  • I feel the same way! I love discussing theories and opinions with you guys here, and it's so fun to talk with you guys here. I'm so sorry if I have pissed some of you off in the past, I can be ridiculous sometimes, but I love hearing what you guys think could happen in Season 3! Thank you so much, I love you all! This is such a great community!

Seriously now. I would have to say the same about almost all users.

  • Why is it sad?
I appreciate smart kids too, with a little bit of spirit, but I'm just saying that the whole Clementine is superior to everyone thing doesn't really fit IMO.
It just gives me some Season 2 flashbacks.

  • Meet The Telltale Community!

  • Quite frankly I want the opposite. Instead of a badass how about an emotionally unstable girl who grew up in the apocalypse.

I'm a bit confused on why people want Clem to be this super-mega bad ass. Her appeal in Season 1 wasn't that she was a bad ass, it was that

  • So much discussion about Clementine going on!

What do you guys think Javier is going to be like? So far, his personality reminds me somewhat of Lee... But I definitely think he'll be a lovable character.

  • Yeah, it's just that on Twitter, EVERYONE is talking about the Season 7 premiere, and I'm just like "How bout that Season 3 trailer?"

  • Ahh, that reminds me: Is Laura all right? Kinda strange that she hasn't been around the forums lately (from my past experience, anyway).

If you cannot answer or simply do not know, that's fine. T'was just curious :P

As for the "soon" comment, our idea of the word may be different than Telltale's, but "very x5 soon" should be some form of indication that, for once, the word soon actually means "in the near future". XD

Yes. Clem shouldn't be "the almighty saviour", because it just wouldn't make much sense. She is competent in the apocalypse, but there isn't any proof from earlier in the series to prove she's capable of doing badass things to save Javier when they first meet.... So, she should act her age (though a bit more mature) and be still be within the boundaries that she is still a child/teen.
I don't want to see her be the one to solve every conflict, or save every person. She should just be a more competent, maybe-slightly-recluse survivor after the events of Season 2. (At least for my Clem)

So, yes I do agree with your "more competent, but still introverted(-ish), sensitive within reason, and inquisitive [...] Season 2 over played it to compensate for her being the playable character, and they didn't follow up on writing her like a believable child character." arguments. Thank you for that.

EDIT: Wow. I didn't notice the big spelling mistakes in this when I posted. sorry.

    Aww, thanks buddy!

And let me thank all you other people as well. During the time spent here on the forums, I learnt, understood, and discovered more things in TTG's games than I would have if I had never joined. Because of this community setting, my love for Telltale's games has increased and the connection with all other fans of their games has really helped me find good friends/acquaintances (I really needed that at the time). So, thanks be to all.

Now, back to Walking Dead! Together!!

Agreed. I think that is what they should have done with Clementine in Season 2. It would've been more natural and organic for her to cope with survivor's guilt and be forced to become more competent while still being mostly close to her Season 1 persona.

Quite frankly I want the opposite. Instead of a badass how about an emotionally unstable girl who grew up in the apocalypse.

  • Hey, I wasn't sure where else to post this so I thought I'd do it here.

And yes, I know I'm supposed to contact Telltale if I'm having issues with a game but I just wanted to check if this is normal or not.

So, I've recently download TWD: Michonne onto my laptop, but when playing it, the screen is a square shape, instead of a rectangle. Is this normal, or can I change it?
Sorry if this didn't make sense and thank you.

I'm pretty sure she is fine, she was at Minecon in California so she still works at Telltale and i think the main reason we don't see her on the forums is because @kenjisalk took over her forum role and we now also have @mostlypoptarts who will be on the forums. :)

    1. Why people expect from Clem to be a superhero and to save them all, being the most BADASS? She's only 13!
    2. People disgust me when they talk about Clem in disgusting way (because she has boobs for example), you already know ... pedophiles everywhere.

  • edited October 2016

I agree with both of your points. I don't want Clem to become a badass out of the blue. I liked how she was portrayed as she's not an expert at killing walkers in season 2 as she was only 11 years old( for example the shed fight with one zombie in ep1 or bridge fight with 3/4 walkers in ep2 and even the fight in hardware store in ep3). But I think she will be a bit better in season 3 but not exactly like michonne or Jesus in the comic book who are experts
And obviously the sick people who sexualize Clem disgust me. She is our baby girl Clementine idk how can people even think to do something like this to her.

  • Young teens or not. No one thinks about Clem in a sexual way. Those young perverts make me mad. She's Clementine after all.
