later!
Actually we met through fanfiction if I'm right XD Sialark reviewed my TWDG Story Growing Pains. Although you could still thank Telltale since if TWDG didn't happen I wouldn't have written my fic and we might not have become best buds XD
We are planning on doing S2 and S3 too, for sure.
I'm also guessing that Twd: Michonne might have a part to play in S3 as well given some past tweets and news on well known comic characters having cameos in season 3, so perhaps we'll do that too if there's interest. >.>
It's true haha we first started chatting on fanfiction! I'm a respectively massive geek and have read a lot of fanfiction haha, and Lilac's was really damn good, as far as a fully fleshed out story goes! Lilac told me about these forums and I thought that a lot of discussion going on here at that time was pretty deep, so that's what brought me here!
And yeah @Kenny726, we sound like good friends because we chat a lot off the forums too, and because we are good friends.

Hehe well I'm doing my best! Originally I had wanted to do a full play through of being a complete dick to Kenny from the very very beginning even when he didn't really deserve it, but because I have a conscience I started to feel bad lol. xD Don't worry though, as Kenny starts to show more of his colors I shall act appropriately, I promise you that. Especially in season 2, woo boy.

I would watch these but sadly i'm guessing all the focus is on the hate of one particular character so you'll be pleased to know I won't be watching. Good luck though

@ABigBadWolf, I think we're gonna aim to get play-throughs of an entire episode out every week. For Lilac and myself, there's a 5 hour difference between our time zones so that might slow us down a little (i.e. she goes to bed when I come home from work), but we'll do our best! As of now I'm thinking we'll do Season 1, and then Season 2 immediately after that. We'd eventually do Season 3 as each episode comes out too!
But! Rest assured, Lilac will spend plenty of time during our Season 2 play-throughs fawning over Luke and his brotp with Clem, hehe. You can definitely count on that!
Only watched the first part so far, but I thought it was great. I'll tune in and watch the rest later.

Did you think that the commentary was exclusively made up of poo-pooing on Kenny? I simply said that they should make more attempts at flaming him as a joke. From what I saw (which wasn't the entire thing) I gathered neither seemed exactly favorable to him, but it was a far cry from what I requested hence the joke.
Just cause they don't like him (if that is even the case and they're not just exaggerating for commentary purposes), you may be surprised that some of their views may coincide with yours and that the chemistry is entertaining enough to enjoy in and of itself.

I'd gladly watch it if their commentary involved things other than being negative about Kenny, Lee or any of my other favourite characters (if they were). Maybe it is good, maybe not

This a very late reply but I didn't have anything in the mind at the time but this thought popped up.
So if you go by a weekly basis with the videos posted, then when you're at the point of S2, S3 will start releasing sometime November. So I am curious how you're going about that. Will you play all in order, or will you probably do a S3 episode playthrough in between S2 episode playthroughs (I tried to say that as best as I can, sorry for any confusion)?
Yep, I gotcha. Well, we're going to try to move a bit faster than 1 episode a week. : ) Tbh I still really doubt that Telltale will get Season 3 out by November, and if they do, I bet it'll be the last week of November lol. Also, since Season 2's episodes are so much shorter than Season 1's episodes, I think we'll be in good shape, even if TT gets S3 out by the first week of November. ; )
