Well the first episode of Batman didn't look too good to me but the second one definitely changed my thoughts. Now it actually looks very good and I'm excited for twds3. I was worried at first considering batman ep1 but ep2 changed that.
Man I sure hope this season has a happy ending. I know telltale will make Javier and Clem become very good friends (not initially but through the episodes) and then they will make them go separate ways. But I don't want that too happen. If Javier tuns out to be a really good person (which I'm sure of) then I want his and Clem's friendship in twds4.
This would be interesting to see, and an intriguing change of pace. Clem meets an older male companion who she at first doesn't always get along with, but they end up bonding in the end.
A dark plot twist: Javier the maniac is such a fan of the sport that he gifts Negan with "Lucille" and maybe Javier has his personal Lucille as well.

Could Javier have been a baseball player? He has a baseball shirt on sure, but it might just be… more a 'hey it makes me look cool' thingy going on there, aside from the fact he might favor the sport. I wonder if he played it serious, maybe he was famous or getting that way before things went to poopy.
Would bandits ask for his autograph and give him freebie 'won't kill or rob you' passes if they recognized him?
I wonder if he ever had a baseball mullet...mullets are stupid...

Rather than the baby being surrounded, one would imagine that one of the walkers would snatch, raise and devour him; other undead could approach and pull his extremities to get food of their own, resulting in his tiny body giving way and splitting in half.
So if you saved Javier's sister, Clem would finish killing the walkers, turn and be like
"Is she okay? Wait... where's AJ?"
Javier gives h… moreer sad eyes or whatever (we honestly don't know much about his personality yet)

What if Javier was introduced in season 3 episode one as a major character but was not a playable character until episode 2 and that TTG used better language in their roll out that didnt cause folks like me to see their favorite character as being dropped by the way side.
What if Kenny or Jane were to be the playable character in season 3? Would you feel differently?
What if people who voiced dissenting oppinions about Javier weren't out to hurt TTG feelings but were trying to make their own feelings known and what if those same voices of dissent weren't written off as trolls.
Let's play a mind game - what if, theoretically speaking in some different timeline or whatever, the roles were swapped between Seasons 1 an… mored 2.
There would be a different version of Season 1 without Lee Everett, where Clem was the playable character and similar events happen in Season 1 without Lee being there. Lee Everett goes on to survive until the events of Season 2 and is the new playable Character in that Season. Lee encounters Clem by chance, and they go on to have the same dynamic that they had in our version of Season 1, with Lee protecting Clementine (and Clementine is not as hardened or self sufficient this time around, so she still needs Lee). The time skip is ditched, so Lee and Clem are close enough to the same age as Season 1.
Would people want Lee Everett to die because he took the spotlight away from Clem?

I hope at the end of the Season, Clementine has to die to make a sacrifice so that Javier must live, and that Javier has his role cemented a… mores the new main protagonist of Telltale's Walking Dead (and this cannot be influenced or prevented by player choice).
After this, I hope that Javier goes on to have a story in Season 4 where he is the only playable character, and goes on to get even more Seasons/Mini Series/DLC Episodes as the solo playable character than Clementine or Lee ever did.

I think Clem could become very sassy and maybe even aggressive at some points to people she considers her enemy. I'm sure she will be gentle… more and sweet with AJ, as well as with Javier, during times where he may be scared or lost, she can lend him emotional support. Clem seems she could already be acting like a full fledged adult by now, because she was more mature and logical in Season 2 than any of the adults, who were fucking idiots at some points. I'm very excited to see Clem's character in Season 3.
Clementine could opt for cunning strategy that will appeal differently to Javier, his family, other allies, and antagonists; instead of an innocent general attitude that is supposed to convince everybody.
A New Frontier has so much potential now that Clementine can decide on her own! I believe I will finally be emotionally attached to her now.

Javier might suspect that she will privilege Alvin Junior's safety over his family's if the push comes to shove, which makes sense, but it also makes sense for him to privilege his family's safety over a toddler's.
