I don't mind if people use abbreviations off handedly and mostly for longer words/phrases, but "You"/"Your" doesn't require a lot more effort to type out than "u"/"ur" and I'm trying to make it to where people put more effort into posts instead of treating the forums like a chat room.
We're wanting to focus on improving posting quality in a few different ways. We're hoping to be able to elaborate more on this with some revisions/additions to the Forum Guidelines that we are putting finishing touches on at this point. EDIT: I should clarify, small stuff like this is not what the new Forum Guidelines will be focusing on; I just brought that up to make the point that, in addition to new Guidelines, we want to try a few other things as well.
