I don't think Javier would teach her. now im not too much into guns or rifles but I guess they all work the same way and as per handling the gun's recoil, I think she can manage as in twds2e2 she figured out how to counter the rifle's recoil while killing zombies near the windmill. also I think she's a lot stronger now that she's a teen. and of course when we look at the poster it seems like that its no big deal for clementine to handle that rifle. so idk, but im not too sure about Javier teaching her in the game
I will be more focused on clem too but it'd be kinda diificult if there are like clem, Javier and rick/carl/jesus/michonne/negan at the same time on screen.
I will certainly be more focused on the Telltale characters rather than the comic characters, and I honestly love Clementine even more than Rick Grimes.
I have that gut feeling too. but I don't want that to happen. honestly tho Javier's brother/friend looks like a big 'fck up' (I don't know why, but he looks like he will do everything wrong) but his sister reminds me of s2 Clementine so I don't want anything to happen to her. but I like the idea of Clementine consoling him. that'd be cute.
I predict that someone in Javier's family is going to die in "A New Frontier." Possibly one of his siblings. He will be absolutely heartbrok… moreen and devastated, and Clem will console him, revealing her own tragic past to him, and losing loved ones like Lee, and her own parents.
,
yea that's one of my theories as well. They will be 'kind of' frenemies. I think. But I think as Javier we will get to make how good their relationship can be.
•AJ "a very big situation Clementine is dealing with"
its one of the those things that make me super excited for this game. I absolutely love the idea of how our little Clem who is now in her early teens (around13/14) will try to become like a teen mom to AJ( who is I think a toddler). also it would be adorable to see her trying to make him eat vegetables or read him a bedtime story( yes!even in an apocalypse! ).
...and that reminds me - I was thinking more on it, and I offhandedly remembered a post I saw from when Minecraft was first announced.
Th… moreere were even people blaming the existence of Minecraft: Story Mode on Jake and Sean leaving. It's not enough that they didn't like Season 2, or that they think Telltale working on multiple games is a bad thing - no, people will scapegoat anything they don't like on Jake and Sean leaving
"There's no denying it anymore, Vanaman and Rodkin's departure killed this company."
The post is from December 2014 so their opinions have possibly changed, but even so, it's pretty contrived to insinuate that literally anything you don't like about modern Telltale can be traced to Jake and Sean leaving. I don't think they need to be placed on that high of a pedestal, considering that even had they stayed at Telltale, they are not responsible for picking out the games that Telltale would work on. They still would have done Minecraft: Story Mode, even if Jake and Sean had stayed.
Yeah, that basically sums it up. I've been around here for a long time before I signed up, lurking and whatnot. I saw a shit ton of negativi… morety back when S2 was ongoing/wrapping up. It's part of why I held off making an account; trying to wait until things cooled down. I'm one of the people on here that tends to come to S2's defense, but I'm not gonna say it's perfect, either. Mistakes were made, and yeah, there were some stupid moments here and there. But I just don't think it's as bad as some people make it out to be. I've seen people that treat this game like a literal antichrist. It just gets a bit daunting having to see everyone give it shit while I'm sitting here, feeling more or less content. Granted, I'm someone that has the blessing/curse of low standards, which probably explains it. I grew up on the "settle for less" mindset.
But when it see all the negative posts, I think about how the people at Telltale feel. If it's driving me … [view original content]
I wouldn't trust any sources other than Telltale as Amazon could have a placeholder date and the original November 15th date could have been a placeholder for the disc version in the first place.
It's also possible that Telltale asked retail stores to remove the November 15th date so they changed it to another placeholder date or removed the date altogether as Amazon UK have removed the release date and have also completely removed the ability to pre-order the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game.
"The Walking Dead Season 3, the latest season of Telltale Games’s critically acclaimed series The Walking Dead, might have been delayed unti… morel February of 2017, possibly adding the season to a very busy month of other games. The information comes from a German Amazon leak, which put the release date at February.
It’s possible that Telltale is only delaying the physical release of The Walking Dead to next February, as they did the same with Batman (releasing it digitally in one month and releasing it physically at a different point in time).
Regardless of when the new season comes out, it will be available on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, much like Telltale’s other games. In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait and see if an official statement from Telltale will come out and confirm whether or not the game is actually delayed."

