Okay everyone, gather around the fireplace, because it's time for a story. The story of the L4D2 boycott.
So, as you probably know, L4D2 came pretty quickly after the first game. It was released only a year after the first game came out in 2008. Some people were hesitant about how quickly the sequel was coming out, the usual concerns; that it's just a money-grab, that it'll be unpolished, that it will be a flop, etc.
But a few other people were against L4D2 for a different reason; they felt that Valve would end up neglecting the first game. That was the reason the boycott started in the first place. The guys that originally started the boycott started it because they felt that Valve was abandoning L4D1 due to the production of a sequel. It's not that they had a specific problem with L4D2, they just felt like the first game was being neglected, which didn't sit right with them.
So for all intents and purposes, the boycott started out with good intentions. There wasn't any malice towards L4D2 in particular. At least, not at first.
After the boycott picked up traction within the community, the reasons started to get twisted. It became less about L4D1, and more about L4D2. Some boycotters didn't like how L4D2 looked/played, which led to other people agreeing. And then more. And more. And soon enough, you basically had a mob of people angry at L4D2 for... well, existing, basically.
So after a few months of the boycott shit storm, it finally met it's end. The L4D2 boycott was basically called off after the original people who started it were flown to Valve to play L4D2, and were given reassurances about L4D1. They were satisfied with what they saw and felt the concerns that sparked the boycott were resolved. After that, the boycott pretty much fizzled out, with most people buying the game anyways. So most people just look back at it as being pretty ridiculous. And let me tell you, being someone that witnessed the boycott first hand-- beginning to end-- it was very fucking ridiculous.
But you know what the funniest part is? The original reason for the boycott still ended up coming true-- L4D1 was ultimately abandoned, especially after they ported the entirety of it into L4D2, more or less rendering the first game pointless.
TL;DR: A few guys felt that L4D1 was going to be abandoned due to L4D2, so they started a boycott. Eventually, the boycott just became a bandwagon of hate. Everyone got annoyed at it. Then it died. The end.
Guys, don't you remember what day it is? Maybe we should try using different types of sorcery and voodoo magic at our disposal to summon Tel… moreltale to share a trailer with us?
"Telltale, when should we expect a trailer?"

Well,I kinda like AJ ,but it's his opinion and it's free speech,I think, besides ,you can hide his comment or ignore it alltogether if it bothers you.
Just saying!I am not taking any sides here!
If Telltale repeats what they did for Batman, then we might get the Trailer approximately two weeks before the episode release, with a trail… moreer announcement on Twitter the day before.
If they do the same thing for New Frontier and if New Frontier does indeed release on November 15th, we would theoretically get the trailer tomorrow and an announcement about the trailer on Twitter sometime today - which would work out well with it being Halloween. However, let's wait and see what happens.
I'm still surprised they aren't releasing it on Nov 1st, since the Season Pass disc usually comes two weeks after the first episode going off of newer series like Minecraft and Batman where they release the disc at the start.

Worst case scenario, you are well rested for tomorrow should we get news then, or later tonight.
Well, my only hope is to wake up tommorow with a beautiful trailer upcoming...
Don't expect anything. We would have gotten teasers by now. Just treat it like a normal day.
Good point!
I am alive thanks to hope. Don't kill me please ^^

I'm sorry, my friend, but we can't help ourselves. We are so hyped, and we are so close, there is a lot to talk about.
No worries; I am just joking.

Did Telltale seriously just pass up the perfect chance to release a debut trailer on Halloween Day?? Wow.
Honestly I didn't expect anymore.

Why did you not use @NotSoBlindGuy?
It's generally helpful for us to keep tabs on Waiting Threads from our feed when we can, no matter how bad it gets sometimes.
Thank you for your enormous sacrifice.
I believe it's safe to say that your feed bell is +99.
