Talking about that first poster, there are two things I notice.
1) The "people" behind them look like shadows, or ghosts. Are they actually leading a group or are they on their own? Will they get there in the story or will they start out that way.
2) They look relaxed, Javier more so than Clementine. At least he doesn't appear to be expecting anyone, a ambush or something similar. Clementine seems a tad more guarded but not enough to keep the gun up and her shoulders look relaxed too. Maybe this is just a indicator of their personalities or perhaps the scene is supposed to take place after the their mission is over.
Who else always thought S2 ep 4's title/start art was the best one? I always thought Clem was going to join some weird ass cult or something judging it, I was strangely disappointed when she didnt :P
Ok so what about not a lot of posts? They say no news is good news. So no posts means no news but the opposite of no posts is some posts which there are some posts so if there's some posts that must mean there's some news and if there's some news it must mean it's good news because the only way we would get good news is with some news because if we got no news that could also mean good news but it could also mean balls deep in infinity and I don't like our chances of getting balls deep in infinity so I'm gonna take it we have good news because we have had no news and no news is good news and good news is a trailer and since we have no news, that means good news, and if we have good news THAT MEANS A TRAILER!!!

I think they took of his hat to avoid spoiling if you skip over to episode 4 without playing episode 2 yet, even though without the hat you can still tell its him, but the hat would have just gave it away. And yeah not my favorite either. But it certainly had the best and most interesting title art and made me worried for Clem before playing it, it would have been cool to find another surviving group that is cult-ish like in the comics but maybe in season 3.
Yeah, I thought she was going to get stuck in some cult too.
I'm not sure if you've noticed this, but you can also see Kenny standing beh… moreind her, and they're both not wearing their hats...
But it's not my favorite out of Season 2, I'd say my favorite was the first one.

The five stages of waiting for a Telltale Games Epsiode.
* Excitement
* Frustration
* Barganing
* Headdesk
* Acceptance
Persona… morelly I'm at stage three, and would gladly offer TTG my first born child for a trailer, or some kind of update, hell a screen shot would tide me over nicely.
Headdesk... just made it to stage four.

On the contrary, I think you were clever figuring that out! And it's not like you figured it out with leaked info - it was all from clues within Telltale's officially released marketing materials, so that is on them.

I always assumed that they were people with whom Javier and Clementine had escaped Capricorn Farm, but, now that you mention it, the figures could represent the weight that both have on their shoulders due to the protecting the people whom they care about and those whom they've lost.

This game is going to destroy my computer if fire is going to be a distinguished feature, going by how my computer hates when Batman uses a fog effect. Also the giant outdoor environments...OH BOY!!!
True. I think they also rely on IGN since they go crazy over every TellTale Game (not sure about Batman though). I guess we'll see next week. I assuming they will start marketing then. When they were semi-consistent with their releases for TWD:S2 and TWAU, they usually gave the week before and after the release date to that particular game. Maybe that is the case here, which means this place should explode on Monday or Tuesday.
Well thanks, but I don't know if I would call myself a "professional" yet... I finished my marketing undergraduate schooling like 5 months a… morego.
I just believe Telltale's marketing looks bad because, yeah, when your product is a gift-able item released around the holiday season, you want to market that. And compared to other games, telltale doesn't have a lot of visibility or information for consumers to go off of. I agree, they're dealing with a bigger beast than just a typical game, where story can usually be spoiled in order to showcase gameplay - the heart if the game. But let's be honest, telltale gameplay is not what people play these games for, so they have little else to rely on in terms of what they can spoil. A release date though should not be that difficult.
Seeing their pattern of scarce information also leads me to believe that they care more about "word of mouth" marketing, either through the fans (I know I sure have recom… [view original content]
Wouldn't that be the opposite? PC always releases at launch. I think she just saw the placeholder dates for the season pass on Amazon and just assumed it was right.

Fire represents the death of the old world and the forging of a new one.
On a more positive note, fire can also symbolizes life. It can mean that humanity is slowly reclaiming their lost territory and thus reigniting life.

"I don't know what the fuck you're saying but I know it's bullshit."
I'd say that's because they didn't want to reveal what they looked like that early on.
But maybe they are meant to be just shadows or ghosts... Maybe they're the antagonists? And they are following/stalking them?

It just made me wonder, because Clementine doesn't have her hat either.
Which is the only time in season 2 that you see her without her hat.
Yeah that part is strange. I dont even think she took her hat off in episode 4.
I'm stuck at 2&4
Just a guy who wants attention. Happens every time a new installation of a popular series comes out.
My brain can only handle this much...
Nope, it never comes off in season two. (Besides that picture)
I didn't get a word you said, but YEAH WE ARE GETTING A TRAILER BRO
It comes off one time determinate when you hand your hat off to Michelle I think. It didnt even come off when she fell into the rapid rivers tho.
Thanks! @Clem_is_awesome did a great part of it as well.
This is logically sound
I started on five and now I am on one.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

I stopped reading by that point.
The weather's kinda shitty tonight, isn't it?

More has to do with all the whining this person was able to find. A proper response would be 50% gross, 25% denial and 25% drivel.
Bigby says hello here.
This thread became so boring. Not even the telltale community has anything worthwhile to say anymore. Telltale I think its time for some news.

In the meantime, the wait continues...
Exactly, Telltale hasn't given us any details to discuss and make theories about.
People aren't required to comment here constantly. There's nothing wrong with a thread staying quiet until news begins to emerge.
Telltale is the one to blame on this one... We get nothing new to discuss on.
Let's hold a super serious, in-depth discussion on what type of fabric Clementine's hat is made of.
???
Well depends on which platform she talks about. Because the ps4 and xbox one get it on 15th of November and PC version on 29th of November.
But You talking with each other about the lack of news.
It's called communication ^,^
