Please do not overuse gifs, large letters, memes, etc - Discussion is better when things like gifs or large letters are used sparingly. It can make the thread harder to read for other people - especially mobile users. Posts will be flagged as Spam for over using large letters.
Just a reminder guys - do not overuse large letters. I will flag posts as Spam for doing so.
If lots of posts randomly have large letters included in like this, it makes messages distracting to read and it just clutters things up.
Use large letters only for good reasons, like labeling sections of a post or something. Otherwise, it makes discussions harder to follow, on top of being distracting and making things look cluttered.
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this but... well um....

LOL your video made me laugh. Although it is heavily implied that Lee is dead it could depend on certain aspects. In the comics they have ma… morede it look like a certain characters died only to come back a few issues later. Tyreese is seen in one issue taking on about thirty walkers with only a hammer and getting completely surrounded. With Rick stating to Lori that there was no way Tyreese was getting out of there. The way the artist drew the issue it looked like Tyreese was gone for good as walker food. So it's really up to the writers to bring him back but probably not due to the fact they always kill off determinant characters lol
You have Tales from the Borderlands to thank for that; that game had some portion of people on the forums who wanted to ship different chara… morecters together, and made mega threads about it. Telltale legitimized it halfway through the Season by responding to fan feedback and shipping two different characters, and now you have people trying to ship other characters in different games, and additionally spamming shipping threads in Minecraft, Batman, etc to try and hop on the Borderlands bandwagon. Alongside that, you have a vocal minority of people on the forums who feel that all future Telltale titles should have romance, to the point where they will even look down on an episode for not having romance in it.
Personally, I don't care if romance is included in a Telltale game as long as it genuinely fits organically into the story and has an actual purpose, but I find the idea of people wanting to ship characters or spam character shipping threa… [view original content]
I'm going to argue that tales from the borderlands wasn't what started it. Even when I was only on tumblr before tales came out, people would obsess over her potential to find a romantic partner (not helped by the whole Cluke thing) and what her sexual orientation is. Plus the people I see asking if Clem should have a relationship aren't typically the same people I saw being vocal in the tales from the borderlands shipping fiasco. I think the only thing tales is guilty of is promoting shipping threads when there is a perceived love triangle (Sasha/Rhys/Fiona, Lukas/Jesse/Petra, Selina/Bruce/Vicki). And I honestly think that is more if a result of telltale including those elements to encourage the same level of engagement the shipping threads had.
I think in this case it's mostly the result of Clementine getting older and people realizing that that is more a serious possibility in her life and speculating if it'll happen.

Has anyone else experienced multiple embarrassing situations because of this game? I know I have. Ah. The first time I played the finale, I was home alone. I was insanely spamming someone with my emotional trauma as I played. Additionally, my family returned to find all of the lights off, and my choices still on the living room TV. I came down when I heard them, asked how everything went for them, and simply tried to act normal. I then just randomly started crying. And I did not stop after a healthy amount of time. Memories...
Then, another time that I replayed the game, a guest happened to pop over unexpectedly right in the midst of the finale. Their "WTF" face resulting from my excessive freaking out is forever ingrained in my memory.
Oh geez. Not to mention this one time that I screamed a Kenny prayer at the top of my lungs, ignorantly believing that I was alone. This game has been making others question my sanity for too long now...
I'm excited for Season 3 and all, but I can't say I'm completely sure it'll be a worthy contender to season 1. Like, I have little doubt that it'll be a good game, I'm just not completely convinced yet that it'll be a huge improvement from the second series. Hopefully though, I'm just being overly cynical and it could prove to one of Telltale's finest.
True I do have some doubts as well. One of them being how they handle Clem, I hope it's not only flashbacks when you play as her. I hope you also play as her seeing as she's more grown up and capable now. Also I don't want the same character treatment like in Season 2 where so many characters with potential were either pointlessly killed off, forgotten and/or under developed.

I just have this feeling that Season 3 will be a good one. Will it compare to the first season? Hard to say. While playing, I'm just going to try to judge the game as is. Of course I will mentally compare it to Season 1, but I do want to try to limit those trains of thought. In all honesty, I don't see any game comparing to how Season 1 made me feel. I'm just hoping it will come close. Obviously Telltale is going to try to make their own product sound enticing, but it sounds like it has a lot going for it. Your feelings are completely reasonable.

I wouldn't worry much about Clementine, to be honest. She's hugely popular and I have a tough time believing that the writers would want to piss anyone off by having her only in flashbacks, considering Clem's fans make up more than half of the fan base. They'll definitely give her a great deal of attention, I'd imagine.
It's the secondary characters I'm most concerned about. I've yet to play Batman, so I'm unsure as to whether Telltale's recent stuff is any good, but the amount of undeveloped characters in season 2 has left a bad mark and has me more worried than I'd like. There's also Telltale's biggest sin with "shock" deaths, where we've yet to have any care for a character and they just die. I'm hoping there's been improvements on these things since we last saw the Walking Dead, but I'm really unsure.

I know I'm going to love it, because I loved Season 1, and enjoyed Season 2. I'm so excited for Season 3! I just know it's gonna be a great and emotional experience, just like the previous seasons!
At todays Walker Stalker Con Melissa Hutchison gave a really mild teaser saying that Clementine will sound similar to how she sounded in season 2, i did expect Clementine to sound similar but it's cool to hear it from from Melissa herself .

I would personally want to see Lee again. I know he "died" at the end of season 1. But what if Lee passes out at the end of you chopped off his arm because of blood loss?
When she says that the S3 voice wont be too different from the S2 voice gets me kind of worried. I hope there is a noticeable difference like S1 and 2.

I'm as honest as you can get sir! Why do you think i can be so outspoken on these forums? Lol
RIP dem precious family jewels.
Most definitely will happen.
It isn't "implied" that he's dead, it's explicit. He's dead. Dead from the gunshot or just becomes a walker. He's dead.

Random charcs can be shipped too.
Amazing!
Clem's voice - the cutest ever!

what does that have to do with discrimination?
Oh wow!
That is amaizing!! She seems like such a lovely person and such a good actor
Haha i dont think Lee will come back in S3... :´(
Discrimination that can ship only the main characters, and no secondary. I don't like this.
This got me so excited...

They're getting Dave Fennoy for Clementine this season!
Now having read Call To Arms, I'm wondering how this will tie in with the comics.
They better!
.....to sleep.
Dammit it's happening to me too.
You're doing my cheap handle drops as well? That's awesome!
It's contagious.
I swear to fucking God, if Telltale hurts Clementine... Let's just say some tires are getting slashed. Who's with me??
I'm RIGHT with you, buddy. NO ONE hurts Clementine when I'm around.
