Who is your favourite character in Michonne Mini-Series?
Mine is Paige because she had big character development closely followed by Sam.
Paige had more character development, she has only been in 2 short Episodes while charcaters like Carlos and Sarita in Season 2, they did not get any at all and they were in 3 Episodes plus Season 2 Episodes were longer.

Michonne and Sam are the more obvious choices, mainly for the fact that they received much development and were the main protagonists. One character besides those two that I really liked was Norma. She wasn't a big bad, she wasn't a villain, she was just the force against the protagonist.
The whole conflict was based on a few misunderstandings, and I understand how that could feel problematic to some. I didn't personally see the Michonne's group/Norma's community conflict as forced, but I won't get into that here. I just saw Norma as very sympathetic and reasonable. All she cared about was looking after her community and her family. You have the fact that Sam had stolen and taken advantage of her multiple times in the past, and the fact that Michonne can blow up her docks. Even after all of that, she tried to remain fair and diplomatic. Her biggest problem was her being unable to let go of her brother, and being not entirely capable of keeping the dude on his short leash. Until the end of the finale, every "bad" move made by Norma was actually out of her control. Her people acted against her, or Randall just decided to go full on asshole/sociopath. Of course her deciding to try to kill Michonne wasn't you know, good, but I personally found her death to be pretty upsetting. Nothing had to go that badly.
And this is what makes it a stronger story than Season 2. Speaking as someone who hasn't seen the show or comics, of course.
Too bad the later half of Season 2 (or the fanbase, for that matter) didn't remember to consider that type of thing...
I liked Randall and Norma, their motives seemed largely misunderstood.
Largely.
Heyyy, mine's Paige, too! likes thread
I thought all of the characters were great, both the new ones and those adapted from the comic.
Oak and the whole crew were pretty goofy and fun guys. The Fairbanks actually had a lot of personality and I genuinely wanted to protect them. Even minor characters like Jonas and Zachary were compelling and complex.
But the stars of the show were Norma and Randall, especially the latter. Both have amazing VA's, questionable motives, and generally are just really believable antagonists.
Randall is especially amazing because of how much I both hated and loved the guy. Oh man, the shit he did got my blood boiling. But nearly everything out of his mouth was hilarious or intriguing in some way. Really enjoyed going up against that guy.
Michonne and same and the two cute kids
Out of all characters in the Michonne mini-series, only Norma stood out for me. She had all the characteristics that I wished Carver had in Season 2 that would make him a more compelling character to me.
It also helped that she did her best to be tough yet reasonable in a situation where she was taken advantage of twice by Sam, who had also indirectly cause the destruction of her community and the deaths of many people living there.
And then there's her brutal death scene that felt undeserved for someone who had lost so much in such little time.
I think Randall won me over with his prom night quote.
Paige. Paige? Paige, Paige... I don't remember her. Only Michonne, her sword and two intrusive short ghosts.
Paige! I love her and really want to see her again.
Randall and Norma, strangely, were my favourite characters in the game. And considering I'd lost any hope in Telltale writing decent antagonists after the mess that was Carver, I was pleasantly surprised.
Now, while I'd have preferred if they had explored Randall in greater depth, maybe expanding a bit on his backstory and showing a bit more of the relationship with his sister, he was still, in my opinion, the most charismatic villain yet seen. It really helped that they'd given him some seriously good dialogue and went all out in portraying that, really, this guy was a complete bastard. I usually prefer more complex villains, but there's no denying, that he was good at being evil.
Norma, on the other hand, wasn't portrayed as a typical villainous bitch that's often seen, trying to ruin the day of our ever so good protagonists, instead Telltale decided to demonstrate that just because a character's an antagonist, doesn't necessarily mean that they have to be all-out evil or a villain. She was complex and her motives were completely understandable, but yet, she remained reasonable and kept her side of the bargain. It wasn't until the end that she become more of a villain, but to be honest, she had solid reasons for trying to kill everyone...
If Telltale introduced another more complex antagonist for season 3, similar to Norma, but with more villainious traits, I'll be pretty darn happy, to be honest.
Paige.
Just Paige.
PAIGE FOR SEASON THREE!!!
She looks so sad all the time I want to give her a hug :')
Sam, followed by Randall and Norma
Randall and Norma are two of the best antagonists the series has seen. And Sam... well, I just like her.
Sam, she has nice bo... personality.
Y-yeah, personality...that's what we meant...
I HOPE SO AND SHE CAN MEET CLEM AND BE BESTIES 4EVA!! XD LOL
To be fair, the writers for Michonne were different from the Season 2 team.
It's easy to sympathize with the three of them when you realize that all three acted while misguided before the events of Michonne.
Please don't overuse large letters. It makes messages cluttered and distracting.
I liked Oak out of all the characters; he didn't get a lot of screentime, unfortunately, but he seemed really grounded and down to earth.
Sam. I liked her feisty personality and how she wasn't afraid to risk her life for her family. She's also kind of cute.
Favorite
Pete
Worst (In my opinion)
Michonne
I liked Pete because he has a nice personality and cares for the people and I don't like Michonne because she's mentally broken (worse than Kenny) and wants to suicide, I hate that.
Pete and Sam and Paige...and of course Michonne.
Oak had more screen time than Berto, Siddiq, Jonas, Gabby.
Edit: Aw shit not again...
I know that may have sound different in your mind, but it sounds kinda awful now.
Rofl, just noticed right now. I mean she thinks all the time for her kids and that can put the group in danger.
SPOILER ALERT
Just like Sam in Episode 3 when the house was on fire, there's an option to stay with your kids which leads to Sam's death. What if it wasn't our option? What would Michonne ACTUALLY do?
I don't have many reasons to dislike her but the few things I know about her are only bad things that I don't like, maybe she's a good character but her "depression" doesn't help at all, the only good thing I know about her is that she is a good survivor.
Correct me if I'm wrong but that's just all an opinion.
I liked Sam, because I think that her interactions with Michonne worked excellently most of the time. Besides much of the game is actually telling Sam's story.
True. Conflict was better written than the conflict between Kenny and Jane, which felt mostly idiotic. This time people acted mostly rationally, even if their choices turned out to be bad ones.
I wonder if some member of Telltale Staff is around in this forum and considering to bring a character from the MMS.
Oak, Paige and the Fairbanks are a safe bet if Oceanside is shown.
...but not Sam...
Poor Sam.
Unless she survived!
