  • Almost...there!

  • Well the first episode of Batman didn't look too good to me but the second one definitely changed my thoughts. Now it actually looks very good and I'm excited for twds3. I was worried at first considering batman ep1 but ep2 changed that. :)

  • Man I sure hope this season has a happy ending. I know telltale will make Javier and Clem become very good friends (not initially but through the episodes) and then they will make them go separate ways. But I don't want that too happen. If Javier tuns out to be a really good person (which I'm sure of) then I want his and Clem's friendship in twds4.

This would be interesting to see, and an intriguing change of pace. Clem meets an older male companion who she at first doesn't always get along with, but they end up bonding in the end.

  • A dark plot twist: Javier the maniac is such a fan of the sport that he gifts Negan with "Lucille" and maybe Javier has his personal Lucille as well.
    xD

  • That's sensible. Subconsciously, people speak and behave very differently when they are around different people!

The reason I stressed "sassy" and "polite" is that, despite what I said above, people tend to be somewhat constant throughout all situations, so being both would prove as impossible—unless she is deliberately deceiving those around her to her own and AJ's benefit.

Me neither that polite was thrown into considering s1 Clem (but maybe she will become polite to Javier's family somewhere through the game)

  • I believe that there may be some tension in Clem and Javier's relationship. He very well may be hiding something from Clem.

Hahaha Clem in her bossy mood and why tf is Javier being such a bitch (that made me lol so hard. He seems such a tough guy but was being suc

  • Rather than the baby being surrounded, one would imagine that one of the walkers would snatch, raise and devour him; other undead could approach and pull his extremities to get food of their own, resulting in his tiny body giving way and splitting in half.

Telltale could go visceral if they wanted.

Or maybe I am just too creative.

So if you saved Javier's sister, Clem would finish killing the walkers, turn and be like "Is she okay? Wait... where's AJ?" Javier gives h

  • They do share common goals and common enemies—which could be the inhabitants of Capricorn Farms—but they also have family and interests of their own to prioritize. As others have said in the thread, this could serve as the constant source of tension throughout the season.

This would be interesting to see, and an intriguing change of pace. Clem meets an older male companion who she at first doesn't always get along with, but they end up bonding in the end.

  • That would be absolutely devastating, and Clem would most likely be mentally scarred by AJ's possible death, and turn stone cold.

Yes man exactly . Our Clem and little Aj are like siblings and if he were to die after being with her for almost 2/3 years it would make her cry and seeing baby Aj die and my girl Clemmy cry it would make me cry too.

  • I agree, the suspense will come from Clem and Javier being cautious with their families throughout the season, before eventually being captured by the Capricorn Farm inhabitants.

  • He very well may be hiding something from Clem.

Perhaps the fact that he has a family to look after! If they have not been taken hostage by the antagonists, that is; otherwise it wouldn't work.

If he doesn't trust this teenager fully, he probably wouldn't confess the location of the last people he cares about.

I believe that there may be some tension in Clem and Javier's relationship. He very well may be hiding something from Clem.

That makes sense, because he doesn't full know her and who she is, he is debating with himself whether or not he can actually trust her to help him find his family.

    Lets reverse it.

What if Javier was introduced in season 3 episode one as a major character but was not a playable character until episode 2 and that TTG used better language in their roll out that didnt cause folks like me to see their favorite character as being dropped by the way side.

What if Kenny or Jane were to be the playable character in season 3? Would you feel differently?

What if people who voiced dissenting oppinions about Javier weren't out to hurt TTG feelings but were trying to make their own feelings known and what if those same voices of dissent weren't written off as trolls.

Let's play a mind game - what if, theoretically speaking in some different timeline or whatever, the roles were swapped between Seasons 1 an

  • "Deliberately deceiving" huh? Sounds Interesting. Also Now that I think of it she has done this before. Remember the options like "I'm just a little girl or i don't want to hurt anyone and the best one (sad eyes) in twds2e1.She sounded miserable but on the inside she had more balls than anyone else to think of sneaking inside and then stitching her arm. She can do that again but it'd be difficult to pull off now that she's a young teen.

  • Have fun, it only gets better from there.

  • OK understandable but like why wouldn't he trust her? She just a sweet young girl with a baby boy and they are all alone in this world. It would make no sense not to trust her. It would be very weird if he tries to hide important stuff from her. It's a little tricky to understand but please think like I know he wants to save his family and all but even in an apocalypse, I can't see why someone wouldn't help a little girl who's trying to raise a baby all by herself.

That makes sense, because he doesn't full know her and who she is, he is debating with himself whether or not he can actually trust her to help him find his family.

  • If that ever happens I think I (a big Clemmy fanboy) and all others who are team Clem, won't even consider saving Javier as an option.

My biggest fear is that we will be forced to choose who won't die at the end of the season, Clem or Javier.

  • I hope we get to bitch slap people.

I think Clem could become very sassy and maybe even aggressive at some points to people she considers her enemy. I'm sure she will be gentle

  • I, also a huge Clem fanboy, will do everything in my power to make sure Clem is safe, even allowing Javier to die, with no regret.

If that ever happens I think I (a big Clemmy fanboy) and all others who are team Clem, won't even consider saving Javier as an option.

  • I hope Clem can bitch slap those motherfuckers from Capricorn Farms.

  • Clementine could opt for cunning strategy that will appeal differently to Javier, his family, other allies, and antagonists; instead of an innocent general attitude that is supposed to convince everybody.

A New Frontier has so much potential now that Clementine can decide on her own! I believe I will finally be emotionally attached to her now.

  • So it's not that bad? Maybe I will get it.

Does Episode 2 look as good as Telltale's other PS3 games? (TWD, TWAU, TFTBL)

  • The reason why he will never be able to fully trust her is precisely because she has a toddler to look after! Javier might suspect that she will privilege Alvin Junior's safety over his family's if the push comes to shove, which makes sense, but it also makes sense for him to privilege his family's safety over a toddler's.

  • Yep, I wouldn't even think about it. I'd save Clem in a heartbeat. (I probably would think about it if I end up liking Javier)

If that ever happens I think I (a big Clemmy fanboy) and all others who are team Clem, won't even consider saving Javier as an option.

  • I always thought it would be the other way around with both of them being captured early on, but I like your approach better.

I agree, the suspense will come from Clem and Javier being cautious with their families throughout the season, before eventually being captured by the Capricorn Farm inhabitants.

  • I do sympathize with Kenny as well, which means that I understand why he chooses to do what he does and the situation that led him to have to decide in the first place.

The difference is that I also dislike him for his choices.

but I know what you're gonna say.