I'm sure someone's already brought this up, as I haven't read through each page, but I am nervous for the addition of more comic characters … moreinto the game. I think it'll be cool, for sure but I kind of like having this diverse storyline as opposed to the show and comics.
I guess I'm just hoping these familiar faces don't take away from Javier's introduction and Clementine's return.
I see a lot of people are pissed that the new guy is going to me the main character instead of Clementine. This isn't really a problem for me as I am more or less neutral on Clementine's involvment in season 3. The possible problems with the new character and season 3 for me are,
1) He can't be Luke 2.0. I remember someone else saying that they got this vibe from the trailer, and I felt this way as well (even though we're judging him on a few seconds screentime). Him being similar to one of the most generic, disappointing characters in season 2 would not be a good thing.
2) He can't be simlar to Lee. If he is then he risks being compared to him and will be made to look 2nd best. It's the reason I never really liked that 400 days character that essientally had the same entrance as Lee (mysterious character with a bit of an edge, being transported to prison, making small talk before discovering ZA in brutal fashion)
3) He can't be just a generic bad ass with little personality (basically like Michonne or Daryl from the TV show).
Any news on episode length as yet? Because that's gonna play a big part on the quality of eps in my opinion. They need to be at least season 1 length if not longer. Can you imagine season 2 length episodes whilst trying to juggle multiple playable characters? That would be a fucking disaster. And the fact that AJ is still alive is ridiculous. Man, we've had awesome characters like Lee, Kenny, Lilly, Jane all written out and that burden plot device is still with us? Hopefully he will be meeting his end soon in dramatic fashion.
Good thing the Steam refund policy is to have less than 2 hours of playtime. Perfect for me if they decide to pull off that 90 minute episode garbage again.
I think Javier would be a very emotional character kind of like Kenny (but with less outbursts). I also think he would be very protective and conservative type unlike Luke or Lee ( he may not want to help Clementine early on in the game). He would be good at fighting walkers but not excellent (so not a Badass) and I think would be the kind of guy who uses his wits more than strength (somewhat like Lee but making it more clear about what he's doing).
If you're talking about Vince in number 2 then i don't know about you but I think he was a great character. One I definitely wish to see in twds3.
Also I think the first episode will focus more on Javier than Clem so there may not be much switching.
Lastly I'm all in for Clem taking care of AJ and he's definitely not a burden plot device imo.

Some thoughts off the top of my head.
* Javier has a family - they will die in ep1
* He then meets clementine
* The… morey both get tangled in a new group or clem existing group (if she has one)
* Another Randall or Carver type character - this person will have a connection to Javier and his family's deaths
* Im gunna guess at a Christa return this season
* Potential AJ kidnapping
* Luke returns like "sup bitches"
Should have faked his death to escape from the broken group and came back as a much tougher and better character in season 3 than he was in season 2. Too late to bring him back now though.

What does that even mean.
Telltale fucks up and doesn't use the absolutely perfect voice actors from the TV series to por… moretray the comic book characters and they use Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson for the 300,000th time.
They've made a statement in the past that they want to dissociate comic characters in their video games from the characters of the show—Hershel, Glenn and Michonne are proof by itself.
Didn't Fear The Walking Dead have this idea? And wasn't FTWD critically panned and hated by nearly everyone? I mean, I personally don't have a problem with this since I loved Fear and I still do. And the concept of seeing how the shit hit the fan from a different character's perspective will never tire me. But I know many people who did have a problem with this idea, and I severely doubt Telltale's Walking Dead writers have become skilled enough since Season Two to make that storyline work.

I just don't like HIM to be the major character. I have known that I am gonna dislike him from the frst moment I saw him. So, I hope that he dies in the end of the season and Clementine remains the playable character. TWD is Clementine's Story, not Javier's.
ATTENTION TELLTALE!
NOBODY LIKES CLEMENTINE! WE LOVE JAVIER MORE! PLEASE KILL CLEMENTINE AND LET JAVIER BE THE NEW MAIN CHARACTER! DOWN WITH CLEMENTINE!!!
I'm just having some fun in response to how a very small niche of people seem to have a burning hatred for Javier personally because of Job's comments about this being "Javier's story."
AWWWW Im a sucker for flashbacks with characters when they were younger!
also, since Javier is apparently in his 20s (I'm going with 23) and the outbreak started about 4 years ago, he would be in high school still (17-18ish)
-doing my own little math-
Yeah, they are right, Clem is mine and theirs personal favourite character, so Telltale making her something like a deuteragonist with playable flashbacks rather than the main protagonist, is something that makes us want Javier to die.
Personally, I would like Clem to kill Javier at the end of the season.

There a lot of us.
Most people at facebook and etc loves Season Two.
Just some people on this forum is strongly dissatisfied and do not know how to restrain their emotions about what Season 2 is not like Season 1.
Season 2 such amazing like Season 1. For me even better.
Let's play a mind game - what if, theoretically speaking in some different timeline or whatever, the roles were swapped between Seasons 1 and 2.
There would be a different version of Season 1 without Lee Everett, where Clem was the playable character and similar events happen in Season 1 without Lee being there. Lee Everett goes on to survive until the events of Season 2 and is the new playable Character in that Season. Lee encounters Clem by chance, and they go on to have the same dynamic that they had in our version of Season 1, with Lee protecting Clementine (and Clementine is not as hardened or self sufficient this time around, so she still needs Lee). The time skip is ditched, so Lee and Clem are close enough to the same age as Season 1.
Would people want Lee Everett to die because he took the spotlight away from Clem?
