How do you think the Walking Dead franchise will end?
Could it end with the apocalypse ending and humanity inherits the earth again? Or with the entire Earth's population dead and then walkers inherit Earth?

With a sea of tang.
It'll probably end with them discovering a cure...
...Or with everyone dying.
Well, I don't really think it'll end with the whole cure route or that humans will die out, or some shit like that, but it'll just simply end with the characters continuing their survival in the new way of life. There may be some hints at society slowly rebuilding itself, but it'd still just end once the stories do and the world continues with the way it is, zombies and all.
Personally, I'd prefer it that way, as it doesn't seem as overly happy as finding a cure, which doesn't seem very likely in the universe anyway, or too grim (and lazy), like with everyone dying. The world just keeps moving and the characters just keep with their everyday fight to survive. It fits the overall atmosphere - bitter sweet, in my opinion, best.
I think i'll end with the last remains of the military from Europe who took all the nuking codes just when the outbreak happened, nuking the usa and other continents so people don't discover that there are cities, even really small parts of other counties that have the outbreak under control, since the beginning.the communities have been brainwashed believing the outside world is toxic and all outside of their cities will receive ebola, turn, and die. The reasons why they do this is that they believe that they can make a peaceful and perfect society.
IN THE WALKING DEAD, IT'S MENTIONED THAT FRANCE HAD A CONTROL OVER THE OUTBREAK.
Everyone dies.
If Kirkman is the Zombie buff he appears to be. He based this to a large percent on Night of the LivingDead. So Spoiler alert everyone dies! We won't get to know if theres a cure because all our leads will be dead, even Rick &Co. Now the show and games may go there, find a cure. But the comic won't. In those pages all will die.
uh... when exactly?
Jenner mentioned that France fell, too.
Well. I'd say there will be some kind of a cure? BUT it's THE ONLY CURE!
To be honest I think the walkers will inherit earth and there will be less survivors.
JK I don't think it will go down that route. I think something a little more complicated will occur this game.
EDIT: I mistakenly said "this season" and got words mixed up. I meant to say "game".
I just think that it would end with society rebuilding. Rogue groups would still exist, but more and more communities would be built. The threat would never go away, but throughout the years it would become more manageable. Zombies would become a pest, and within time, a lot of interconnected communities would commerce and create their own separate and overarching governments.
And while that is all speculation, I will deliver the fact: Tears. This universe will end with tears.
Wait, did he mean this season, or the whole TWD thing?
Not really, it is said that France was the last country in Europe to stand, meaning it still got overrun

I'd imagine it would just keep on moving. I picture Kirkman ending the Walking Dead with someone walking into the sunset or dying. I can't exactly see everyone dying, because that's somewhat boring and with everything going on I don't think Kirkman wants that to be his ending.
The year is 2143...after nearly a century and a half of low to no carbon emissions entering the atmosphere a massive new Ice Age envelops most of the earth...the remaining humans are able to capitalize on the frozen walker situation and get a lid on the outbreak. A cure is found...but sadly the earth is hit by an asteroid the next year and all life is wiped out. Roll credits...give me my damn royalty check, you are welcome Kirkman.
I think that the walking dead will end with a very large community that can deal with the apocalypse and start a new society.
"A new frontier" so to speak.
Walkers can't inherit the earth because they would rot away after a while.
I assumed by reflexive response he meant game. But he could mean the whole establishment. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
