I was normally guessing a November 1st release myself earlier on, having known the disc is supposedly coming on the 15th, but I'm skeptical … moreat this point since they have not put the game up for Pre Order or otherwise shared new info that is typical for a new episode release (like Key Art, a trailer, episode summary, etc). I'm now betting on the 8th at this point.

Hopefully when I play the game I don't get that error when it launches, because that happen to me when I got Batman: The Telltale Series. At least I got a refund from it, it's a shame that I couldn't play it...~
I don't think it can release in the first two weeks of November as episode 1 hasn't had a individual rating yet, if it does get a rating at some this this week i think they could get it out by then but hopefully if the game doesn't release on the 8th we can get a trailer and screenshots .

I formatted my computer so my physical saves are gone. But, Steam cloud saves seem to be there. I think i do need to download them since i don't have a folder for TTG now.
Maybe try downloading seasons 1&2 to get the cloud saves back and then removing them afterwards, once they do come back make sure to make a manual backup.

Telltale seriously needs to start stepping up their marketing game. I don't know of any company that starts advertising their games a week or two before release.
A trailer should have been released at least a month ago and by now the game should be already popping up on all gaming websites, but it isn't...

That's true and it also provides a bit of background on the character that's offering the choice sometimes.
I mean you can preorder the game from gamestop and their website says November 15, 2016 for the retail disc.

Agreed, I have never understood their marketing strategy. Its like they don't want any hype at all.
My bet is release date will be on Halloween and key art will be on sunday and trailer on monday.
