Seems to be the case - don't forget, Telltale has exploded in size since the days of Season 1. Previously, they had 70 people during Season 1 (and still worked on multiple games with timely, monthly episodes even back then), and now they have around 400 staff members. People who complain about Telltale working on more than one game at once should probably keep this in mind.
I know I say this to the point of being a broken record, but things like (previously) longer waiting periods for episodes after Season 1 or shorter episode durations/less gameplay in episodes are not consequences of Telltale working on multiple games after the success of Season 1 - those are all deliberate changes Telltale made.
Longer waiting periods came from Telltale pushing for a larger emphasis of taking fan feedback into account between episodes after the success of Season 1, and shorter episodes/less gameplay are the result of Telltale trying to further push their episodes into feeling like interactive cinema/TV in terms of pacing. People who jumped onboard as Telltale fans only during or after Season 1 are not aware that Telltale had already been on a trend where they were simplifying their games to make them more accessible and to make them feel like playable cinema for a few years, as far back as 2010. The trend of Telltale simplifying the gameplay in the titles is nothing new, and it is certainly not a consequence of Telltale working on multiple games after Season 1.

With Season 3 fast approaching there's something on my mind. I play on Xbox One but I played Seasons 1 and 2 on Xbox 360. Should I buy them on Xbox one or just hope that I can import from the 360?
