I think it's fake, Telltale confirmed that Season 3 will only release on new consoles, and it shows Xbox 360 and PS3 as a console to purchase on. I do hope I'm wrong though.

I swear it's like people don't want TellTale to advertise and promote non-TWD stuff. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: they NEEDED to get their Batman promotion out of the way. One that episode's promotion time is over, TellTale will go into overdrive to promote TWD. ANF will be everywhere TellTale has a hand in. TWD is TellTale beast; they had to keep that animal in it's cage until the time was right. If they had said a single thing about TWD during the past 2 weeks, all attention that Batman had fought to obtain would have been lost in an instant. Batman needs this time to build it's foundation. TWD already has it's foundation; it's more like a city on hill.
It's like if a popular movie company releases a new film franchise and then a releases the sequel to its star franchise a couple weeks into the new movie's run. Why would you want one of your IPs to compete with another one of you IPs? What's the point of having an IP lose money (the #1 point of an entertainment company) because of competition within the family? It makes no sense.
Let's calm down people. It's coming out. Tomorrow is Tuesday. Tuesdays seem to be TellTale's day to do things. Let's be patient. It's coming. Allow TellTale to be known for more than just TWD. We're getting our game.

Little known fact...TellTalegames website is hosted on a computer in someone's grandma's house...it is Windows 95....running an old 233 and 32 megs of ram...8 gig hard drive...AoL 56k modem.....computer has severe overheating..so they opened the sides...there is a sticker on it that says ALL YOUR BASE.
They previously had it set up to display Episode 4 info, but for some reason, it has reverted to an older version. I don't know why.
Also, I think that's on the web team to update and not the marketing.

I didn't want to be too pessimistic but i did have a thought that maybe they might want to push it back slightly so they can show the episode 1 trailer at the game awards on December 1st and then release it in December, they also could have sent a false release date to stop retailers leaking the real date before they are ready to announce it as Amazon have it listed for December 31st 2017 which is a long way out and extremely unlikely.
